Laptop locked up--what to do?
I have a MacBook Air laptop from mid-2012.
It has worked wonderfully since the first day--until today. When I raised it from sleep. I got the login screen. When I started typing in the password field, I noticed that in the right corner of the pw field, there was a grey up arrow and a grey arrow pointing to the left. When I hit enter after putting in my password, the field shook from right to left to indicate that it wasn't accepting the password.
I knew the pw was correct, but after several tries it still wouldn't accept it. Then I did something where it changed the user name, and turned into a different desktop. It still would not take my password, even as I observed the password hint it supplied me with.
I am sure those two grey arrows in the password field have something to do with the problem. Anyone have any idea what's going here and how to fix it?

I my ipod isn't letting me swipe in on the lock screen, and for now, i've given up on that, and i just got a new laptop. Firefox 5 on my Windows 7 64 bit laptop locks up. Have not be able to get on the internet for days.
I have used Firefox for 3 years on all my computers. However, Firefox 5 on my Windows 7 64-bit laptop locks up. I want to uninstall it and use an earlier version. Also, the "key' in the address bar to 'remember the password' for this site will NOT behave! No matter what I do, it continues to crop up. I dislike Firefox 5 because it is causing me delays, using up my time with constant problems. What previous version do you recommend I use?

My daughter cannot remember her laptop lock combination and now it is tethered to her bed locked!! What can we do???
Try harder to remember the combination, try every combination until you get it, cut or otherwise physically remove the lock, or cut the bed?

The extension is usually .mov, .m4v, or .mp4. But you can't just change the extension. The movies have to be encoded in a particular fomat. Anything downloaded from iTunes or plays in Quicktime player will be fine.

If your iPod Touch is telling you to connect to iTunes and when you do, you are prompted to Trust the computer but are unable to due to the device being disabled, you will need to put the device into Recovery Mode and restore it with this article:

Keep in mind this will delete all information on the iPod, and you will need to restore it from a backup:

When checking in SE09 transaction my TR number "Object Status" is showing as LOCKED.
What does it mean
Whether I can transport objects under this TR Number to Quality System?
Will it give any problem while transporting?

Viji.The main reason to lock the request is to avoid any duplications.
You can also unlock the request if you want using SE03 transaction.
Goto SE03 transaction,select unlock objects and execute.give your
request number and execute.it will be unlocked. -

If the old laptop was a mac also, then use your Time Machine backup to restore you user settings and files.

Forgotten Restrictions Passcode Help
You will need to restore your device as New to remove a Restrictions passcode. Go through the normal process to restore your device, but when you see the options to restore as New or from a backup, be sure to choose New.

My iPhone 4s was stolen this weekend and I did the Remote Lock. What exactly does that do? Also, if i do the Remote Wipe will that erase all of my data and impede anyone from ever using the phone?
The remote lock locks the iphone with a passcode that you set. By remote wiping the device it will simply restore it and clear it of all its data, but by doing this it will prevent you tracking it and communicating with it (e.g. remote locking it) in the future

You have to force iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button.
5. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad. Data will be lost. -

Return it to the store where you purchased & get your money back. Either that, or call the store. No one here can help you, as there is no one from Apple here.

TS1717 why is itunes freezing on 2 different laptops , no matter what version I try downloading ?
Why has itunes caused 2 laptops to freeze - what has Apple done to what was a working system ? I can no longer search without the system freezing !!! That applies to 2 versions I have used - itunes was working fine until I installed the new version .
