Laptop printer won't print wirelessly

Hi    My laptop printer is connected to printer wirelessly.  I can get on the internet as it recognized the wireless setup but it will not print anything from internet and will not print my register from Quicken.  I removed the software and reran it from the HP disk.  I received these messages:
Internal error 753.hpwySchd2.exe  and after a second try to take off software this message came up: Files\Hewlett-Packard\eSupportDiags\HPeDiag.dll failed to unregister HResult-2147220472.  I have no way to unscramble these messages.  What am I doing wrong?
Read some posts and ond said to recyle printer power.  I turned it off then back on with no change.
My desktop has the primary LINKSYS router attached and can perform all printing jobs wirelessly from printer.  Printer is Deskjt 6840c.
thanks for any help!

OK, first, what operating system are you using?
Have you disabled your security software and re-tested?
There may be some help here (choose your OS, then look for Updates).

  • AE won't let second laptop print wirelessly

My mac mini which I used to set my new AE prints with no problems wirelessly to my printer. ( I've got the Brother printer hooked up by ethernet to the AE).
However, no matter how I try I can't print anything to that same printer from my Macbook Pro. Do I need to reinstall the printer drivers on my laptop? Do I need to do something on the mac mini Airport Utility setup?
    This is really frustrating.
    Please help!
    Thanks.

After doing that, open Disk Utility, select the partition or volume with your OS X, click the "Repair Permissions" button, and allow it to run until completed. (Mine runs for at least 3 minutes,)
Then open the "Print & Fax" panel of System Preferences, add + your printer to your list of printers (your MBP's list may be only one printer or many, depending how many different printers you've accessed). Then set your printer to be your "Default Printer" and quit System Preferences. Next time you go to print, you should see your printer offered, and it should be able to print as long as no error message (such as "out of ink" or "paper jam") shows.
P.S. No mention of the exact Brother model, but some multi-function printers require the software install besides a driver install for all functions and features to work. My HP MFP did.

  • IPad won't print wireless since power went off and on yesterday,  but will print wirelessly from laptop.  What do I do?

iPad says my printer is off line ( since power went off and on yesterday.  My laptop prints wireless though so I am wondering how to get my IPad back to printing?

Restart your printer and router by removing power to them for 30 seconds.

  • My HP dv4-2045dx won't print wirelessly with my HP Officejet 6500 E709n

My HP Pavillion laptop won't print wirelessly with my HP All In One printer.  It will print if it is hooked up, and the printer works wirelessly with my other computer.  I've uninstalled the printer and updated the drivers.  The print wizard goes through all of the steps to configure wirelessly, finds my printer, tries to connect, and fails at the last minute each time.  I believe it may have something to do with the fact that I also can't scan to my laptop.
P.S. It used to print wirelessly.  I have no idea what changed.

  • New Envy 5534 won't print wirelessly

I have installed a new HP Envy 5534 MFD for my parents. Works fine from workstation where it is wired in with USB2 (single page, scan, copy, duplex) however from a Asus laptop running Win8.1 it will not now print anything.
Tested fine when installed, printing a test page but today won't even do that. Have uninstalled the HP software from the laptop and downloaded and installed the latest driver package from the HP website but still no response from the printer. When trying to print a Word doc (Office 2013 Pro Plus) using the duplex feature there is a really unhelpful message that pops up:
and from the Windows print dialogue:
The printer is correctly linked into the Wi-Fi so am at a loss of what to try to resolve this. Reading the manual there is no mention of intervention necessary printing wirelessly.

