Large email size problem-Help me

Hello Friend,
We have 4 system with sharing internet broadband connection through 8 pin connector.my problem is large email size is not outgoing through outlook express. (Outlook express 6)More then 50 kb is not going. In this main system was large size eamil attached file is easily going and ftp file also uploaded. In Other 3 system is not outgoing email and ftp upload also is not working. Please help me and give some solution very urgently.

I'm very sorry, I can't help you at all with your FTP problems. Likely, i'll not be able to help you with your other problem, either. I can't tell what software you're using, or even if SunJavaEnterprise Messaging Server is involved at all.
I suspect that you are having some kind of timeout/network problem. I have no idea what your "8 pin connector" means, nor what else you're doing. I'd be calling your ISP first, for their help.

  • Large flash size problem

In China, I found that an animation-like flash in 2MB on our
website takes more than one minutes to download to clients' PCs.
Users have to wait until the download of the whole flash program
complete. Could we cut/split the flash into smaller segments such
that we can start playing the first segment while the download of
    remaining segments is in progress?
If yes, how can we do it while keeping the animation runs
    smoothly without client's intervention?
Thank you for your help :)
    Best regards
    Wilson

    Hey
Wilson... it loads fine to me. So I'm not sure I know what
you're asking... but if I understand it, what I would do it have
the timeline start loading in movies as it plays. So say the entire
film is 100 frames. Have the first part be just 10 frames, and at
frame 5 have it start loading in the movie that will take-over at
frame 10 to 20... then at 25 have it load 30 to 40... and so on and
so on. Have them loaded in the background of the movie, so the main
movie is on level 3, the loaded movies are on 2 underneath it. Then
at frame 10, 20, 30 etc it would call the level 2 to move up to
    level 3 and start playing.
    Does this make sense?
Another way to do it would be to use a pre-loader that can
start playing the movie after a certain amount has been loaded.
I hope this is what you're asking about... and hopefully it
    will help.

  • HOW DO I LOCK A LARGER FONT SIZE IN EMAIL

    Hi
Can anyone advise how I can lock in a larger Font Size when I am composing an email.
It comes up as normal size as standard and I can change size manualy but wondered if I can lock in a bigger size ?.
    Many thanks

Hi, I don't believe that you can. It always defaulst to Tahoma/Normal. Every time that you want to compose a reply you have to manually select the font and font size of your choice.
I've posted something along these same lines some time back and there was no positive answer provided and no response from BT to enable this to be a configurable setting.
BT supports response back to me with regards to problems with the new email service was that 'because it's a free service we are not obliged to fix any problems with it'.

  • How do I set up iPhoto '11 version 9.2.1 to send emails with medium/Large/actual size? I try sending photos to a publisher and iPhoto automatically shrinks them to about 40 kB.  Publisher needs between 0.5 and 7 MB.  My ISP has a limit of 12MB

How can I get to email photos at higher resolution?
My "iPhoto" or "Mail" automatically reduces photos to about 40 KB .
My photos, taken with a  common Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ20 include flora which I send to a publisher.
I am fairly new to my MacBook (Mac S X Version 10.6.8).  I have been using it for a year.
I found I could not successfully send Large or Full size photos.
A few days ago I downloaded a new version of iPhoto (iPhoto '11 version 9.2.1).
Again, although I get the option of choosing to send small/medium/large//full size photos, it actually only sends them as "Small" (ie about 40kb) which is useless to publish.  If I drag a picture onto the desktop (where my EXIF tells me it is full size) then attach it to an email by dragging, againg the sent email is at "small" size ~40KB).
My ISP (Westnet) tells me that their maximum accepted size is 12 MB.
I suspect that I have failed to set up iPhoto for this purpose.  (I am well into retirement but, although geriatric, did study University Physics about half a century ago)

  • Problems printing to large paper size

    Hi,
    Using Acrobat 9
In my work, I use different programs for floorplans and renderings. I send to my Customers the documents as PDF file , and usually the scaled floorplans are in  large paper size (22x34 or up)
With one of the CAD programs, all works fine with paper size up to size C,  but if I choose, for example, Ansi D, I see a screen "Creating Adobe PDF" but nothing happens, the bar doesn't move and the file is not printed / saved
I'd appreciate any idea to solve this issue
    TIA

There are a couple of things you can try; 1.) see if you have enough system memory to process the page ( it could be running out of system memory ); 2.) set an invisible holding line to the page / document and lock it ( no stroke, no fill @ 13 x 19 ); 3.)  Use the Page tool ( if you haven't already ) and set it to the document, edge-to-edge.  Also, check you ink supplies, there may be an empty cartridge preventing you from printing the entire file.  Hope this helps.

