Laser jet pro m475 won't print through the wire

Hi laser jet pro 400 as just decided it's going to print anymore through the wire. Tried three different wires no good. It says not communicating with printer. Tried others computers and it the same.
Any ideas

Officejet pro 8620 won't print through RDP

We have a new OfficeJet Pro 8620 that we just set up in a remote office. The user connects via vpn and rdp to another desktop in our network. When we connect he cannot print. I installed the drivers on both the local and destination computer. The printer prints from both computers as well. But through RDP the print job gets sent to the local computer and drtops, and I get a Windows error 372, Print Service: "The document Remote Desktop Redirected Printer Doc, owned by xxx, failed to print on printer HP Officejet Pro 8620. Try to print the document again, or restart the print spooler.Data type: RAW. Size of the spool file in bytes: 285662. Number of bytes printed: 131072. Total number of pages in the document: 1. Number of pages printed: 0. Client computer: \\LOCAL_PC. Win32 error code returned by the print processor: 2147500037. Unspecified error I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and the printer on both the local and remote computers and that didn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

Office jet Pro 8500 won't print thru wireless network.

All of a sudden, my printer will not print anything from any of my devices. The print items just get backed up in the queue. The printer is connected to the router, all the test and configuration pages say it is fine and ready. I have windows 7.

OMG! I can't believe the fix was something so simple. I had installed a new router. Windows for some reason created a virtual printer with a Web Services Drive and port (which wasn't working or I do not know how to set it up correctly), and removed my "hard" printer. I simply went into Network, Add a Printer, it found the original hard printer, I added it, it removed the virtual WSD ports, and now everything is printing correctly again!

Can you please advise as to how I can print invitation style (4 3/8 x 5 2/4) envelopes on the Laser Jet Pro MFP M225dw? Also, if my template is set up for a horizontal mail merge configuration, how should the envelope be inserted into the printer?

I would like to assist you today with printing on envelopes with your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M225dw.
Please refer to the document below for step by step instructions on how to load envelopes in your printers paper tray:
Loading Plain Paper and Envelopes
Once you have your envelope loaded properly, open up the program that you want to print envelopes from. Because Word seems to be the standard program that people print envelopes from I'm going to provide you with the envelope printing instructions for that specific program. Should these steps not work for you, be sure to respond to this post with your Operating System and the program that you're printing from.

How to Print Envelopes from Word:
1. Open Word and click on Mailings at the top
2. Select 'Envelopes' from the top left hand side
3. An Envelopes and Labels page should now open. Enter your Delivery and Return Addresses.
4. Select 'Options' on the bottom right hand side.
5. Under the 'Envelope Options' tab ensure that your Envelope size is appropriately selected.
6. Select the 'Printing Options' tab at the top. You now need to select the appropriate Feed Method for your product.
7. Make sure that you choose the 'Face up' option.
8. Also ensure that 'Clockwise Rotation' is not selected.
9. Hit 'OK' and 'print'

My Laser Jet Pro CM1415fnw color - will not print ... will let me fax... then it goes to a screen like it is thinking ....the screen shows HP.... enerystar.... and a white bar on the bottom ...then it "initializing" and acts like it wants to print something. Help

Does the printer ever come to "ready" or Home screen? If it does not then i would recommend calling support and they may be able to help you with restoring the device to factory settings. If this is constantly occuring every time you boot you may want to try upgrading the fw to the latest version. Also if it is just showing "Calibrating" very frequently in the Embedded WebServer (EWS), navigate to IP if you have it, in the "System" , "Print quality", you can can change the calibration timers and see if that helps.

Laser Jet Pro CM1415fnw color will not print from eprint

Laser Jet Pro CM1415fnw color printer will print from laptop but not from email. Signal on printer has strong internet connection and so does computer. I tried to send a pic with my phone but it did not print.

I will need a little more info in order to help out. If you send the printer an ePrint of a text document, will it print that plan document? Also, if the picture that you are sending is less than 100 DPI (dot per inch) the printer will not print that because of the quality. You can send the picture to the computer, open it and the right click on it and look under “properties” and it will give you the DPI information. It is labeled vertical and horizontal resolution. Lastly, what type of phone do you have? What email client are you using to send the picture to the printer?

All in one HP Laser Jet Pro 200 Color MFP (M276n) stopped working

I have an HP Laser Jet Pro 200 Color MFP (M276n) that I had installed and woking fine.
I changed my desk and removed the USB from the computer and when I plugged it in again i could not print or use any of the functions through the computer. I'm running 64bit Win 7.
I've tried unistalling the printer and downloading the laster driver package from HP.com.
But when I try installing it and come to where the installationprogram want me to connect the USB-cabel the printer doesn't show up (I can't click "Next" to begin installtion).
So right know I cant print and I can't reinstall the printer.
How do I fix this??

Make sure the usb cable is plugged in properly, the right port at the back of the printer. If still doean't work, maybe get a new usb cable?