Starting off -- this is not my specialty:  no shooting the messenger.
You might try Restarting everything, including the Router
Leave the computer with the USB switched off till last... In fact, leave it off until you can test the wireless system setup.  Test all the way -- that includes testing a printed document, not just a test page from the printer.
It might be that the wireless radio on the printer is shutting off when you connect the USB to the other computer.
If you can get the Asus W8.1 system to print
    and then
the USB desktop will NOT print (just because the world hates you)
    You might try:
Be sure you can get Full Feature Software for the Desktop for the printer
Remove existing printer software from the desktop
Install Full Feature Software for the Printer on the Desktop
Some Help for whatever you decide to do:
     Removing Printer Software

Control Panel > set icon view > Programs and Features >
Scroll down, find the Printer program > Right-Click on the program > Uninstall
Repeat these steps for each occurrence of your printer's name until none remain in the list.
Restart / Reboot the computer and log in

  • I'm trying to share a new Canon printer wirelessly between my HP laptop and my iMac.  I've successfully printed from both computers, but, I get errors trying to print on one after I've printed on the other.  Any ideas on how to get them to both to print?

I installed a new Canon printer several months ago that I was told by the salesman could be shared between my iMAC and HP laptop.  I have successfully used the printer wirelessly from both computers, however, it gets hung up switching between the two and I'm not sure what to do to get it to be consistent.  Any ideas?

You didn't state how it's connected to each computer, if it's connected through your router then it should work. If it doesn't then you need to contact Canon and ask for assistance.

  • Asus laptop will no longer connect wirelessly to HP printer

My Asus laptop was connected to my HP PhotoSmart 7420 printer, wirelessly with no issues. In the last month, I upgraded my Comcast internet service to the fastest speed Comcast has available. In addition, I replaced my router ( Linksys Model: WRT1900AC) & range extender (NetGear Universal Dual Band Wi-Fi Range Extender, 4-port Wi-Fi Adapter). Every WiFi related item in my home works much better with the exception of the printer. On my laptop, I removed the HP printer and asked the laptop to search for it to re-install; the laptop indicates "no printers available"? Even my desktop PC sends error messages indicating that the "scan to computer" feature no longer works when, in fact, it does work?
    Help!

    Hi @TSimo,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I wasn't able to find much on a Photosmart 7420, did you perhaps mean Photosmart 7520?
If that is correct, this may just be a case of needing to reconnect the printer to the wireless network again due to the upgraded router and extender
To do this, please restore the network defaults on the printer (press the wrench on the printer's touch screen, select Wireless, then select Restore Network Defaults, should be the last option) and once that completes go back to the same Wireless menu on the printer and run the Wireless Setup Wizard on the printer. This will update the connection on the printer itself.
After this completes you will need to remove the driver and re-add it on the computer. How this is done depends on the operating system, so if you're not sure how to remove the driver and re-add it, please let me know which operating system you use and I will get you some instructions

  • HP LaserJet M1217nfw MFP used to print wirelessly, now won't

At some point the printer stopped printing wirelessly.  I completely uninstalled and reinstalled the software from DVD, and have run "wireless" setup several times.  It will only print through a USB cable.  ScanDr only reports that it can't communicate with the printer.  The wireless network works fine, though we are also unable to print wirelessly to a different printer when both used to work.  I don't know if this is a software/printer problem or a Windows 7 problem (i'm on an ASUS laptop) or a Kaspersky problem or a router problem or what.  Have wasted hours trying various suggested solutions and nothing so far has made any difference.

    Hello JBC666,
I understand that you are having an issue with printing wireless from your M1217nfw. I can understand how frustrating this can be. I would like to confirm a couple of things with you to get better understanding of your setup.
    1) How far away from the printer is the router?
    2) Has there been an recent changes that could have caused the issue?
As well printing a network test report, is an excellent option to find out if there is any issues with the connection at all. I have included the following steps to print the test.
    1) Press the wrench button
    2) Press the right arrow until you see Network Config
    3) Press Ok
    4) Press the right arrow until you see Network Test
    5) Press Ok
    1) Does anything fail on this test?
    2) What is the signal quality?
    3) Are you able to view the printers embedded web server?
Steps to accessing the embedded web server
        1) Open up your internet browser
        2) Type the IP address (from the test report) into the address bar
        3) Press Enter
    Thank you.