  • When dragging an image onto a fresh canvas, the resizing feature presnaps the image into the canvas size. I can confirm that this has not happened to me in previous projects. I've also tested this problem by making a new larger document size and dragging

Contexts: I am very competent with GFX and have worked on many projects.
When dragging an image onto a fresh canvas, the resizing feature presnaps the image into the canvas size. I can confirm that this has not happened to me in previous projects. I've also tested this problem by making a new larger document size and dragging in the same render. It snaps again. I don't want to re-size from the canvas dimensions, I want to resize from the render's original dimensions.

  • Help needed exporting large image sizes

    Hi All,
I'm a newbie so forgive my lack of understanding here when it comes to exporting to large file sizes. In short I'm trying to export some images for large format printing but am having trouble preparing the right size in LR4.
Specifically I'm trying to produce w 30" x h 20" images. I understand that to do this I'll need a image that is 9000 x 6000 pixels set at 300 ppi. My problem is that when I export this, with the dimensions set to width and height in pixels and resize unchecked LR4 produces an image that is 9000 x 4887?
Would appreciate any thoughts on what i'm doing wrong here? Is it simply that the aspect ratio of image is wrong to produce this size image? My concern is not producing an exact file size for printing.
    Thanks!
    Tom

I've sorted the crop ration for a 3:2 image but resulting in a much smaller image.
Could you give me the details? How much smaller? What size is it? What else did you change other than the aspect ratio?
I then then tried a 16:9 ratio which is much better
Details please? What is better? (And why try this if you need 3:2??)
seem to have run into a similar prob in that calculations say for a 40 x 20 I'll need 6,000 x 12,000 but lr4 will only ouutput 6,000 by 10,667.
You are repeating your initial mistake. Images cropped to 16:9 aspect ratio cannot export to a 3:2 aspect ratio. Only images cropped to a 3:2 aspect ratio will export to a 3:2 aspect ratio.

  • Iphone and email problems - help please!

I have a few questions about email on the iphone I wondered if someone could help me with?

    2. Sometimes I open my email and its fine but when I go back and try and open an email I have previously read it says "This message has not been dowloaded from the server". How do I get the email to stay there?

  • Size problem with Email sent from SAP

    Hi everyone,
All our layouts today were developed with sap script
We started to send them by mail, using the standard way.
in the process they are converted to PDF format from OTF, because of this activity the size of the mail that I am getting is 1 Mega where as the source is only 300K (approximately).
We are already flagged the option of compressing.
As we see now we don't have any option to make the email to be smaller.
Is someone already encountered this problem? What option do I have? (Except of developing the layout again in Adobe)
    Thanks allot

    First thanks
Sayali Paradkar , we used in the past this function module, but it was even worse.
We started to use the standard process of sending mail.
As we understand the program of converting OTF format to PDF cause the size problem.
And its define to send PDF out of the SAP, also we are using SAP definitions to compress all files :nSE38 -> RSTXPDF3 -> option FLATE_COMPR_OFF = OFF
But still the mails are very big,
    Thanks again

  • Web Flash Gallery: Problem setting Large Images size

When using the Lightroom Flash Gallery I am not able to change the size of the Large Images (Web | Appearance | Large Images | Size). When I set the size to Medium or Small, the large images always ends up with the same size as when set to Large. Only when setting the size to Extra Large there is a slight change in size.
How can I change the Large Images size to Medium and Small?

  • Email app has failed. Copies of large email are being continually generated.

Since trying to send out a large email ~40Mb, too large in fact, my email application no longer works. I keep getting socket 993 errors. Copies of the email appear in various email folders, and keep duplicating themselves, seems this is a failsafe to help me not lose them when they fail to send but it just compounds the problems. And I can't seem to get rid of them. Whole computer is now running more slowly, seemingly because of all this. Email still working fine on Imac and smartphone.

Have now found answer by spending hours researching and playng around with settings. Why Apple does not just put everything back in an App like Mail and then tell you how to opt out I'll never know.? It seems that we are all expected to spend our lives sussing out what has been tampered with, whereas if Apple left things as they were when creating a new oerating system that is far less hours than millions of us having to do it for them on every single computer.
In Mail  'View> Colums > Size.
You have to do this clicked onto Inbox and then again in sent to get it in both.

  • Large Email Issues

I use Outlook, works fine except large emails.   If I receive an email (200-400K) from someone, it take hours to receive it.  Outlook just keeps chugging along...   Other emails just back up in queue behind it.   I stop Outlook, go to the web interface in Verizon and delete the big message, then restart Outlook.  Email messages (10K, 60K, 70K in size) are received within a minute.   Last test I received 10 messages that totaled around 200K, they all came in fine.   Appears big messages get stuck?    I can send emails with 1-2MB attachments, but if I try to send 3-4MB messages they act the same as the receive problem, they get stuck....  Outlook will try for hours to upload them....  Outlook settings are all correct.  I tried this on two different machines, same DSL line, problem is the same on both.  Appears to be line / account with Verizon.   Internet connection seems to be fine.   Can someone point me in the right direction / help?

