Follow steps 1 and 2 of this tutorial and you will be able to get a jpg file for each of your book's pages inported into iPhoto: 06 - Creating an iDVD Slideshow From an iPhoto Book.  If you don't have the Automator workflow Save PDF to iPhoto (which should be in the HD/Library/PDF Services folder) you can download it from Toad's Cellar.

  • Save As PDF no longer an option...

    Hi!
I recently purchased the Creative Suite (CS6 Standard for PC). I'm using Photoshop and have created a couple documents and haven't had a problem. I uploaded a file from one of my suppliers and now my ability to Save As a PDF is no longer an option. This is a huge problem. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Please help!
    Thanks!

Check your document color mode and bit depth.
Photoshop still saves as PDF, if you are in a color mode and bit depth that PDF supports.

  • Importing PDF and Photoshop files since using Windows 7 64bit

    Hi,
I recently upgraded (?) to Windows 7 64bit.  I have notices when importing PDF and photoshop files into the InDesign document, the resolution of the graphics are off and the lines are choppy.  Even the fonts are illegible.  What happened?  Are there some settings that I need to into and tweek to bring everything back into alignment and focus?  (If those are the correct words.)  When I view the PDF files in windows, they are normal.  It is only when imported into InDesign that they are distorted.
    Thank you for any help.
    Clark

I run Maximized, so the window fills the available space (you can set the shortcut properties to open that way so you don't have to do it each time), or you could resize the window from the top, then grabe the title bar and drag it upward on the screen. Windows should remember the size and position, but it may not, being Windows, after all.

  • LaserJet Pro Scans, prints test page but will not print from a file

I installed a LaserJet Pro200 MFP M276nw on my wife's Toshiba Satellite (Windows 7 64Bit OS) laptop yesterday (Printer is brand new out of the box). I installed with a wireless connection. It will print a test page and also scan wirelessly but will not print from a file i.e. a PDF. I installed it on my HP Probook this morning and it works fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The thought of paying Geek Squad 75 bucks rubs me the wrong way, especially since i just paid them 100 for an extended warranty. Thanks!

  • Windows 8.1: Scan to pdf with Epson WF 3520?

I previously ran an HP laptop and scanned multiple page documents to a single file in pdf format on Epson printers.
Recently I purchased a new laptop with Windows 8.1. Scanning to pdf no longer possible, and multiple sheets in the document feeder now emerge as individual png files. How can I get back to scanning to a single pdf?

    Hi,
Did you install the latest driver update? I found an FAQ at Epson official site that about Program Compatibility with Windows 8.1. You can take it as reference to upgrade printer driver:
The Program Compatibility Assistant window keeps appearing after I upgraded to Windows 8.1.

How to scan in a PDF format when the scanner is not showing that option in HP laserjet M1319f MFP printer when it has been installed in a new HP computer with Windows8pro operating system downloading it from HP website ad the Cd that came with the printer did not support this operating system

    Hello yagnya31,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I see you are trying to install and scan with the HP LaserJet M1319f MFP, but are not getting a .PDF option. Printing and scanning with the Windows 8 Operating System is described as basic. The .PDF file type should be available regardless, of the software being basic or full feature. Take a look at this HP document: How to Scan: Windows 8 to learn about the different ways to scan.
See if those methods of scanning gives you the .PDF file type.

    Hi,
You can open Adbe Acrobat and scan from there. You will get more control of the PDF files under Adobe  Acrobat product. Please also check driver from the following link:

  • I have an HP Laserjet M1319f MFP scanning problem

I have an HP Laserjet M1319f MFPand ever since I moved from Windows XP to window7 it won't give me the option to scan to PDF

Hi @DWD2444594 , I see by your post that you are no longer able to scan as a PDF after updating to Windows 7.
    I can help you.
I checked the drivers online for Windows 7.
They are HP LaserJet Hostbased Print/Scan Plug and Play Drivers. No additional software.
The Plug and Play Bundle provides EZInstall to assist with installation for direct USB connections and offers basic print and scan for all-in-one and multifunction devices.
The Windows scanning software doesn't have the feature for PDF scans.
You would have to use a Third Party Software for scanning by PDF.
I would just go to www.google.com and search for free scanning software for PDF in Windows 7.
There should be a lot of different ones available.
    Have a nice day!

  • HP Laserjet M1319f MFP scaner not scan continues pages.

Hi. I am using HP Laserjet M1319f MFP ALl in one printer & scanner software. Previously installed in windows 7, scanner function works, it will scan multiple docs in one pdf or one file. But now i have windows 8.1 installed. I have install the Printer / Scaneer software & firmware as suggested by HP site download. Print and scan working ok, but unable to scan the document in one file, it will not ask as previously do you want to scan another page or not? so is there any settings / software  available that i can do the continuos scan in one file. Thanks,Bhautik Shah

Hi,While a Full Feature software was available for Windows 7, a such no longer provided for Windows 8. A basic set of drivers as offered only provide basic scan capabilities using the OS utilities, a such does not offer an HP Scan Utility and allow scanning a single file only. Try the 3rd party NAPS scan utility below, it offers PDF and multiple page scanning and offered as a freeware:http://sourceforge.net/projects/naps2/files/latest/download Within that app you may scan multiple pages prior saving the PDF. Hope that helps,Shlomi

