LaserJet P1102w: HTML Config page errors out

I was using my LaserJet P1102w via wireless fine, until my wireless router died. When I replaced it, I tried to set up the printer on the new network but I get an error when I try to open the "HTML Config ..." utility. The page itself won't load.
I've printed the config page on the printer, and it says it has an IP address, but it still thinks it's connected to the old network. Is there a way to reset the printer itself?

Hi,
Be sure to restore the Wireless Radio firs by turning the printer on while holding both the Wireless and Cancel buttons.. keep the buttons pressed till the lights between them start blinking.
Next try usin HTML Config again and check for any difference.
If the same persists, try clearing the browser history by clicking on Safari > Reset Safari.
Be sure to remove any existing caches and cookies.
Quit Safari to ensure it takes effect, then try alunching HTML Config once again.
Hope that helps,
Shlomi

  • HTML Config Page will not open

Hello,  I am running Yoesmite, 10.10.3 and cannot get the HTML Config page to open to set up my HP 1102W printer wirelessly. This problem started when I set up my printer to an airport time capsule. When I had an airport extreme I had no problems with my wireless setup and printing using air print. After connecting my 1102W to my laptop via USB, my printer is recognized in the Print Scan window found in system preferences. However whenever I choose utility, the HTML config page does not open. No error messages occur. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi , I see that you are having issues opening the HTML Config Page. I will certainly do my best to help you. Make sure Safari is set as the default browser. (sometimes the EWS won't open if it isn't set as the default)Open Safari, across the top select the Safari menu, select Preferences, General, set as default. You will probably have to delete and add the USB driver back in again in Printers and Scanners to get the HTML to open. You may have to delete and readd the printer again as a USB connection again, then try and open the HTML again. If you haven't already restore the old network settings on the printer, here are the directions. 1. Turn the product off.
    2. Press and hold the wireless button and the cancel button and then turn the product on.
    3. Hold the buttons until the printer stops making noise, then release the buttons. If you still can't open the HTML config, then update the printer's firmware. There isn't one available for 10.10 at this time, so you would have to use a older Mac or a Windows computer to do this. • Hp P1102w html config is not displaying/being interpreted (source code only)

As the subject heading says, I am trying to configure an HP P1102w for wifi based printing in my local network.  But the html config page is not displaying (from the MacOS printer utility.)  I have updated the firmware of the printer.  The printer shows up when I connect it to my Mac through USB.  My Mac is running OS 10.6.8.  Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
Reboot your MAc and try again.
If the same persists, click the Apple icon and then click on Force Quit.
If there is any HP task running, terminate the task and try launching the HTML Config tool once again.

I am trying to launch the classsic application wizard page(under Navigate->Administer) from Worspace and it keeps erroring out. • The appraisal pages error out when I apply my VO substitution

    Hi All
We are in the process of performing an upgrade from 11i to R12.1.3.
In the 11i instance, Appraisal VO (/oracle/apps/per/selfservice/appraisals/server/AppraisalVO) was substituted to add one more entry in the select clause.
As part of R12, this underlying standard VO has undergone some changes in the select clause. So I have re-done the substitution.
But when I try to apply this substitution, the pages accessing AppraisalVO error out with null pointer exceptions.
The VO is being used in multiple flows. All the flows are throwing NPEs from standard code.
An example of the error from one such flow is as below :
    java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:619) ## Detail 0 ## java.lang.NullPointerException at oracle.apps.per.selfservice.appraisals.server.AppraisalsAMImpl.isParticipantsReviewDisplayed(AppraisalsAMImpl.java:1642)
The line of code at 1642 is as below:
    return new Boolean(!appraisalvorowimpl.getSelfAppraisal().booleanValue());
    Any pointers?
    - Thanks
    Deepika

    Hi Gyan
Yes, as you rightly said, even I could make out that the issue is because getSelfAppraisal() is getting returned as null
But the issue is that when I run the query standalone on Toad, with appraisal ID as parameter, it returns me the row.
However, SelfAppraisal is a transient attribute in the VO and hence am unable to ascertain if the value is getting returned as null or not.
Also, I observed that all the others flows where we are facing NPEs are also originating from the line of code in standard files, where they are trying to access the getters of the RowImpl.
The system is able to get the handle to the RowImpl, however when trying to access the getters in the RowImpl, it errors out.
    Any pointers?
    - Thanks
    Deepika

  • Worklist Application page errors out in SOA suite 10.1.3.1

    All,
I have installed SOA Suite 10.1.3.1 and going through the given BPEL samples/demos.
    I am trying "VacationRequest" demo.
I am able to deploy the process in BPEL and initiated the process via BPEL console. After that I could not get the Worklist Application login page.

Please let me know whether I am missing any setup/installables ?
    TIA,

Due to lack of detailed information about the error, I would recommend checking on the usual culprits - the port number and the host name.
Please check the port number you are using. The port numer chosen during the install is in the bpelsetupinfo.txt in SOA_Oracle_Home\install\ directory.
Also, do you see any errors on the server?

Looking for a solution to print wireless with my Laserjet P1102, running OS X 10.6.8 on MacBook Pro
    Thanks!

    Hey @Shellyschoon,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I understand that you're having an issue setting up and installing your HP Laserjet P1102w printer wirelessly with your Mac OS X 10.6.8. I'd be more than happy to help you with getting up and running wirelessly today!
The HTML Config errors that you're getting seem to be an issue with your internet browser. Can I have you start by changing your default browser on  your Mac and giving the wireless configuration another attempt?
In order to change your Mac's default browser (preferably to Safari), you want to go to:
    Choosing a default web browser
    Open Safari (/Applications).
From the Safari menu, choose Preferences.
    Click the General button.
Choose your desired browser from the "Default web browser" pop-up menu.
Mac OS X: How to change your default email application or web browser
Once your default web browser is changed to Safari, try to run the HTML Config wireless setup again.
Let me know if this works for you. Best of luck!

