Laptop Fails To Aquire IP From Iphone4s Hotspot

i have a toshiba laptop with win xp sp3. its not able to aquire ip from iphone hotspot. i tried using usb hotspot it worked but its not able to connect through wifi hotspot. after entering my hotspot password it shows aquiring password but after few attemnts it shows failed. i entered ip mannually in laptop wifi. that ip i got from usb hotspot but still it dosent stay connected even for 5 seconds. other mobile devices are able to connect to my iphone hotspot. if any one found solution for this plzzz help me out.

I assume that turning off the firewall in the HP did not help. Please note that some people with Zone Alarm have had difficulty turning off the firewall, and they had to unistall this software to get the firewall turned off.
What wireless card are you using in the HP. If it is the Intel Pro Wireless 2200 bg, this card it known to have connection problems that were fixed with the last driver upgrade. If you have this card, go to the Intel web site and download and install the latest driver.
In fact, you probably should download and install the latest driver for your HP's wireless card, regardless of which card you have.
Also, if you want to run WPA2, Windows XP requires a patch to run WPA2. Go to Microsoft Knowledge base, article ID=893357 and it will direct you to the patch.
Sadly, the patch is not part of the automatic Windows XP updates, so lots of people are missing the patch.
In the HP, make sure your wireless card is set to "obtain an IP address automatically" and "obtain DNS address automatically".
Give your network a new unique SSID. Do not use "linksys". If you are using "linksys" you may be trying to connect to your neighbor's router. Also set "SSID Broadcast" to "enabled". This will help your computer find and lock on to your router's signal.
Also, go into "Preferred networks" (sometimes called "Profiles" ) and delete any networks named "linksys". Delete any networks that used your old SSID. While you are there, delete any networks you do not recognize, or that you no longer use.
Also, enter your new network (using your new SSID, encryption method, and key). With WEP, be sure to enter "key 1" from the router, not the password or passphrase. Reboot your entire system, then try again to connect wirelessly.

If you have a dropbox account, there's a free app (probably more) that syncs photos to your dropbox account - picbox.
There's also PhotoSync that syncs photos to/from a number of different services and devices.

Don't know what you mean by saying 'formatting laptop'. If you can't backup your iPhone 4 to iTunes, you're supposed to do a few things to make it:
Download and install the latest iTunes on your computer. You'd better download it from Apple official site
Launch iTunes, click Store menu to authorize the computer with your Apple ID;
Restart your iPhone 4 and try to connect it with your iTunes. If your iTunes recognize it and offer to set it up as a new device or restore, you should click set up as a new device. In the next step, you can see the option 'Back Up Now' to create a backup of your iPhone 4.
Besides, backing up iPhone 4 in iTunes and restore your iPhone 6 with the iPhone 4 iTunes backup to get the data, you can also backup your iPhone 4 to iCloud(tap Settings > iCloud > sign in with Apple ID > swipe iCloud Backup to ON and click Back Up Now) if your iPhone 4 can access a network. Later, on your iPhone 6, you can click Settings > iCloud > sign in with your Apple ID. Then tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings. Iphone4 Hotspot trouble with WIFI

When I turn on my iphone4 hotspot to broadcast WIFI I have no trouble connecting my laptop to the WIFI signal and everything works great. After about maybe 15 minutes or so, my laptop loses the connection and no longer "sees" the WIFI (phone and laptop sitting 3 ft away). When I look at the phone it still says "Personal Hotspot - 1 Connection" but the phone is no longer sending the WIFI signal. Anyone else having this trouble? I tried it again and again but see the same result.

Sorry to hear you are having Wi-Fi® issues with your BlackBerry® Curve™ 8520 smartphone.
Have you tried rebooting your router and modem? If you connect to another Wi-Fi network does this same thing happen?
Have a look at KB13299 "Use the Wi-Fi Diagnostics tool" when these apps seem to stop running.
Let me know how you make out.

Using Wireless printer 4500 series and prints dark from laptop but light when sent from a phone?

I am using a wireless f4580 printer i believe and when I print from my laptop the item print dark but when I send items from my Iphone 4 to the print they print so light you can barely see them and I just replaced the ink so I know it isn't that. What am doing wrong or what do I need to do? thanks in advance.