  • LaserJet M1319f MFP Installation issue on Windows 7

Dear HP support team and community members,
I'm currently trying to install HP LaserJet M1319f MFP connected by USB on Lenovo Q190 machine /Intel Core i3 processor/ running freshly installed Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit with Bulgarian language pack, all current updates, Microsoft Forefront Protection /I also tried to disable the Real-time protection/, UAC disabled, administrator account, IE 11, .NET Framework 4.5.1.
The priter was working correctly with Windows XP.
I downloaded the driver package from here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4063&lc=en&cc=bg&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=3547...
After the installation process reach the "Copying files to the hard drive" stage the installer return error Printer Software Installer stopped working.
I tried running with Administrator privileges and/or Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode, but the same error occurs.
I tried Microsoft Fix It software for install/uninstall drivers too,but with no luck either.
I cleaned the cashe and temporary files around 10-15 times.
Windows update is not helping with the drivers too.
I tried to extract the files from the installer and manually add the printer and got error that the installation was not successful and below it says The file was not found /if I recall it correctly/
After that I tried HP Print and Scan Doctor software, but it displays that there is no driver installed and redirecting me to the driver download page.
I tried the Driver Wizard software too, but it returns that this model is no supported.
I tried to change the windows startup to "Selective startup" with "Load startup items" unchecked and all non-microsoft services disabled, but with no success.
Under Safe mode the install won't complete because of the Print Spooler service not running, which is running normally otherwise.
The "ntprint.inf" file is present in the "Windows\inf" folder, the registry HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Enviroments\Windows NT x86 has only Drivers and Print Processors subkeys and the registry HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors has only Local Port, Microsoft Shared Fax monitor, Standard TCP/IP Port, USB monitor and WSD port subkeys.
The folders Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and Windows\System32\spool\drivers\W32X86 are empty.
I ran sfc /scannow in cmd with administrator privileges, but there was no integrity violations.
I tried to disable the IE component, but no luck either.
So now I’m out of any ideas how to connect that **bleep** thing… I hope that someone can help me with this issue.
Currently the devices without installed driver in the Device Manager are "Hewlett-PackardHP LaserJet M1319f MFP" /Hardware IDs USBPRINT\Hewlett-PackardHP_La28A1 and Hewlett-PackardHP_La28A1/ and HP Scan /Hardware IDs USB\VID_03F0&PID_5817&REV_0100&MI_00 and USB\VID_03F0&PID_5817&MI_00/
I forgot to mention that I tried all kind of variations with these solutions with and without printer plugged in.
Thank you very much in advance for any kind of guidelines.

    Hello Gemini02,
First thank you for your assistance!
I uninstalled the IE 11 and install IE 10, but with no success related to the driver issues. I just want to mention to those who are trying to do the same that IE 11 should be removed from Add/Remove Windows components and from Installed Updates.
As for the solutions from your post:
Solution 2: The build in troubleshooting is reporting that no driver is installed (obviously...), but is not helping much with the installation. Windows updates are not much of a help too... The device manager is finding the device, but can't install the driver. More detailed information about the devices in the Device manager you can find in the end of my first post.
I'm posting some screenshots of the issue so that you can get clearer picture of the situation.
So basically I'm downloading the official drivers from the link in my first post. I'm sure that the drivers are the correct one as I downloaded them several time to clear the possibility of technical mistake.
But when I try to install them I get the following error:

Solution 3 can't be applied to the current case as I can't install the software so I don't have what to uninstall/reinstall.
I cleared the cache and disabled all optionally installed software in msconfig as suggested, but the issue with the installer is still not resolved.
Solution 4 is not relevant as the device was working fine two days ago.
Solution 5 is difficult for implementation too as the location of the device is in some kind of rural area and it is vital for the implementation of the daily duties of the employee.
So after the failure with the solutions provided in the article I tried to extract the installer to use the drivers and manually install the printer using the file HP1319fp.ini  with the "... MFP" driver selected. I set it at new local port named USB. I'm posting the screenshot of the error i get in the end of installation:
After I press the OK button in gets in a loop by returning to the previous page.
I tried the same drivers with existing port USB001, but got the same result as with the new port.
Currently I will try to rename the SoftwareDistribution folder in case that this is kind of windows update cache issue, but don't think so... I begin to think that this device driver is somehow not compatible with the computer hardware...
Thank you and I apologize for taking your time with such issues!
    Best regards,
    Ivan

    Hello Rick,
Just as I mentioned above I'm using Microsoft Forefront Protection, but had no luck with disabling the Real-time protection - it is disabled,
    but that chanage nothing.
The downloaded driver is for Windows 7 64 bit.
I did write to HP but I still got no answer from them... I already checked that support page, but I didn't get any information corresponding
to my problem, not to mention that a lot of that page is just copy/paste from another product and it's not relevant to that model.

    Hi @JanieBird ,
I see that you are having issues scanning to a PDF format. I will do my best to help you.
Here is a document for scanning with the HP Scan Software.
Scan from Windows 7 With the Full Feature HP Software for HP LaserJet Multifunction Printers.
This is a screen shot of the HP Scan Software that you should see. You will see all the options for scanning to. Disregard the model number.
Download and run the Print and Scan Doctor if you are still having issues. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. Find and fix common printer problems using HP diagnostic tools for Windows?
What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (did it print or scan, any error messages)