  • HP Laserjet P1102w problem running HTML Config from Printer Utility

I have recently changed broadband providers and was trying to move my HP P1102w printer to the new router so while I was at it I thought I'd check for Software & Firmware updates - there were new ones so I updated both with the printer connected via USB to my Apple iMAC running 10.6.8 and now I can't run the HTML Config  via the Printer Utility screens - instead of the normal window you would get I I just get a screen full of the code it's tryingto run e.g. below
I've tried going back to the original software provided with my original installed CD, but no luck - anyone experienced the same and any ideas how I can resolve this?
    Thanks in advance,
    Ian

    Hi @cartian ,
I see that you need to setup the printer on a new network. I can help you with this.
Make sure Safari is set as the default browser. Sometimes the Embedded Web Server won't open in other browsers.
Open Safari, across the top select the Safari menu, select Preferences, General, set as default.
Turn the printer off, hold down the wireless button and cancel (x button) while turning the printer back on and don't release the two buttons until the printer stops making noise.
Print out a configuration report and make sure the old SSID and IP address are cleared.
(hold down the x button and when the printer makes a noise let go)
Connect the USB cable from the printer to the Mac and install the printer software.
(if this is already done then skip this step)
Go to the Apple, system preferences, print and fax.
    Double click on the P1102w.
    Open the utility.
    Click printer setup.
    Click HTML config.
This should open the Embedded Web Server for the printer.
    Click the Networking tab.
Click Wireless from the list on the left.
Under Communication Mode , click Infrastructure.
Select your network SSID from the Available Network Names (SSID) list and then click the << button so the network name moves over to other box.
From the Security Mode pop-up menu under Authentication , click WEP, WPA/WPA2 or open . Your selection depends on which Wireless Security Protocol your network uses.
Make sure you select either hexadecimal or alpha depending on your password. (very important)
    Apply the settings.
In the confirmation box (changes have been saved), click OK.
You should get a solid blue light on the printer shortly.
Then all we have to do is delete the USB driver and add the network driver.
    Click on the Apple.
    Click system preferences.
Click the print and fax icon.
Highlight the printer and click on the - sign to delete the printer. (USB driver)
    Disconnect the USB cable.
Then click the + sign and select the printer from the list and click add. (p1102w bonjour)
    Test the printer.
If you have any issues with the HTML config opening then do the following steps:
    Close any applications.
On the Apple menu bar, click Go, computer, MAC harddrive, Library, Printers, HP, LaserJet, click on folder for your printer, click on EWS browser or HTML config, click the Networking tab, click wireless on the left and fill out your information. (make sure infrastructure is selected) Apply settings.
Then delete the USB driver and add the network printer.
If there is anything else that I can help you with just let me know.
    Have a wonderful day!
    Thank You.

  • How to Config Special Error Page for TIME OUT ONLY

We can config our own error page for webdynpro applications by using
transaction code SICF. thus the customizing error page will show when
program meet some errors. these errors type include ABAP runtime
    dump/page time out etc.
Here is my question, is there any configuration or enhancement can
effect on ONLY ONE error type.which means the customizing error page
shows only time out error occurred.for other errors show the standard
    error page.
Thanks a lot for your help.

I need to setup a situation, that is display a custom error page which say "under maintenance" if no back-end WebLogic Server instance reached. In the Apache HTTP Server v2.2 you can use the ErrorDocument directive: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/core.html#errordocument
    For example in httpd.conf,
    ErrorDocument 503 /Test.html
Test.html is placed in the DocumentRoot (http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/core.html#documentroot)

  • HP LaserJet p1102w with Mac OS X10.6.8 HTML config issue

    Hello,
I have been using this printer for a few years now and have moved house a few times and successfully updated the wireless settings on the printer through HTML config. Lately, in printer utilities the HTML config button does not show up where it is meant to.
I have installed / uninstalled the latest firmware, software drivers, printers and made sure they were platform specific.
    This is really annoying.
Is there old software available for download? it was working fine until the recent update - which I did so I could use the eprint features.
    Best regards
    Costas
    Printer:
    HP LaserJet p1102w, Firmware datacode = 20130213
    Computer:
    Macbook white, late 2008 model: 2.4Ghz Core2Duo, 4G RAM with OS X 10.6.8

From the name of the printer, it looks like you have it installed through a USB connection.
Here is what I would. First go into “System Preferences” and then select either  “Print & Scan” or "Print & Fax".
Right click (or control + click) on the rectangle listing your printers and then select “Reset Printing System”.
NOTE: This will delete all printers.
After you have reset the printing system, let's make sure you have the most recent HP driver package installed.
You can download it here: http://support.apple.com/downloads/DL907/en_US/HPPrinterDrivers2.14.dmg
Once you have downloaded the driver package and completed the installation, go into your print settings under System Preferences > Print & Scan. To add the printer, click the plus (+) sign. You should see your printer listed here. If not, click "Add Printer or Scanner." Click the name of your printer and then click "Use:” box.  Make sure that says the name of your printer and not AirPrint. Next make sure that the printer "Kind:" is set to Bonjour or Bonjour Multifunction. Click "Add" down in the bottom right hand corner.
This will add your printer back using the most recent HP print driver available through Apple. Let me know if this helps resolve your issue or not. If it doesn't, let me know I will see what else I can do.
    Best of luck,
    Kyle
