Large FCPX XML won't load in Logic Pro X?

I have a feature film edited in Final Cut Pro X and when I export the XML and try to load it in Logic Pro X 10.0.6 nothing happens. If I have a more basic XML, it works fine. Is this a bug or is there some sort of limit in Logic that I don't know about? Thanks!

Did you get to chance to manage it. I still could not find out what it is. I deleted LPX and reinstall it , still it does not work.
I reset the preferences on both application and nothing happens.
please let me know if you find out any solution. and I will do the same.

Edge Inspect desktop has no UI and only Inspect icon will be visible in the menu bar. Also, you need to be logged in with Adobe ID in the app.

XML from FCP X 10.1.4 won't open in Logic Pro X 10.1.1?

Hi, I've exported an XML of an edited project in FCP X (10.1.4) and am trying to import this to Logic Pro X 10.1.1. I have looked at various tutorials online and also searched through documentation and other support forums, and cannot find a mention of this issue.
I've created (and tried to re-create to see if this was the problem) a FCPX XML export. Then I've tried to use the import command in logic and also just right-clicking the XML file and telling it to open in logic. The program shows a progress bar, this ends after a few seconds, and then absolutely nothing has been imported. I've been hunting for a solution for a few hours, but would love some help to get this to work! Because the right-click option gave me a choice, I've also tried opening the xml file in Logic 10.0.7, which didn't work either.
I am running 10.9.5. Upgrading to Yosemite is about the only thing I can think of to try and see if that helps.

I'm on latest version of OS X, FCPX, LPX and FCPXML export ingests into LPX just fine.

Wbs modeler won't load visio 2013 pro/office 365

I've installed WBS Modeler add-in onto my Win 7/Visio 2013 Pro/Office 365 laptop, but the Modeler won't load. When I start Visio and check the addins, the WBS Modeler shows up as an Inactive Application Add-In. When I check the COM add-ins, the
add-in shows up in the list, however the Load Behavior is: "Not loaded. A runtime error occurred during the loading of the COM Add-in.". The location looks messed up too. It is: "C:Program Files (x86)\Visio Add-In for WBS Modeler\\WBSModeler.vsto|vstolocal".
I've uninstalled/reinstalled/repaired several times -- all with the same behavior.

There is a similar issue, it says that we can use the 32-bit WBS modeler to run on PC. I faced the same issue using the 64 bit install, but the 32 bit version works well on 64 bit Visio

I reproduce on my PC, the 32-bit WBS modeler works normally on 64-bit Visio.

Wha?? Garageband '08 projects won't open in Logic Pro 7.2.3!!!

I'm upset. I like starting recording projects using Garageband and then opening them up in Logic for more power after the rough arrangements are done. Just upgraded to iLife 08 and recorded a new tune using Garageband 08 and when I try to open the song in Logic is says: "Sorry - can't load this song because it is created by a newer Logic Pro version - Please update Logic Pro!"
Anyone aware of this? Any updates I'm not seeing?

GB 08 uses a .caf (?) for audio files/loops and not what has been used previously.
So maybe we are waiting for Logic 08 to be able to use this audio format.
Apparently the .caf file is something from soundtrack pro and it is a wrapper for all types of audio files.
Just going off the top of my head abut what I have read, so this may be slightly off target but I think that is the gist of it.

Waves 9 won't work with logic pro x

I downloaded waves v9 but it still won't show up on my Logic Pro. It is a 64 bit polgin

If... you have updated to the latest version of Waves 9
and...
You have correctly installed/activated/validated them using the Waves License Center and the Waves AU Reg Utility (That you must run after installing the updates..) then they work pretty good with Logic. I know.. I use them on a daily basis... No magic... no special tricks...
The Waves plugins themselves still have a few bugs in them which is why Waves keeps updating them..(There have been several updates to Waves 9 since release across all platforms and not just OS X...) but it isn't anything to do with Logic... Its programming bugs in the Waves plugins themselves that cause the remaining issues..
So.. if you cannot get them to work properly, contact Waves support for assistance...

Why won't my Mac & Logic Pro detect my input device(s)?

I'm using a macbook with OSX 10.8.2 and Logic Pro with a steinberg interface. I have also tried a tascam interface that was given to me by a friend to try, but I still have the same problem:
Logic doesnt detect either of the interfaces, and neither does my mac. However both interfaces detect the computer as indicated by their LEDs. I can switch on things like phantom power on the interfaces themselves, so the connection is live, but neither the computer nor the program can see them.
I have used this exact setup in the past, but it's been over a year since I used logic and now I'm out of practice and just stumped.
Any help?

Alright.., I will try this and hope i´ll do it right. My (a little older ) MacBook Pro has the same problem, it just wont shut down. Things works kind of fine until I shall shut it down, cause then the wheel will spin and spin and spin (and it goes to sleep still spinning), so it must be some corrupted files or app that is stuck. I just bought MacOs10.6.3 to reinstall or recover the harddrive, but I´ve never done these things on a Mac before. I have formated in Windows alright, but I am worried about the drivers, I dont know how to back them up! ??? Where do I find them? I hope I dont have to wipe the disc out fully, that it helps with just some cleaning up. I will come back after my "operation".. please wish me good luck! I really dont want it to crash completely.. "Grab" didn't get the color (blue) right - it appears gray in the grab - but I assure you it is in the proper place - all the other info is correct. I didn't grab the file size or the date (251.8 MB - 2/11/10)
Yes, I should have mentioned this also - to save you the trouble. I guess this was a fix for others, but not in this case.
It is in my Applications Folder - not at root level - nor in a subfolder.
Its name is the same that Apple gave it when installed. "Logic Pro 9.0.2.app"
As that is not the problem, is there anyway to get Apple Support to write a support ticket on this?

