Large pictures viewable in Safari?

Hi i am new to Safari and am doing some casting and I am opening large files for head shots in Safari, how can I see the whole picture in the browser? is there an easy way to reduce the picture to the size of the windo?

This is the first Time it makes this for me. Each page I open is empty of picture. Only ads are visible

I used an index template .dwt and inserted a logo header image.
Using Browser lab it renders in Safari but not in Firefox 3.0 for both OS/Windows, IE 7&8, and Chrome.
     Using FILE-->VIEW IN BROWSER, which is Safari it is fine.
          A friend used FIrefox and IE7 and the image did not show or same results as Browser Lab.

I'm troubled by these answers because they seem to further muddy the water. Here's the important concept -
All links in the TEMPLATE file should be one of three kinds -
1. Relative to the template file, e.g.,
<a href="../ (meaning that you must go up one level from the template folder
to reach the root of the site, hence all other files, since none of them
should be in the templates folder)
2. Relative to the site root, e.g.,
<a href="/ (meaning that one would begin looking for the linked file at the
root of the site and follow the pathing from that point)
3. Absolute, e.g.,
<a href="http:// (meaning that the link is to a page external to the site).
Seems that none of the suggestions are putting you on that path first.

I am shooting with a Nikon D60 on Fine Format and unable to print larger than 11x14. I have been able to print larger pictures. I am told iPhoto reduces the size of the file when uploaded. Is this true? If so how can I change this? I need 16x20's

Large Pictures in Mail Drop Turn Into Small Thumbnails (Exchange Server)

When using Mail Drop through Mac Mail, large pictures (>20MB total) are converted to thumbnails with no link to the original file. This happens when I choose to use Mail Drop for the attachments.
The large picture also shows in my sent email as a thumbnail with no link.
If I go to my iDevices, I see that I am given the option to download the original large file(s) and it works. But not on my Mac using the native Mail App.
If I send a large video it does work properly.

I'm running Entourage 2008, and after successfully connecting to the exchange mail server, it will occasionally simply drop the connection (reads: not connected). Once this happens, even restarting Entourage doesn't ask me to log-in again until the mysterious issue resolves itself. Sometimes only a few minutes, but it can occasionally last an hour or two!
Did you ever get an answer to this? My wife's office is experiencing the same (or similar) problem that Entourage disconnects from the Exchange server, with no error, no message, and mail just sits in the outbox, waiting to go out. Would love to see if anyone has suggestions.

PSE 10 will not edit large picture files after it accepts them. After editing it either changes jpeg to psd or greys out the file. What must I do?

PSE 10 allows large picture files into the organizer and editor but after editing, saving, and closing, the jpeg returns to the organizer either with a psd file extension or as a greyed out broken photo icon . Why does it cause users to waste time editing files that are too large. How do I solve the problem?

Cannot send large pictures mms/iMessage for 1 week now

For over a week now I had problems sending pictures, I had my iPhone for about 3 months (iPhone 4s) and it worked fine before. After doing some testing of my own I came to the conclusion that large pictures, for example taken with the iPhone camera, will not go through when I send MMS or iMessage, small pictures that works fine. I get a red ! and the issue remains when i try resend. However even when small pictures go through it takes a very long time for it to send.
(The same issue occurs when trying to upload photos on Facebook or Instagram, camrea photos will not upload).
I tried the following:
Send with wifif - work fine then
Restart phone, holding both buttons
Ensure i have the latest updates
Phone memory is half full
Restart and reinstall apps - isse remains
Checked ALL setting - they are correct
MMS is on
Data Roaming is on
Turned on and of Facetime
Log out and in on iMessage
Reset MMS settings
Total reset of my iPhone
Called my carrier, they said there are no issues from their side
At this point I am desperate, I have Googled, searched in several communities and tried everything I found. My conclusion is that my iPhone stoped compress pictures? If so how do I change it back?!

How can I take pictures of my Safari screen?

