Is there any way i can plug my Laptop into my Tv Screen?

If your T.V. Supports it get a adapter cable to your T.V. most new HDTV's will support HDMi/ VGA/ DVI inputs.
Just buy the Adapter cable that you need and rock the T.V.
If you macbook pro is newer then displayport will be the method of choice. Apple sells DP to VGA and DVI cables but you can only get third party DP to HDMi adapters.

Stepped on my laptop and the screen cracked...!!!

Last night, I accidentally stepped on my laptop and my screen cracked.. Half of it is just all black and you can't see anything. My laptop is "Toshiba harman/kardon" and its only 5 months old. Is there a way to fix the screen, switch it or something? If yes, then how much would it cost? Please help!!

Only way to fix it is to have the screen replaced. Without knowing your model number and that the rough estimate would be between 200 dollars up to around 600 dollars. It all depends on what size and type of screen you have. Could give a closer price range with the model number of your laptop.

I have a Model - MacBook Pro Laptop and the screen recently turned the colour grey, giving me no visibility or access to the unit.
Has anyone had or seen this problem before? Can it be fixed? I had a repair guy from my local Mac Store take a look at it - he said I needed a whole new screen and top of the computer, but this didn't fix the problem. I took the unit home unrepaired, and a week later it was all of a sudden working fine.
What is happening with my Laptop? Once this happens (grey screen) does it mean that it's going to become a chronic problem?

It's kind of difficult to diagnosis your problem without a visual clue, because there is a (mostly) software based "gray screen" at boot issue.
But if you got the screen replaced, took it home and now it works, why the repair shop didn't get it working before it left the store is beyond me.
Unless the repair shop is a authorized apple reseller/repair, I wouldn't have taken it to them, and of you did, they should have fixed the issue right away.

Dropped laptop, after Toshiba screen, nothing happens. Help!

My wife accidentally dropped our Toshiba Satellite L750 part# PSK1WU-0SW04G. The drop was from about 3feet onto a tiled floor. The laptop was off and closed when it fell. It landed on its bottom side and there is no obvious signs off damage to the outside. When you try to start the laptop, the Toshiba screen comes up and then goes off (like it used to), but nothing happens after that. The led lights work, the fan works, won't won't ever boot up. It'll just stay on a black screen after that.
Foolishly, we had just downloaded a bunch of pictures and videos a couple of weeks before that were not backed up yet. Hoping to gain access to at least recover those. And would love to have a working laptop again.
Any assitance would be greatly appreciated. From what I've read, guessing the hard drive was damaged?

Purchase a USB hard drive adapter and see if the hard drive can be read from a different computer, if not then google "data recovery" and have someone try to recover the files for you. Good luck.

Try to pick up the information how much it will cost to repair it. If you have this information you can make a decision what you will do.

Sure. Do you need the connection to be wireless? Most of the time you just need an adapter and a cable to connect to the monitor. Can you tell us your Mac model and display model?

HELP - Laptop constantly blue screens since installed new E4200

I posted earlier about problems with a laptop connected to an E4200. I am connecting to our wireless network and then using AT&T Global Dialer to access my company's network via VPN. I have two desktops using the wireless network with absolutely no problems but the laptop constantly blue screens and/or loses the VPN connection. This started the day we installed the new router. Today I noticed that when I view all of the available wireless networks on the laptop, I see two of them for our home network (in addition to all of my neighbors' networks). The duplicate SSID's have different MAC's and are on different channels. Could this be causing my problem? We had an older Linksys router prior to the E4200 and had absolutely no problems with the laptop. Is this because the E4200 is dual band? Would I be better off without this feature?
When I view the available wireless networks on my desktop, I only see the one home network, not two. I also see only one of our neighbors' instead of six or seven (not sure if this is significant). I don't know why the laptop sees two but the desktop sees one. Any suggestions from anyone for this?
I called technical support and all they wanted to do was sell me an extended warranty. She wouldn't or couldn't answer my question about why the laptop saw two SSID's for my network and whether this could be causing me problems.

Well, I connected the laptop to the guest network and haven't had any problems since. I left it up about 5 1/2 hours last night and it stayed connected with no blue screens. So far, so good this morning, although I can't say definitively it is fixed because once it went a whole day without blue screening, and once it only had problems one time during the work day. However, five to six times a day had become the norm, so I am hopeful.
I am convinced that the problem is that it could see two networks with the same name. Probably those are there because it is a dual brand router and one is 2.4 and the other 5 ghz, but I don't know how to tell for sure.
I can't change the wifi card on my laptop because it belongs to my company. I did check to make sure it could handle 5ghz and it can. I also have the latest version of the firmware.
I have searched and searched the internet and it seems I am the only person in this world having this problem. If anyone has any ideas for anything else to check, that would be great, just in case connecting as a guest doesn't work long term. I did check the settings and they are the same for 2.4 and 5 ghz, so why do I see two networks on the laptop, while I see only one on the desktops? I am using Thankvantage Access Connections on the laptop.

IPad crashes PC laptop with blue screen of death when syncing

I just got a brand new iPad and I cannot sync a bunch of songs or photos without it just completely shutting down my laptop (PC)and giving me the "blue screen of death". I tried reinstalling iTunes, disconnecting any USB connections I may have and completely updating my lappy...but nothing works! Why can't apple just make something as simple as "syncing" work? Do I have to buy a Mac in order for my iPad to work properly?! Please help me out with this syncing problem.

Use old Windows laptop as second screen for Macbook Pro

I've recently bought a Macbook Pro (mid 2012, 13", 2,5 GHz). So I'm not using my Acer laptop anymore, but I've came across a discussion of people who extended their Mac screen on a Windows laptop. I've tried multiple VNC apps, but no decent results (lots of lag, only mirroring my screen and so on). So my question is: how can I use my Acer to act like a second screen (I prefer a LAN connection instead over WiFi)

I have set-up my Apple TV through ITunes and on the Apple TV. AirPlay is on. Now I like to know how I can watch a German TV show which I have rot saved on my harddrive, I am streaming it, I can watch it on my laptop screen. I want to mirror it on my big TV screen. I have wireless N, laptop is updated, Apple TV unit is newest model.

AIRPARROT.... hurray!!!!! No iTunes needed. You can do anything on your laptop and it will show up on the big TV screen. After running a free 20 minute test trial at airparrot, I signed up for 5 Apple laptop hook-ups for $30. A great deal as I now can take my Apple TV unit anywhere and just install it through a friend's Apple laptop or my house guests can utilize the mirror feature through their Macs. Yesterday, I watched a German TV channel broadcast on the big screen, reception was almost perfect. Sometimes the picture stuttered a bit but the problem has nothing to do with Airparrot rather with my wireless connection/my speed reception in the different rooms.
I just bought a Linksys Maximum Performance Dual-Band N900 Router (E4200v2) to maximize the wireless speed. I will also install the Amped Wireless High Power Wireless-N Smart Repeater and Range Extender (SR300. I think I end up with perfect broadcast reception even when others are online at the same time.

I bought my Playbook to use as a second screen for my laptop. Apparently I can't do that. Now I want to use my Playbook to control the PowerPoint on my laptop so that I can show it to clients. My laptop doesn't appear to have an HDMI port. Any solutions? (It has a port that looks like HDMI but one side is square instead of 45 degrees.

you need to check with the laptop maker and check if your laptop has hdmi otherwise wont be possible