Logic Remote won´t connect to Logic Pro X

I can´t get Logic Remote to connect to my Logic Pro X. I have no control surfaces installed and I see the MacBook Pro in Logic Remote. I have no firewall on.
I never get any option to accept the Logic Remote on the computer. I have Yosemite Beta 10.10 running and iOS 8 on my iPad.
Any ideas?

Clue: Beta............. It could simply be that currently the beta of 10.10 isn't working correctly with iOS 8 and Logic Remote (yet)....
That's why you shouldn't run beta versions of software/OSs if you need a stable setup to work with....

Did you mean that or did you actually mean "I cannot see........" ?
If the latter is true, what WiFi Router are you using?
Several non Apple routers are known to cause this because they have incorrect or auto port blocking enabled and you need to turn this off in the router's settings..
if you are using an Apple Extreme or Express then let us know...

Xml won't load in player

i made a flash music player for my server
the player works perfectly and loads the xml data when viewed
on my computer
and even when it has been uploaded to the server IF i view it
by itself
but once i try and view my HTML file, all of the information
for the songs
comes up as undefined, so none of the songs will play
does anyone know what might be wrong or do you need more
information?

The default url inside the Flash movie is the url of the
HTML. So if you are using the relative path of the swf you will
find a problem.
Test the _url property for AS 2 F8
Or just hard code the
http://your.domain.com/pathtoXML/thedata.xml
into the Flash movie to debug.
The other issue is if the XML file is on another
domain.

XML won't load from server, loads locally

I can't seem to get my project to load my XML file when I
place everything on the server. It works fine when i preview it
using the Flash Player. But when it's loaded into an HTML page on
the server I get nothing. I'm using jquery to dynamically insert
the flash object into the page (In development
here.). The flash object is
actually several folders deeper than the page calling it, and the
XML file is being referenced at the same level as the flash file
itself. I also went through the trouble of putting a
crossdomain.xml file on the server (plu.edu) but that didn't seem
to fix anything.

Thanks to everyone who responded to this post. For anyone
else reading this post trying to get XML to load correctly, my
problem was pertaining to the path of the XML file. To remedy this
issue I set a default path that was relative to the .swf file. Then
I used flashvars in the javascript to pass the location of the XML
file. This allows me to preview my flex application locally and in
a production environment when it's inserted into a page. I'll post
my flex and javascript code for anyone interested. I'm using jquery
and the flash plugin.

FCPX Trial Won't Load Properly

I've downloaded the free trial of FCPX. I have a late-2008 iMac running Lion with 4GB of RAM and a 3.06 GHz Core 2 Duo (so I'm pretty sure I meet the requrements, no?). For some bizarre reason, the app always hangs on "restoring the window layout". Clicking on the app's icon when this happens brings this up:
Going into fullscreen half-solves the problem. I can interact with the UI (even import footage!) but the loading screen is STILL there and the UI is definitely glitchy:
I've tried going through the "basic troubleshooting" steps they have, but none of the preference or recepit files mentioned in the document even exist. I updated everything there was to be updated. I've even deleted, re-downloaded, and re-installed it. What the heck is going on?

Web pages won't load when MacBook Pro on battery power

My sister bought a MacBook Pro in January. She switched from a Dell laptop. Everything was great until a few weeks ago. When she would be on battery power, she would have a hard time getting websites to load with Safari. I suggested she use Firefox and see if it made a difference. It didn't.
She can try to open a webpage and it will try to load for a long time (3-5 minutes). If she plugs in the power adapter, the page loads immediately. She still has her Dell laptop and the same websites load with no problem when using the Dell on battery.
I told her to call Apple since she has Applecare. Apple sent her a new battery even though they told her they didn't think it was that. It didn't make any difference. They told her it was her internet connection, but it works fine if the MacBook Pro is hooked up to the power adapter and her Dell laptop loads internet pages without any problem while on battery power. Then they tried to tell her just to use the power adapter all the time. She told them if she wanted to be tied down to a power adapter she would have bought a desktop. (Not a very good comment by Apple in my opinion.)
She doesn't live close to an Apple Store to take it in.
This is just the weirdest thing I have ever heard of. All of her other applications (Office, Photoshop, iTunes, etc.) run just fine on battery power. It is just the internet. At first I thought it might just be secure sites, like banking, but she couldn't get MacNN or Versiontracker to load while on battery power.
Does anyone have any ideas?

You'll probably find an Airport aerial issue. Does she find that Airport reception (a better guide is shown in Internet Connect) will drop dramatically when she disconnects power? If so contact AppleCare again and give them this information under the same case number she wuold have gotten when they replaced the battery.
