Laptop crash, now trying to install CS3 on another computer
Hi there. I had Creative Suite 3 registered on a laptop and desktop. Well, my laptop crashed and died, and now I'd like to put that registration of CS3 on a new computer. However, it won't let me install it because it was never deactivated or uninstalled on that old laptop. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks for any advice you may have.
Installation has nothing at all to do with registration or activation.
So, please back up and tell us exactly where the problem is. Is the software installing but failing to activate?

You need to contact support directly for activation/deactivation and other installation issues. It’s usually possible to start a live chat, if an Adobe agent is free, and often to get the problem fixed right away. You will need your serial number. Without a bootable backup/clone or a Time Machine backup of your previous Snow Leopard installation or a saved copy of Lion's install app, you'll have to upgrade your Leopard volume to Snow Leopard (10.6.6+) so you can waste another hour or more DLing the Lion thing again.

I am trying to install CS3 on Windows 8 and keep getting a message saying "the serial number I entered is not valid please enter it again" Does anyone know how to install successfully on Windows 8?
CS3 is unsupported under Windows 8. That said, you'll need to contact Adobe
directly for serial number issues. -
had to buy a new laptop and am trying to install XI (current and active licensee)....registration setup screen indicates ("Invalid Serial Number")? Account is active.
Is it by any chance asking for a "qualifying serial number"?

Had a trial version, now trying to install full version from disk and won't work
I am now trying to install a full version of Aperture 3.0 from a disk after having a trial version downloaded a few months ago. Everything goes fine until I click on the icon after installation. A box comes up asking for serial number to upgrade the trial version, but says that it is invalid after I enter it. Product was purchased directly from Apple, so it is a valid disk. I have deleted all the accompanied files that I can find that were on the computer prior to having the full version. What else should/can I do to get this to work?

Did you deinstall all of the files mentioned here?
Re: Aperture Removed...still wants to update
And afterwards open a terminal window (the Terminal is in Applications -> Utilities)
and type the following command:
sudo pkgutil --forget com.apple.pkg.Aperture
You will need to enter your admin password.
Then try again to install your boxed Aperture 3 version.

You have not provided any system information and if that is really the exact text of the warning, then it has nothing to do with Adobe, but rather something your IT department put there. You have to get in touch with them.

Close the window and print .... Read this for the details. Once you install it - you should be able to print from the print option in any app.
I have downloaded the demo twice. I forget exactly how to do it, but it is very simple. If you installed Printopia, just try to print something - try a web page or a photo. Tap the Arrow icon in the upper right corner in most apps to get to the print option. -
Today Apple retail unit/shop in sold me Airport Time Capsule. Now trying to install on my 21 inch iMac which runs OSX10.6.8. Seems I should have newer OSX and also newer Airport Utility version (mine is 5.6.1). What can I do, please? So much looking forward to using Time Capsule. It is not at all readable on box. Now with a magnified glass I can just about make out the installation requirements printed in tiny print at the bottom/base of the box! I have tried software update etc etc and to download Airport Utility update from Apple website. This was unsuccessful because of OSX, I gathered. You need OS X 10.7.5 or later. Most likely you can upgrade OS X on your iMac. You already have 10.6.8 and access to the App Store. If your computer qualifies to run Mavericks, then that is what you would upgrade to, otherwise, you would upgrade to Lion.
Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mavericks, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion at the Online Apple Store. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax. It's a download. You will get an email containing a redemption code that you then use at the Mac App Store to download Lion. Save a copy of that installer to your Downloads folder because the installer deletes itself at the end of the installation.

1. Mac computer with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7,
or Xeon processor
2. 2GB of memory
3. OS X v10.6.6 or later (v10.6.8 recommended)

There is no de-authorize process for Lightroom. Just download the latest version and use your License key to authorize on the new computer.

I'm trying to install iTunes on my computer running Windows 7 Home Premium. I'm not sure if iTunes is compatible with my computer operating system because when I try to install it, it says the installation is completed but it says there was an error so it won't let me get itunes! Natalie.I just tried running the Lenovo Hard Drive Quick Test both in normal mode and in safe mode. Both times it indicated a failed read test on the HDD. The last two tests also failed. I forget what those tests were called.
I am really beginning to think I have a bad HDD and the problem just happens to be in the reserved partition where my factory system software resides. -

You might consider itunes match for moving CDs you've copied into your itunes library if you dont have a way to use home sharing.
iTunes match is an optional service offered by apple that costs about $25 a year. It scans your music library and if it finds music that is already in apple's itunes catalog it'll automatically "unlock"/"store" these in the cloud for you.