Do you see any advanced options for managing print quality, like "Economode printing" or changing print speed (draft, normal, best etc.) while printing from Iphone4? If yes, then choose options to give best print output.
If there are no options available while printing document, then you might need to see if you have same document or same document properties & contents (font - size, color, etc.) while printing from different computers.

Dear All,
I am Automating STATSPACK reporting by modifying the sprepins.sql script.
Using DBMS_JOB I take the snap of the database and at the end of the day the cron job creates the statspack report and emails it to me.
I am storing the snapshot ids in the database and when running the report picking up the recent ids(begin snap and end snap).
From the sprepins.sql script

This fails with the following error:

could it be the begin_ and end_ Colums of your query?
Seems SQL*PLUS hs parsing problems?
try to fetch another column from that table
and see if the error raises again.

Hi,
On SID generation data load failed while loading data from Source DSO to Target DSO.
Following are the error which is occuuring--

Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT, InfoObject 0BBP
So, i'm not getting WHY in one DSO i.e Source it got successful but in another DSO i.e. Target its got failed??
While analyzing all i check that SIDs Generation upon Activation is ckecked in source DSO but not in Target DSO..so it is reason its got failed??

Hi,
I hope your data flow has been designed in such a way where the 1st DSO as a staging Device and all transformation rules and routine are maintained in between 1st to 2nd dso and sid generation upon activation maintained in 2nd DSO. By doing so you will be getting your data 1st DSO same as your source system data since you are not doing any transformation rules and routine etc.. which helps to avoid data load failure.
Please analyze the following
Have you loaded masterdata before transaction data ... if no please do it first
go to the property of first dso and check whether there maintained sid generation up on activation (it may not be maintained I guess)
Goto the property of 2nd Dso and check whether there maintained sid generation up on activation (It may be maintained I hope)
this may be the reason.
Also check whether there is any special char involvement in your transaction data (even lower case letter)

Pse6 was installed and working on vista 64bit version of the OS, now won't install on rebuilt windows professional 7 32bit (keeps giving me serial number not valid errors). I'm not trying to pirate these programs. Just want to reinstall them.

How to Reference a Slice from a Hotspot in a Add Behavior

I want to create a command that does the following ;: the user selects several items and runs a command that will copy that selection to another frame (prompt for frame number), create a slice around that selection, hide that content on frame 1, insert a hotspot and link that hotspot to the slice as a swap to the chosen frame. Once complete, the user should be able to hit F12 and see their swap in action. This is useful for things like button states, menus, tooltips, or other rollover popups.This would take many of the manual steps out of creating a swap.I think the behavior I'm trying to achieve should be built into Fireworks. The prototyping capabilities are in need of improvement from a workflow perspective..
I can use dom.copyToHotspot() to create the slice (very nice). I'd like to use the addBehavior("MM_swapImage directive to connect my hotspot to my slice. To understand how this works, I manually dragged from a hotspot to a slice and create a swap image and then I looked into the History panel and copy steps. I got the following

The number '278038900' causes me some concern. When I look at the documentation for extending Fireworks, I see that that number refers to the target slice. The documentation say "target specifies the slice to which the behavior is attached. Pass1– for this value; all other values are used internally by Fireworks" which I take to mean pass -1 to refer to the selected hotspot/slice. Here's the rub, I don't want to refer to the select hotspot, I wanted to refer to the destination slice. I'm wondering if I could reference the destination slice using a selection array.
This brings up an issue with Fireworks scripting. It would be nice if I could give items an ID so that I could refer to those items by their ID rather than by the contents of a selection. I noticed that in the command 'dom.addSwapImageBehaviorFromPoint(where)', they say that I can select a slice and then refer to a hotspot at where (x,y). That might be an avenue to addressing my problem. But, finding something at point (x,y) is pretty fragile. If I add a hotspot, I'll know the x,y.

Do you have a compatible OSX installed on this 'storage' HDD? If not, it will not boot your MBP.

If the drive has failed the only way to get any data off it is to send it to a Data Recovery company. Which is very expensive and no guaranty they will be able to retrieve any data.
That is why Apple has included a system to backup your Mac on a regular basis, Time Machine. Also there are other Apps to do basically the same thing by Cloning your internal drive to an external drive. Carbon Copy Cloner and SuperDuper. Along with using Disk Utility to Image the internal drive to an external drive.
Sorry to tell you but if the drive has really failed your Data is gone unless you pay a large sum of money to one of the Data recovery companies.
