Laptop lid closing function doesnt work correctly

Hello,
I use openbox and acpid is installed.
When I close laptop screen, my laptop does not sleep nor hibernate, fans continue to work and if I put the laptop in to a laptop bag ( which I did because I thought it was working ), the laptop becomes very hot in very short time.
If I want to open the laptop again, screen does not open. I dont know if the system is really working or not but it doesnt open no matter what. So I'm forced to do hard reset.
systemd-logind service logs like its working normally but it is not;

Both of them failed again.
systemctl restart systemd-login made X crashed, so I started X again and used them together "sudo systemctl restart systemd-login && systemctl suspend", but same thing happened
pm-utils made fast move and I thought it worked, but then fan started to make noise, and when I tried to open it, it failed again;

I find arch wiki very confusing, it's not helpful. Only helpful guide was beginner's guide, the rest is either confusing or incomplete.
I think I'll install either Xfce or Gnome, because this is making me feel I'm going nowhere.
Also, another thing is, I dont know if its about disabling acpid but, now whenever I do something new, like opening a tab in firefox, clicking on search area in arch wiki, my machine acts like a new cd inserted, but instead it uses hdd, it stops for 1 second, drive starts moving, then it acts, and I'm talking about 8gb ram, i7 machine...

You have been asked to post the code. We cannot troubleshoot pictures.
Are the X and Y arrays the same lenght? Is any value NaN? What does the error output tell you?
(Also note that in this case, it would be convenient if we don't need to wire X. have a look at this idea!)

HT4773 I have upgraded to Lion and I have a new Apple keyboard, however none of my function keys work correctly. Any idea what is the solution?

I have upgraded to Lion and have a new keyboard. The problem I have is that the function keys are not working correctly - none of them. F1 -> F6 are not working at all and F7 - F12 do what F1 etc are supposed to do. Any ideas for a solution?

That message is telling you to update iTunes on your computer, not your phone. You need iTunes 11.1 on your computer in order to sync your devices.

Ipod nano doesnt work correctly

I have already boutgh the new ipod nano 7 generation, it works correctly, but when I transfer the music into it, the multitouch pad doesnt respond, and it works slower.

Looks like the battery is broken.
I would give it back to apple for a new one.
If you have an apple store next to you, bring your ipod to them, because that should save you a lot of time.

The javascript functions are working correctly, but still get scripting error messages

When you open or run any javascript functions in this form, error messages pop up, but functions work correctly. Anyone that can help me get rid of error messages? Screenshots are attached.

Brush function not working correctly PS Elements 11 for Mac

The brush is not working correctly in that I cannot drag the brush. It allows only spot healing, not dragging the brush. Didn't use to have this problem. Now do. Not sure what has changed. Thank you!

DW pages doesnt work correctly

All pages made with Dreamweaver CC doesnt work in my browsers. I made design as in tutorial, but I can see only texts in browser. I used Explorer, Opera, Chrome. I also started my site on server, but problem is the same. Its strange that example file doesnt work too

Assuming you defined a local site folder in DW before you began this project, I'm guessing your style sheet is not properly linked to your HTML page or you forgot to upload it to your server.

If you didn't define a local site folder, DW cannot manage links and assets for you. You must define a site for all new projects by going to Site > New Site and tell DW where to keep local site files on your hard drive. See screenshot.

if I close my notebook Toshiba Satellite L40-14G, PC went to sleeping mode.
But I want that if I close it PC don't went to sleeping mode but it should work normally and display swtich off.
How can I do it?

If yes then follow this steps:
- Go to control panel
- Energy/Power options
- At the left click on the option called something like choose what should happen when Lid was closed

nick'day' doesn't trunc to the beginning of the day. It truncates to the first day of the week: in your case 31st May.
'ddd' truncates to the beginning of the day.
So, leaving the second parameter out defaults to 'ddd' not 'day'.

Mod function not working correctly

I wrote a code to decimal to binary number system, this code works properly for 5 but show wrong result on 47. I tried lots of times but not getting solution.When "23.5 mod 2" calculated I
got the remainder 0 which is worng it should be 1.

Playlist function not working correctly

I have an Ipod nano 4th generation, it works fine in every way it is supposed to except when it come to the playlist function. When ever a song is selected from a list of songs or an artist/album list containing 10+ or so songs it does not add the selected son go to the on the go playlist on the ipod. Instead it adds a completely random song from the list with no logic to the song it picks. Does anyone else have this problem or know how to solve it? I have sent one Ipod away to be fixed but the replacement appears to have the same problem. Is this an issue with all 4th generation nanos or am I just rather unfortunate? if it is a recurring issue have apple acknowledged it/done anything about it?

Because you have uploaded the files with the iWeb FTP, the folder of files created by iWeb - southcoasttv - has been uploaded along with the index.html file. Therefore the URL has the folder name in it and this is normal.
You can change it if you want but you need to use an FTP application to upload the files rather than the whole folder....

DW logout function not working correctly

I have CS4 on Vista ultimate. I am using WAMP for testing.
In DW, I clicked on the menus to make a logout page. To test it I logged in as a user in one window(FF) and opened another one and logged in as a different user... When I hit the logout button on one, it logged out both users....
How can this be that everyone gets logged out by one? I have used dw's login and logout functionality and have not changed either...
any ideas?

You say that session objects are shared between all browser window/tab instances.... Those are 2 different things... tabs are in windows...Open a new window and it should be unrelated to the others....
isnt each session id for each window unique?
I have 2 different FF windows open, each logged in as a different user, log out one, the other is logged out as well....
But, since your post I tested with IE and FF and then it works how its supposed to, only one is logged out...
I understand how sessions work but thought that each window had it own unique session id, especially for different users.... I guess thats only true on two DIFFERENT browser windows... weird....
seems like it should not be that way, but it is... so oh well, I guess thats not a real problem, just seemed like one. Thanks.

Laptop lid closed freezes the system after xorg update

Hello! After the recent xorg-server update one of the problems I got was that when I close the lid of my laptop (it is configured to turn off the screen) the system just freezes and the screen never turns on again... I try to change TTY, press ctrl-alt-bkspc, even press 1 time the poweroff button (that usually shuts down the system gently) but nothing happens. Anyone with the same problem?

Interestingly enough, on a fresh boot, Xorg runs in tty8, instead of running in the usual tty7. It also takes very long to come up after the boot sequence. Could it be that it's crashing and then running another instance immediately after?
Anybody else have something similar?