    Check your Virus scanner.
I sometimes have the same problem and its the virus scan that holds it up. To make sure I turned off the virus scanner, then the emails came in fine. then once they were downloaded I then manually ran the virus scan on them to make sure that they were OK. But on large emails for some reason the Email scanner on my AV just kept it bottled up.

  • What's the email size that is received by default on iPhone?

    Hi,
unfortunately Apple removed my previous thread as it was considered as a feature request. However, Allan Sampson provided some information about how the iPhone handles mail size with Exchange ActiveSync so the Thread actually turned into a discussion.
Allan, if you read this, did you read my additional questions regarding your reply? You said, that when an email is sent to the iPhone, only the headers (subject, sender and, if turned on, preview lines) are received and the body only gets downloaded when the message is opened by the user. I still did not understand whether you meant that this is already the case in 2.2.1 or if this changed from 2.2.1 and is only available in 3.0.
I also wrote that I tested this with 2.2.1 by sending several mails to the iPhone, then turned on plane mode and opened the mails. Even with plane mode on, I could see that the body of the mails was received by the iPhone as well. This means that not only the headers are received by default, but also some of the message's body content. At least when the mail was below 50KB, messages larger then 50KB could not be viewed and I got the message "This message has not been downloaded" instead. This however means that 50KB were always received by the iPhone and not only the headers...running 100 mails a day with 50KB each could result in really high costs when using data roaming in other countries. Users in business really need a chance to choose which messages should actually be downloaded and which not.
Could you perhaps confirm whether this has changed from 2.2.1 to 3.0 or what you actually meant with saying "This is now supported by the iPhone" (in reply to my question whether it's possible to set the maximum email size received by the iPhone)?
Or, if anyone else knows the way the iPhone handels this, I would really appreciate any information.
    Thanks
    Michael

    paulcb wrote:
It looks like you've figured it out for the current version (2.2.1)... it downloads 50k before asking for more.
    Thanks for your reply.
Well, the whole test actually turned out a little confusing, as in a later test the same messages were delivered even though they were larger than 50KB (tested with text emails at 130KB). I still don't understand these results. Anyway, 50KB is to much when using data roaming in other countries. I definitely don't wanna pay a lot of money for usless information (like newsletters and so on) when being abroad. It absolutely would help when only headers were received in the first place and the body gets downloaded when the messages is opened by the user.
Maybe Allan reads this post too and knows whether this has been changed in 3.0.

  • Video Stalls - Larger File Size

Just downloaded Battlestar Galactica season 2 and the video stalls at full screen. Do not have this problem with previous Battlestar Galactica shows and movies that I have downloaded in the past.
I notice the File Size and Total Bit Rate of the new shows are three times greater in size than the shows I've downloaded in the past.
Using the utility ativity monitor, I notice I'm maxing out my CPU when I go to full screen which I think is causing my video stall.
I also notice that now my previous TV show downloads don't fully fill my screen like that did before the new downloads.
I hope someone might know how I can get my TV shows back to working normal at full screen and why the new TV shows file sizes are larger than before.
    Thanks for Your Help

I also went to my Energy Saver section in System Prefrences and found my Optimize Energy Settings was set for Presentations. I changed it to Highest Performance which resolved the issue.

  • BIP bursting large document size files.

We have BIP and we are running FSG's and bursting them to BIP standalone product. Our files are large and when we process a 500 meg file, the tag on the xml file get removed. Is there away to burst large reports without this happening? Or what is the size limit. We are currently creating 10 reports with different sizes to get the information from EBS to BIP.
Any help with will be appreciated.
    Thanks

    Thanks for your response.
Apologies, I've not explained myself well here. The majority of the information within the large pdf has come from word files although not all of it. There are also visio drawings and AutoCAD drawings. Generally with the AutoCAD drawings, I receive them already pdf'd and it is I suspect these which cause the large file size (they often contain OS mapping data or ECW files). I guess this explains the main reason I used pdf in the first place, it's software that can convert many diffferent file types into the same format, like in this instance. Unfortunately I am unable to post an example as the information relates to a government agency and the content may be deemed sensitive.
The large file is essentially an electronic version of a suite of 6 hardcopy ringbinders. The obvious answer is to break down the document into smaller files (i.e. one for each volume of the suite). The problem here is that there are links within the file whereby references to other volumes are linked, taking the user straight to the section referred to. If I break the large file down I will lose this functionality, unless there is a way to link to a specific section of another document? If so, please enlighten me how this works.
Hopefully I've explained things a little better now but whether my explanation helps find a solution I don't know.
