Large HD video does not want to sync to PC from my...

Hi.
I took a long HD video (29min) with my N8 of my daughter's school play. It plays fine on the N8 itself by when I want to copy it to my PC with Nokia Suite it says an error occurred. There is enough diskspace on the PC, but still no luck after various attempts.
How can I get the video file to my PC? Any ideas.

Have you tried setting your phone as mass storage?
Menu > Settings > Conectivity > USB > Set as "Mass storage" > Connect your phone to your PC > go to computer/My computer > try copy/paste the video from there.

If you're running Windows, try closing iTunes, then right-click on the iTunes icon and choose Run as Administrator. Then try synching again.

What do yo mean it does not want to sync?
Are you trying to say it does sync with one computer but not with another????? If so, this is by design. All iDevices are designed to sync with one and only one computer.

Q10 Calendar does not want to sync with computer (post operating software update)

I have had my Q10 for close to a year and my calendar has always synced properly. In the last days it no longer wants to sync with a message "Sync was unsuccessful - Failed to commit changes to device". I recently upgraded the operating system to the latest version and I'm wondering if this caused the issue reloaded Blackberry Link as well. All the previous setup is the same. However, when I go to the Configure Calendar page, it indicates "Calendar (This computer only) and I am not able to modify it or delete it This is the correct folder none the less.
I thank you in advance for any help or advice on how I can solve this.

I would highly recommend uploading your calendar to an email/cloud service like Outlook.com and then adding the account to the Q10. The calendar items will sync nicely between the device and Outlook.com. Additionally, you will be able to have that data on whatever device you use, or multiple devices. I made this move a while back and couldn't be happier.

Photo's and apps does not want to sync from iPhone to Windows.

I have a I an iPhone 5 with iOS 7.1.1. My problem is that none of my photo's or apps on my phone wants to sync to my computer. I have some of the photo's on my computer, but since I upgraded to iOS 7 nothing wants to sync anymore. Could someone please help. Thanks.

Sign out of iCloud Control Panel on your computer, restart the machine, then sign back in. Your photos should start syncing shortly.

IPod Nano does not want to sync anymore. It gives an error -48

I am getting the following error message when I connect my ipod nano to my windows pc.
The I pod "my name´s Pod cannot be synced. An unknowned error occurred (-48)
Windows- Corrupt file
The file or directory \Pod_Control\Speakable\PLSS001D\F8C37FB12374941D.WAV is corrupt and unreadable.Please run the Chkdsk utility
This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere.

Are you using the latest version of iTunes? One of the bug fixes for the latest version - +"Addresses issues with converting songs to 128 kbps AAC while syncing"+
It appears from your post that the WAV file you were trying to sync is corrupted.

Are both using the same email address for Contacts?
Settings---> Mail, Contacts, Calendars---> Accounts (select the account that you have Contacts clicked on)
Then on the MBP, make sure that the Contacts is using the same email address. Idk where to go for that at the moment.
This doesn't have to be your AppleID. But they both have to match.

The CFINPUT TYPE=DATEFIELD does not want to accept the date from the database

I got a weird problem which I guess can be just a way to
explain to the server how to interpret the value. I am using
ColdFusion 8 with SQL 2005 Express. In my table, the field is a
DATETIME field and shows the date with time (eg. 2007-07-23
00:00:00).
In my form, when I am adding using the DATEFIELD as the type
for CFINPUT, it records the date correctly. But when I use the
EDIT.cfm form and try to put the value from the database into the
DATEFIELD CFINPUT, the server generate an error. Here is the error:
2007-07-23 00:00:00/0 is an invalid date or time string.
Of course, I tried many things but mostly I tried to force
the format of the date with DATEFORMAT(qGetNewsInfos.dtIssued,
'mm/dd/yyyy') and many more format but without success.
Is anybody know the trick how to use a date into a
<CFINPUT TYPE=DATEFIELD>?

TS4118 My icloud does not want to back up from my Ipad

I have updated my Ipad to 5.0.1, registered with icloud but my documents from my Pages does not want to sync with icloud at all. Nothing is visible on my icloud account when I log in online.
Everything has been checked again and again. I have also registered icloud with my iMac. Not so sure what could be the problem.

To effectively transfer ownership of the iPhone requires that it be "restored" as a new device.

The iPhone is not a backup device. Your computer backs up the iPhone, not the other way around. What you use to back up your computer is up to you - Macs use Time Machine. I assume PCs use something similar.
If her PC backup is dead you will have difficulty extracting content from the iPhone since it is not designed to work that way.
All her Apple purchases can easily be transferred to another iPhone. However, her contacts will be gone, as will any music or other contact obtained from sources other than Apple.
There are a number of third party utilities that claim to be able to extract content from an iPhone. See wjosten's procedure here:

Video does not work in iOS 8.3

I have the iPhone 6 128GB. I did update to iOS 8.3.
I have some problems after the update... video does not work, it wont play, i can click on the play button but nothing happens.
The problem ocurs in safari when i visit news sites and try to play video in articles.
When i get snapchat with video... it wont play, it is only black screen with the seconds counting down... and some times it just craches the snap app...
I cant watch videos in instagram or facebook...
I live in Norway and I think it is stupid that Apple still has not fixed the keyboard... the "123" key and the "globe" key swithc place with each other in portrait and landscape mode... why...!?! ( this is when i use Norwegian keyboard )

Here is the strangest thing, what works for you does not necessarily help other. I rebooted my phone several times, and yes, youtube finally worked, but only for some hours then it did not work. I did quit all Apps and rebooted with home and power button pressed inn until apple logo appeared and disappeared again, i had to press power to start the phone. I repeated this step. Now the videos where playing in all apps. The next morning i did get a snap on my iPhone, i tried to see it, but it was only black screen with text and a clock counted down to 0, but it stopped on 1... and the app froze.
I dubble clicked the home button, and there where 25 active apps, apps that i had not used for days and note... i manually quitted all apps the day before... how did this apps appear again ? The Apps that where terminated do appear again after reboot... i don't know why, i have still trouble to see video. I hope for a fix from Apple, because i have so much i don't want to loose in my phone.

The video does not work in the itunes store. I get no picture, only sound when i want to preview a music video or a movie trailer. No video at all. However, i can watch my movies and music videos that i already own. Please, is there any smart guy who knows a solution?

I'm having this same issue. I tried some things but still couldn't get it to work the way it used too.
It will not play the video portion in iTunes only the audio if I click on the song. If I switch the settings from Music Video to TV show in the info tab, the file plays fine. If I open it in Quicktime, the file plays fine.
I've tried changing the preferences so that the video will play in the iTunes window, in a separate window, etc. and all it plays is the audio and will show the artwork instead of playing the video.