Hp office jet pro 8600 won't scan

Wirelessly connected office jet pro 8600 won't scan in windows. I've checked to make sure proper services are running and they are. Started running diagnostics utility and the driver didn't check out but I have the correct one installed and the printer works just fine. Occasionally a message pops up and says that the computer has lost connection with the scanner. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I can help you scan from your Officejet 8600 to your Windows operating system. It sounds like you have run the HP Print and Scan Doctor, is this whee you say the driver error?
I suggest using the following steps to delete the printer from device and printers, and the driver from the server properties.
1. In the ‘Devices and Printers’ folder
2. Choose ‘Print server properties’.
Win XP – With no printer selected, click ‘File’ then ‘Server Properties’.
Windows Vista – With no printer selected, press ‘Alt’ then click ‘File’ then ‘Server Properties’.
Windows 7/8 and 8.1 – Select any printer in the ‘Devices and Printers’ folder and click ‘Print Server properties’ above.
3. Click on the ‘Drivers’ tab at the top of ‘Print server properties’ window
4. Choose the printer you want to uninstall and click ‘Remove’
5. Choose 'Remove driver only'
6. The next screen will give a warning, letting you know that deleting the driver package will remove it from the system. Click ‘Yes’ to say that you are sure you want to do this.
If documents are stuck in the print spooler, you may see an error, cancel any documents pending in the print queue, or try restarting the print spooler, then try to remove the driver from ‘Print server properties’ again. If it still won’t remove the package, restarting the computer and the printer should resolve this ‘in use’ error and allow the driver to be removed.
After the driver is removed, open Start > All Programs > HP folder > Printer folder > HP Setup and Software (or the printer icon).
The Setup and software screen will open and you can click on Connect a new printer.

Laser jet pro 200 will not copy

Hi, I have had my laser jet pro 200 for at least 6 months and only used it as a printer. For the first time today I tried to copy something and I got a blank piece of paper. I tried the flat bed as well as the feeder and same result. Hopefully there is a setting I missed. Any thoughts?

Laser jet pro CM1415 will not send or receive faxes

I just bought a MAC OSX 10.9.5 and downloaded upgrades for my laser jet pro CM1415fnw printer plus the firmware upgrade from HP website. The printer will scan and print but will not fax. we are set up for wireless and I have spent the last 2 days trying to figure this out. The message says that no phone line detected. ??? This printer worked perfectly with my old MAC computer but is bing very obnoxious now.

I see that you are unable to fax with the new Mac using 10.9. I can help you with this.
Did you mean you downloaded and installed the Full Feature Software drivers?
HP LaserJet Pro CM1415 Color Multifunction Printer series Full Feature Software and Drivers.
Are you trying to send a fax from the Mac or from the printer's control panel?
If you can't fax from the Mac, try the following:
Check to see if the fax driver is installed.
Click the Apple menu, and then click System Preferences.
Click Printers & Scanners.
If not, the + sign.
Select the printer from the list.
Beside USE: make sure it lists the printer's name only/fax.
Click on the add button.
Check the driver name that is installed for the printer. Make sure it shows just the printer's name also.
If the full printer name isn't listed correctly, delete it and add the printer name back in from the list. Click the - sign to delete the driver and then click the + sign to add the driver, might have to click the drop down to select the printer's name to add it in.
Try faxing again.
If you can't Fax from the Printer, please try these steps:
Make sure you are using the 2 wire fax cable.
Run this test for the fax.
From the Home screen, touch the wrench button.
Touch the service button.
Touch the Fax service button.
Touch run fax test.
You should get 4 passes.
Turn the private receive off:
Go setup/fax setup menu/advanced setup/private receive/turn it off.
Turn off the error correction:
Go setup/service /fax service/error correction/turn it off.
Change the fax speed to medium:
Go to setup/fax setup /advanced setup/fax speed/change it to medium.
Clear the saved faxes:
Go to setup/service menu/fax service/clear saved faxes/OK to clear.
If you are still having issues, then please follow the steps in this document.
Cannot Send or Receive Faxes.
Can you fax from the printer?
Was the fax and printer driver both installed?
Were you able to fax from the Mac?
Please provide in detail the results if you are still having issues.

Error Code 79 on Laser Jet Pro 400

Have not had printer long...... Keeps giving message Error 79 it is a all in one Laser Jet Pro 400!!!!!!

I found and would like to share one of the root cause of the error in my network.It is caused by unsuccessful printing process of one or more computers in the network. I could have fixed the error 79 with the following few steps.
1.Turned off power of the Printer
2.Check and Remove printing process from every computer that can have access for the printer in the network.
3.In domain network, you cannot cancel the printing process check the owner in "See What's Printing" box
4.Then log in with that account and try to remove
5.If you cannot still cancel the printing process you have to remove and add the printer again.
After doing this steps on every computer, having access to the printer, in the network, you can switch on the printer and it should be working well.

Hey , Welcome to the HP Support Forum. I see that your HP LaserJet Pro MFP 127fn has ceased working from PC since performing a Windows 10 update. I would like to help you with this. My guess is that this loss of functionality can be attributed to the fact that no Windows 10 driver has been released for your 127fn. Having said that, I have had some success in reloading Windows 8.1 printer drivers on 10 setups. I recommend you try the following steps: Press the Windows key + r and type control panel in the box that pops up. Press Enter. Click on the Devices and Printers folder. If you see your 127fn in there, right-click on it and remove/delete the printer. Go back to the Control Panel. Click on the Programs and Features Folder (might appear as Apps and Features). Look for your printer's software and uninstall it. Once that's completed click here and install the 8.1-friendly driver for your printer. Follow the usual prompts to complete the setup. Please let me know the result of your troubleshooting by responding to this post. Hi,
Can you confirm that you have an Officejet 8500a or Officejet 8500? On the 8500a model, you can set the networks proxy address and port setting from the front panel of the printer (setup>Webservices setup>proxy). If you are unsure what your proxy settings are you'll need to contact your network admin. If your network uses a proxy users name and password for all devices, you need to enter this information along with the proxy address and port in the printers embedded web server. Type the products IP address into an internet brownser window (printer must be connected to the same network as PC). Select the network tab, and than look for the proxy settings option. Enter in the information and click apply. Once the networks proxy information has been correctly inputed into the embedded web server, try printing again. If unsuccessfully, you might try reinstalling the printer software after uninstalling it. Hope this helps!
