Laptop will charge and turn on, but the screen is white, how can i fix this?

can anyone help me????? my macbook pro will turn on and charge, but i can not get to the blue screen, all my laptop does is turn on and a gray screen comes up with the apple in the middle and a circle at the bottom of the page, but that is all it does. can someone please help me?

See if any of the following fix it.
Try logging out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and tap 'Sign Out' on the popup and then log back in.
If that doesn't fix it then try closing the iTunes store app via the phone's multitasking bar and see if it works properly when you open the app : double-click the home button to open the taskbar and then swipe or drag iTunes from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and the click the home button to close the taskbar.
A third thing to try is a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

My 2nd generation iPod nano screen is showing lines and I cannot see the whole menu. How can I fix this problem?

I believe that my wife disconnected the iPod nano (2nd Gen.) improperly and now the screen has a whole bunch of lines. I can see the screens moving when I move to the next screen. But it's just lines. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

well unfortunatley your warranty is over so the device is not covered, BUT sounds like you have interupting signals being sent from a stuck home button constantly being pressed and maybe even a digitizer problem (the touch screen). You can try to restore your ipod to your computer to see if it might be some kind of software related issue. Just restore to the last sync you have on iTunes. But FIRST...I would try to Reset your ipod.
Go to Settings>General>Reset> Reset all settings.

Would it help if I reloaded the Itunes (off an external HD) or downloaded it again from Itunes ?

I doubt it. For my updates, it has typically taken me many tries/retries. Like for you, the download would stop. and I would have to restart from the beginning. If you get a network timed out error try disabling the security software on your computer.

TS1538 I have a 1st generation iPod touch. It will not let me connect to the iTunes store. How can I fix this?

We were given this iPod touch from a friend. Here is what I have done so far. Reset it back to factor settings. Added my music. Set up the wifi through my home internet. And it keeps telling me that it cannot connect to iTunes. Don't know what else to do. Have tried to look on this community for answers and haven't found ones that I haven't tried yet. You make an appointment at the genius bar of your local Apple Store and get it serviced/replaced. You broke it. If you can't even force a reboot, there's nothing much more you can do.

I was thinking that you may need to reset the iPod Nano, outlined here How to reset iPod http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1320.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and Volume Down button simultaneously for at least eight seconds or until the Apple logo appears. You may need to repeat this step.
If the above step did not work, try connecting iPod to a power adapter and plug the power adapter into an electrical outlet, or connect iPod to your computer. Make sure the computer is turned on and isn't set to go to sleep. Try resetting the iPod while it is connected to power.
If that doesn't quite get the iPod going again, then it will need to be restored. Use this article to help with that Restoring iPod to factory settings http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1339.
