Laptop C655 can't insert SD card into slot

SD card won't go all the way into the laptop's slot. This is a brand new laptop. Have had no problems before in previous Toshiba laptops. Any suggestions short of sending it in for warranty service?

One alternative is to try some single sided stiff adhesive tape, same stuff photo labs use to extract fully wound in film from the film 'canister'. Easy to use if a card has been put into the wrong card slot as generally some of the card will be visible. A bit more difficult with a vertical positioned drive (iMac) I admit but on the assumption the card dropped to the bottom of the drive slot have a feel with the tape. I don't know if the adhesive (tacky) element might incur any damage to any 'laser' component or whatever component is used to read/write in these drives.

Happened to me too. Just before I went on holiday and I was clearing off my SD card for my camera. I left it there until I got back (having to buy a new card at the airport) then did a quick search. You've got to really blame Apple for the design of the machine when you consider the sheer amount of people who have made this mistake. At least I won't make it again.

How can I Insert a BLOB into a Table from Java?

I have a Java class that creates an xml file from data in a non-sql data source. After it successfully creates and saves the file it inserts a record into an Oracle table to log the fact that an xml file was created.
Now the guy in the warehouse wants to get an email with the file attached. I have been looking into the apex_mail package, because we already have a procedure using htmldb_mail. However, that procedure is on our old server with HTMLDB 1.6 and it is not sending any attachments.
I think I have most of the apex_mail worked out, but I'm stuck on the blob thing. This is what I have so far:
* The Java program creates a String object called xmlDoc
* After xmlDoc is fully constructed, the file is written to the (Linux) server. This is accomplished with the following:

From within APEX one can enter blob data in database tables, view the data and also update the data. Also one can send a blob attachment in an email.
May be you can follow a combination of the following OBEs to insert BLOB data and send BLOB data from APEX:

How can I insert a image into a BLOB column in a table?

I am using forms6i against a 10gR2 database and I have one table with a BLOB column and I try to insert a image into this column. I get ORA-01461 error.
The curious case is that in another table with a BLOB column it works very fine.
What happens with the first table? How can I avoid the error?

I can't insert my data into the table - help please

I have a trouble about JSP. I'm using Java2 SDK,JSP 1.2,Mysql and TOMCAT.
I want to do this. A user has to enter the nicno,into the html form(EnterNicInter.jsp),to verify if it is already exist or not. If it is exist in the db, an error msg(Record already exist) must be displayed. If not, then the page "InterviewForm.jsp" displayed. This part is working.
But, I can't save these details into the db by clicking submit button int the InterviewForm.jsp.

you should try something different, since you are mixing up a lot of code.
1) create a separate method just to connect and disconnect from a database;
2) use the value entered and see if you can find a record in the table. If the record is there, then you should re-direct your jsp to a jspError, else goes to another form.

How do I disable Photshop Abum from starting when I insert a card into the card reader.

Can you insert a CD into a macbook pro

I dont know where the slot to insert a CD into a macbook pro or does it even have a slot?

The Macbook Air and the Retinas don't have optical drives. The classic model will have it either on the side or in the front.

Inserting a CD into Slot-Loading Drive

I'm new to Mac. I just bought a latest MacBook a couple days ago. I have a question about slot-loading drive. I'm not really familiar with this drive. Once, I tried to insert a CD. I forced my cd, but the surface didn't let my CD go inside. So, I just tried again, just like swiping my credit card. Then, my CD went inside. Is there any specific instruction to insert a CD into this drive?

(Actually, I made a mistake here.
I should not ask this question here because I don't have an original MacBook.)
However, I still feel that it's not that simple.
As you said, I held the CD by edges, and the CD is level with the drive bay. If I try to slide the CD into the drive directly, the CD doesn't really get inside very easily. However, If I push the CD from the right edge of the drive bay and move the CD to the left while pushing it to the drive bay, the CD finally gets in, and the drive will take it. This is why I was about to break my CD.

Inserting SIM card into iPAD

For the third time of asking, and thank you to those who have responded so far.
HOW DO YOU INSERT THE SIM CARD?
I know about the pinhole into which one sticks a paper clip or suchlike and the sim cradle is supposed to slide out.
BUT NOTHING HAPPENS AT ALL. HAS ANYBODY ELSE HAD THE SAME ISSUE?
What angle should one push the pin in? I've tried every angle and the **** thing just remains closed.
I feel I have been conned. Can anyone help please?

Push it straight into the hole on the side of the iPad next to the tray.
From the manual :
Open the SIM tray: Insert the tip of the SIM eject tool into the hole on the SIM tray. Press firmly and push the tool straight in until the tray pops out. Pull out the SIM tray to install or replace the micro-SIM card. If you don’t have a SIM eject tool, you may be able to use the end of a small paper clip.
If it won't eject then are you near to an Apple store ?

How can I insert an image into a cell in Numbers for iPad?

Hi,
is there any way to insert an image inside a cell using Numbers for iPad? I tried doing it on desktop version and it works, then I shared it through iwork.com and downloaded into my iPad and it's showing fine on the iPad ( although there's no way to edit or change the image inside the cell ) but when I try to do the same task on iPad itself, the image always comes floating even if I place the cursor inside a cell before inserting.
any idea how to do it or if it's even possible?

Images can be added to cells only as "image fill." Cell fill is an attribute of the cell, not content of the cell. Only cell content can be retrieved by a formula or by copying the content of the cell.
Copying the cell will also copy its format, including the image fill, but I've found no way to extract the image from the cell.