  • Not all laptops in household connect to wireless printer on AEBS

I have the latest Airport Extreme Base Station (n), and an HP Deskjet 5900 printer connected to it's USB port. The AEBS is setup to Share the printer wirelessly. I've also made this option available through the main desktop (Mac Pro) that is connected directly to the AEBS.
I have a MacBook (intel) connected wirelessly to my network. I was able to connect to the "Add" the HP to my list of printers and successfully print to it wirelessly.
Unfortunately, our MacBookPro that is also connected wirelessly can not locate the printer.
    Some facts:
    -Both laptops are running 10.5.8
-Both have the latest HP Printer Drivers
-Both are running admin accounts, so we should be able to make any necessary changes to printers, prefs, etc.
    Couple of things to note:
When hitting "Add" on the MacBook, I get an extensive list of connection options, e.g. "Default", "Fax", "IP", "Apple Talk", etc... the HP Deskjet is connected via Bonjour.
When hitting "Add" on the MacBookPro, all I get is one two column window with the option "Local Zone" at the left, nothing on the right hand side, and the fields "Name, Location, and Print Using" below... all of which are not selectable.
We are able to print to a hardwired USB printer connected to the MacBookPro, but that's about it.
The MacBookPro does have Parallels installed, so I don't know if that is some how changing the behavior of this panel, but we aren't running it at this time, since this is being setup in the Mac OS side.
Hopefully that is enough information to give a clearer picture. I'm hoping it's a setting somewhere that for whatever reason was inadvertently turned off.
    Thanks!

A couple things to keep in mind with what you are trying to do: the AirPort card was originally intended to allow the computer or laptop to connect to a wireless base station, such as a router, AirPort Extreme, etc. It just so happens that setup properly they allow the computer to work as a wireless connection point to the internet for another device. They are not intended to provide the full functionality of a router, however.
While a number of people using the forums have discussed connecting devices like iPads to the internet via their iMacs and MacBook Pros, using the computer to provide internet access and at the same time work in reverse by providing wireless printing could end up causing signal clashes and conflicts.
You would be far better off installing a router to provide the functions you are describing. Or keep very tight controls on what device is doing what and not over burdening the AirPort card.

  • How do I make my all-in-one HP printer wireless for my laptop?

I have a HP Photosmart C7250 All-in-One printer.  Just bought a HP Pavilion dv6-6113ci Laptop.  I have a Netgear modem.  Instructions in book to convert to wireless is in Greek to me.  Is there an easy fix to making my printer wireless??

    Hi,
What are you trying to fix ? What is your Netgear modem ? Does it have wireless router to go with it ? Please check this book and select one suitable connetion for your existing hardware.

  • CP1025nw won't print wirelessly; two copies of printer appear in the network!

My two Macs running Mountain Lion (10.8) won't print wirelessly to the HP CP1025nw. HP Setup Assistant can't find the printer after it's set up wirelessly. The computers see the printer wirelessly when I try to add it, but there are TWO copies of the printer, and they won't print. Sometimes they seem to think the printer is already in use, possibly because there are two copies.
The printer prints fine through USB, though.

Same issue here, the CP1025nw can't print multiple copies UNLESS the user is a local administrator; which in this domain environment is not allowed. So another solution must be found.
The common answer is to adjust the "mopier mode" however this driver does NOT allow for that to be changed. The universal drivers typically do have the mopier setting but I could not find any compatible colour universal 64bit drivers that would work with the CP1025nw.
Even tried finding something in group policy and/or printer permissions, still no luck.
    Please help!

    Hi,
Did you try HP Auto Wireless Connect?
    1. Restore network defaults from the printer front panel. Wireless>Wireless Settings>Restore Network Defaults.
    2. Download the printer software, http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=al-93470-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&...
    3. Before you run the sofware, make sure you computer is wirelessly connected to the Virgin and that the connection is a saved profile(automatically connects). You can check this in the Manage Wireless Networks section of the Windows Network and Sharing Center.
    4. Run the software and select the Wireless connection option.
    5. Select Yes to run HP Auto Wireless Connect.
