Laptop ENVY hinge is broken

My Envy laptop hinge is broken. It happened just one week after warranty expired. I am so disappointed with the quality. I never drop it or misuse this laptop. I am a student and use it only for study.
When I search online, I found so many people face the same problem.
I trust HP's quality that's why I choose this laptop but......
What should I do now ? I really need a laptop for my homework.....

Welcome to Adobe Forums.
You can use the same subscription on 2 machines. If you want to use it on a 3rd machine you can deactivate
Photoshop from this machine. Please follow the below article on how to deactivate.

Will HP warranty cover my laptop hinges being broken?

Hi so i got a hp g6 paviliion laptop and both hinges are broken. The laptop still works but something must be behind it to hold the screen up. So my question is that the laptop is still under a year old so would hp or the shop i bought it from repair it free of charge? or would it cost also how much would it cost in general to repair 2 fully broken hinges - i can pull the hinges out if i want to leave the wires if that helps so..

I cannot find info in order to contact a warranty person(s) about having my laptop fixed/replaced that is under warranty and a hinge is broken causing the screen and the casing to pull apart. Can I have that #? I live in the U.S.A.

Thanks for posting but I really don't think you can comment if you are not aware of the specific issue.
If you search for the HP envy hinge issue you will see many many posts that relate to this and in each instance HP has collected the machine and fixed for the customer.
I have alraeady had this experience with one of the two machines I own and HP picked up the laptop, repaired and returned it at no charge.

I have 2 printers HP 6310 all in one with the same problem, the Print Cartridge Door Hinges are broken.
Were can I buy the parts? is it too difficult to change them?
Is it a HP repair services in my area?

I understand the cartridge door latch has broken.
I will be happy to help you.
This is a older model so you might not be able to get that part replaced.
I have provided the HP Parts Surfer. It doesn't look like a replaceable part.
If you can get it to connect and tape the door shut so the printer recognizes the door is closed, you might still be able to still use the printer.

My laptop envy turns on, per se, in the sense that the keys, loading light, on light, and etc light up--However, the screen remains dark or blank and the light on the caps lock is blinking. What should I do???????????????????!!?!?!

It looks like your Notebook has a blinking/flashing CAPSLOCK light and a blank screen all the time
Please read the below shown information for better understanding:
Capslock LED Blink 1 time : CPU not functional - Replace Processor
Capslock LED Blink 2 times : BIOS Corruption failure - Replace System board
Capslock LED Blink 3 times : Memory error not functional - Replace Memory Module
Capslock LED Blink 4 times : Graphics controller not functional - Replace either System board or Graphics card
Capslock LED Blink 5 times : General System board failure - Replace System board
Capslock LED Blink 6 times : BIOS Authentication failure - Replace System board
However, I would request with you to perform the below shown step before contacting HP
Step 01. Turn OFF the Notebook
Step 02. Un-plug the Power/AC Adapter and also remove the battery too
Step 03. Press and Hold the Power Button on the Notebook for a full minute
Step 04. Test your Notebook with Battery and Power Adapter alone
Note: If you are still facing the same issue try to remove and reseat the Memory Modules of your Notebook

1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.

Still take it to an Apple store genius bar so you can get feedback on what it will cost for repair.
You can also see if you can find an Apple Authorized Service Provider and get a price from them, their work is accepted by Apple.
You can check iFixit.com and see if they have the hinge and price so you have another price for comparison.

Laptop screen clips was broken

I have laptop ENVY Sleekbook 6-1129WM, this one has a very bad screen clips, whatever, Today while I opened the laptop as usual and I found both clips broke. Regarding that I bout it on the Augast 2013.
Does the warranty covers that isse, and if so how to contact HP to tell them?

Just call them and ask them. Personally, they probably will cover it. It doesn't seem like accidental damage. Those things can weaken over time.

HP Envy 15-JO63CL broken hinge problem

My hinge on the right side of the laptop has broken. This is obviously from a manufacturing flaw, because I have babied this thing because I need it for work. The screw for the right hinge falls out, and little chunks of plastic sound like they are rattling around inside of it. When I open and close the laptop it pries open along the right edge.
I bought this laptop 8 month ago, but it says I am out of warranty.
Can you please help me fix this issue? This was an expensive laptop and the hinge should not wear out after only 8 month of very gently use.
Also, after some research it has become obvious that this is common problem for this laptop, and HP laptops in general.

This is my 5th HP laptop and I haven't had any issues until this one. I have an HP Envy that is just over a year old and the left side hinge is pulling out of the laptop and pushing the top of the keyboard section up when I try to close it.   The laptop hasn't been dropped or damaged in any way. What can I do?