I am needing to send pictures of my Safari screen to my employer to resolve some other issues. How do I take pictures of the various screens that I need to bring up and then send the pictures off to my employer?

You would use the OS X built-in screen shot facility.
To do it with Safari, press command-shift-4 and then hit space bar and the cursor will change to a camera icon. Hover over Safari (the window will turn blue) and then click. You'll get a screen shot on your desktop. You can drag the screen shot to Mail and email it.
Aperture need not be involved in this at all.

App for larger picture ID for OUTSIDE of phone?

I downloaded an App from Blackberry App World named "larger picture id's" thinking my contacts picture id's, when they call or text, would be bigger for the outside of the phone..but it only works if i keep my blackberry style phone open...is there an App available for this for my style?

I've seen picture ID for viewing picture on the main screen but haven't come across to any app that can display image in the tiny screen outside.

Large Picture Background

I have seen some great flash websites which have large pictures in the background. I am trying to get that effect, can this all done in flash? An example of what I mean can be found at the link below.

Iphone 5 help email crashing, pictures not loading, safari crashing, imessages not sending or receiving

Wondering if anyone has ever had the following problems and how to resolve them. e-mail app wont open, just crashes instantly, imessages and texts wont send or receive, pictures wont delete and are showing up all fuzzy, when i take a picture it shows up as a grey rectangle and not the actual captured image, never available memory despite having few pictures and only 2 apps and no music, Safari works for a few seconds then goes off by itself. Used to work if i switched my phone off and on but now nothings working, very frustrating, any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Basics right out of the user guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new.

Error message exporting large picture file from Aperture 3.5

Recently I took a large panaramic comprised of 165 pictures using Gigapan Epic Pro and stitched together using software provided with Gigapan. I exported the stitched file into Aperture to perform final edits. When I go to export the final version I keep getting an error message. The file size will be approximately 2.0 GB. I've been able to export a 0.7 GB file without problems (it did take several minutes). I have a late 2009 27" iMac with 3.3 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 16 GB memory. Any suggestions? Not sure if this is an Aperture problem or if my system is not up to the task. Below is the error mesage I receive. Thanks for your assistance.

Testing: Exporting a large TIFF - the original is 24512 × 23016 (564,2 MP), 1.05 GB
The exported file that I am seeing on my Desktop after 10 minutes, is showing this in the Preview:
But after exporting there was no message at - neither an error message nor the usual alert when finished "Export 1 version completed - Reveal ...".
So, I am not yet conviced that the export went well, but Aperture can export gigantic TIFFs.
What is the file format you have been using? My test was done with TIFF, 16 bit.

Can not open large pictures in iPhoto 5

Hi All!
I have problems with opening large files (6 - 11 Mb) in iPhoto 5.
I can see the pictures in the library when i choose small icons!
For example one of these pictures is 7,7Mb and the size is 3543 x 2917.
It doesn´t open in edit-mode and i is very bad quality in "browse-mode"
The pictures have to be so big because I want to order a book with hight quality pictures.
Please help me!

This indicates a disconnect between the Thumbnail and the original
this can be caused by two things
1 - User action deleting items from inside the iPhoto library - can be directly - can be from the All images list (never delete from there) - can be from running cleanup software like MacKeeer, CleanMac2 or other dangerous, defective software that improperly deletes or changes things in the iPhoto library - if you have done any of these things you must restore your backup from before you did them and damaged your iPhoto library - and I recommend getting rid of any "clean up software" ASAP (although being essentially MalWear it is not easy)
2 - corruption of the iPhoto library - If it is not #1 then Back up your iPhoto library, Depress and hold the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - repair permissions and then rebuild your database

Photos/Pictures viewd in Safari

Hey all,
I was just wondering if there is anyway of saving photos/pictures that you view in Safari to the iPhone so that you can use these as wallpaper? It seems silly to have to use a PC to download the picture and then synch to your iPhone when all the facilities are on the one device.
