  • HT201504 2015 Calendar font for the month in IPhote is too small.  How do I make it larger?

    I have created a 2015 calendar in IPhoto but the month is printed in a tiny font.  I can't make it larger. The 2014 calendar used a large font for the month.  How can I resolve this so can actually read the name of the month without my glasses?

    That was just a test.  It showed that your current library is damaged and needs repairing. Do the following to your current library:
    1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window. Be sure to follow the circled recommendation in the screenshot.
    2 - run Option #4, Rebuild Database.

    I have had my iPad2 for about ten days and have just two issues with it. I would like to use a larger font in Safari's bookmark menu because it is not detecting my touch easily especially around the left third of the menu bar. Secondly, I have my older Epson printer set up with my Airport Express for wireless printing and my iPad2 cannot find the printer. I saw that HP is the only manufacturer that is listed with compatible printers. Is anyone else using other printers for Airprint or will I need to buy an App for wireless printing through the iPad2?
    On the font size issue, I just pinch-zoom the text to make it larger.
    On the printer issue, you might try the following script to "jailbreak" non-HP printers so that they work with Airprint.

  • 5800 XM, Ovi Maps 3.03, larger fonts for street na...

    I have a 5800 XM with Ovi Maps v 3.03. Is it possible to make the street names larger in size? The street names are only 1 milimeter in height in both 2D and 3D view, regardless of zoom level. I am aware there is the street name you are currently on in the center top section in a larger font size, which definately helps, but it would be nice to have the larger fonts for surrounding streets.
    Also, is there a way to get rid of the white bar on the right side that houses the "search" and "menu" links? The 5800's screen is already small for GPS standards, and this white bar subtracts almost 1 cm of valuable screen real-estate. It would be nice to not have the white bar and have the "search" and "menu" links stay where they are, but perhaps have a white highlight around the letters or something like that.

    Enjoy...

  • HT2509 Hello I wonder if anyone knows how to find, download and install a suitable IPA (phonetics) font for the Mac Air? I need to be able to use a pop up window of fonts.

    Hello I wonder if anyone knows how to find, download and install a suitable IPA (phonetics) font for the MacBook  Air? I need to be able to use a pop up window of fonts.

    Unless you've done anything to change it, Google keeps every email that ever passes through their server in your All Mail folder/mailbox/label. Even if you delete stuff, they hold onto it, there. You have to go out of your way to actually delete anything permanently.

  • Is there any way I can get more fonts for the online photoshop?

    I know that this might sound a bit silly since I'm getting the services for free, but I was just curious if there was a way I could get more fonts for the online version. Maybe I'd be better off with the full program. Just curious! (:

    When you say online version, do you mean you are using the Creative Cloud trial?
    Photoshop accesses fonts on your computer, so all you have to do is purchase or download free ones from a fonts website.
    Here is a website with reasonably high quality free fonts: http://www.fontsquirrel.com/.
    Good luck!

    To change the default message font, use UIManager:   UIManager.put("OptionPane.messageFont",
          new Font("Lucida Console", Font.PLAIN, 12)); Per-instance, use HTML:   JOptionPane.showMessageDialog(
          "<html><font face='Lucida Console'>Your message here</font></html>");

  • Wallet app for the N70?

    Hi
    Is there any news on the development of a Nokia wallet application for the N70? V useful app on the 6680, mysteriously absent on the N70...
    Cameron

    Well if the built in wallet isn't going to make a comeback then its about time someone created a replacement that could be purchased that did the same things (and perhaps more). Like the fact that notes in the wallet are time and date stamped so u know when u made them. I've tried several of the wallet applications out there and none are very good.

  • Anyone know how to change the default font for the new pages? Apparently it does not even come up when I search the 'Help' section of Pages. The level of incompetence in this new version seems breathtaking

    I cannot find how to change the default font in the new Pages. It does not appear in the Help area when I search for it. I am never sing Helvetica for my standard documents and cannot seem to change it. What am I missing? And why does Pages help not have an easy answer?
    dan

    You open a blank template and change the font to you liking. Remember to also get all the styles changed with new font. Then Save As Template. Now you have a template with the font you like.

  • When I resize the font for the Page Labels on the tab control in LabVIEW 7, the Increment/Decrement size gets messed up. Is there a solution to this problem or is this a bug?

    I have noticed in LabVIEW 7.0 and 7.1 that when the text in the page labels display is enlarged, that the arrows enlarge but the top arrow enlarges more then the small arrow but then when you decrease the text size, the arrows stay remain large. This is not a problem in 6.1 because the arrows aren't available. Is there a work around for this bug or do I have to use small text for these page label arrows to look right?

    I must admit that I've never used the page labels display and it does look like a bug. You can fix it however. Select the tab control and choose Advanced>Customize. In the control editor, select the page label control and do the same thing. You should be in the control editor for the numeric control and then you can go to edit mode and enlarge the decrement arrow to make it the same size as the increment.

  • I need help on changing font for the subtitles in quicktime player

    Hi
    I am wondering if there is a way to change the font size for the Quicktime Player?
    I have no idea how I can do it, and this is greatly bothering me.
    If someone knows the step, may you please write the step by step process of how to change the font size?
    I will be really happy to know this
    Thnx.
    (P.s. - I also like pictures )

    They can only be changed by using an authoring app like QuickTime Player 7 Pro.

  • Listing fonts for the user

    I need to create a list of the fonts available on the user's system, so that they may pick one for their text.
    This seems simple enough, but I have been unable to do it in a way that matches native apps.
    There are two methods that I am working with:
    getAvailableFontFamilyNames()
    getAllFonts()both from the GraphicsEnvironment class.
    Using the list from getAllFonts() would be overkill, since it would include all the bold, italic and bold-italic versions of each font.
    Using the getAvailableFontFamilyNames() method returns a list that is very similar to that that I see in MS Word etc, and therefore it was my original choice.
    Unfortunately, a family can contain other fonts besides just bold and italic. For example the Berkeley family includes Berkeley Book. In native apps, this font is offered, but my app offers only Berkeley. According the documentation for the Font class A Font can have many faces, such as heavy, medium, oblique, gothic and regular. All of these faces have similar typographic design.
    So, how do you offer gothic to the user without listing every bold and italic version of the font?

    Why not just
    String[] fntAvlAry = java.awt.GraphicsEnvironment.getLocalGraphicsEnvironment().getAvailableFontFamilyNames();
    int lenAry = fntAvlAry.length;
    StringBuffer fntAvlBuf = new StringBuffer();
    for ( int i = 1 ; i < lenAry ; i++ ) {
         if ( fntAvlAry.indexOf('.') < 0 && fntAvlAry[i].toUpperCase().indexOf("BOLD") < 0 && fntAvlAry[i].toUpperCase().indexOf("ITALIC") < 0 ) {
    fntAvlBuf.append( fntAvlAry[i]+"," );
    String allFontsDelimByComa = fntAvlBuf.toString();

  • Teststand message box larger font for 95 years old

    Hi
    I am working with people > 90 yrs.
    the message pop up window occupied on top of the screen.
    How can I help them by changing the font and/or color of the message pop up.
    the real estate of the screen is there.
    message pop up dominates the screen, nothing else matters
    Please allow me to change the font for seniors with strained eyes.

    Hi trout00
    You have a couple different options for changing the font size of the message box. The first option is to change the native Windows message box settings. From Windows XP, right-click on your desktop and go to "Properties". Click on the "Appearance" tab in the Display Properties dialog box, and click on the "Advanced" button. In the Advanced Appearance dialog box, select "Message Box" from the "Item" drop-down menu. This will allow you to change the font of the message box text.
    Your other option is to use a custom step type. This KnowledgeBase has more information on this option, including a link to an example program.

    Have gone into settings but cannot find any place to enlarge fonts on Iphone

    Settings > General > Accessibility > Large Text.
    I should also add, you can pinch to zoom if you don't want to enlarge the font.
    The above post is incorrect.
