LaserJet Pro Scans, prints test page but will not print from a file

I installed a LaserJet Pro200 MFP M276nw on my wife's Toshiba Satellite (Windows 7 64Bit OS) laptop yesterday (Printer is brand new out of the box). I installed with a wireless connection. It will print a test page and also scan wirelessly but will not print from a file i.e. a PDF. I installed it on my HP Probook this morning and it works fine. Any suggestions would be appreciated. The thought of paying Geek Squad 75 bucks rubs me the wrong way, especially since i just paid them 100 for an extended warranty. Thanks!

I see by your post that the printer won't print a PDF document from the one computer.

Try power cycling the network devices:
Turn off the printer and computer and unplug the router for 1 minute (do not press any buttons on the router).
Plug the router back in and wait another minute, next turn on the printer and computer and test print again.

I have a hppsc 1310 series that prints the test page, butr will not print the selected document.

I have a hppsc 1310 series that prints the test page when turned on, but will not print the document I want to print. It shows in STATUS as printing, but it does not print. I keep getting a message to install software and I do this. I then get a message software installed, but it still will not print. This just started about five days ago.

Most likely what is printed when you turn on the PSC 1310 is an alignment page. To complete the alignment process you need to place this page on the scanner glass and press the Scan button. The top of the page should be towards the left of the printer I believe, double check this on your printer (there should be a small icon next to the scanner glass showing which way the paper should be placed on the glass).

Hp all-in One remote prints test page but cannot find printer for anything else

The HP All-in-One application can print test pages on my 8610 but when I go to any document or photo and try to print I get the following message "This Printer is not available." I have checked and have the latest version of the HP All-in-one Printer Remote application and the HP Print Service Plugin applications from the Google Play store. I am using a Samsung Galaxy 5 running Android 5.0. If I print a page from my laptop using wireless to this printer, I can see the All-in-One application tracking my printer status so I know it can see the printer. The app on the phone will show the status under the printer name going from Ready to Unavailable to Ready as a document is printed and then finished. I am printing directly with local WIFI and am not using the ePrint feature.

I hope you have a pleasant experience here. I'd like to help you with the issues you are having printing from your Samsung Galaxy S5 to your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-All-in-One printer. Firstly, do you have the printer plugged directly into a wall outlet? The printer has a power moderator built in, so if it is plugged into a power surge bar or battery backup it may be getting inconsistent power. This can cause all kinds of firmware glitches (like the printer status not being broadcast properly). If that doesn't immediately resolve the issue, please follow the steps below: Network Power Reset: Let's leave the router on and unplug the power cable (NOTE: Do not reset the router.), then do the same with the printer, and shut down the computer. After a full minute, plug the router back in, wait for it to fully power up, then plug the printer back in and wait for the wireless light to become solid. Once both the router and printer are on, go ahead and turn the computer back on. Doing this will refresh the network connection. Restore Network Defaults and Reconnect: 1. On the front panel of the printer, touch your wireless icon at the top2. Select Settings.3. Select Restore Network Defaults.4. Restart your printer.5. Once it's booted back up, touch the wireless icon again.6. Select Settings.7. Select Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the prompts to enter your wireless network details.8. Try enabling the web services again. Another thing I would suggest, would be to download the HP ePrint app, rather than the All-in-One Remote. The Remote is moreso suited for scanning to your phone from your product, so I would suggest trying the ePrint app (you can download it from the Play Store). If the issue persists after these steps, please answer the following questions so I'm better able to assist: Are you able to print reliably from any other devices on your network?What brand and model of router are you using?What is it that you are trying to print? (ie. E-mail, photo, document)What app are you printing from? Printer on & connected but will not print

I have a HP Photosmart 6525 all in one printer. I have a HP Pavilion TouchSmart 23 all in one computer. At one time i had the wireless as well as the USB cord set up to print items. not sure when or what happened but i am unable to print now. wehn i go to my document to print and hit the print button, the following message pops up..."Before you can perform print related task, such as page set up or printing a document, you need to install a printer. I go to my Control Panel and to Printer and Devices and i see that i have my printer there. I printed out a Wireless Network Test Page and everything is on there....Wireless On, Wireless Working, Signial Quality Good..etc....etc...I connnect the USB cord and still cannot print.....

Kodak has posted an unsupported hack that has been reported to enable printing to a Kodak printer not supported in OS X 10.10 ("Yosemite"). Perhaps it would have the same effect with some other kinds of printers that aren't supported in Yosemite.
I have not tested the hack myself. As far as I know it will not break the compatibility of printing software that is already compatible with Yosemite. It may degrade the security of the printing system. It's up to you to decide whether that risk is worth taking.

Photosmart 6520 e Windows 7 printer says it is connected to network, but will not print.

I've followed all suggestions in troubleshooting both from manual and on line. Shut off firewall, unplugged, plugged waited. Nothing changes. All printouts from the printer say connected, but will not print and computer detection of the printer says cannot be located. Help!!

Let me give you a slightly different perspective than everyone else here. You are using an unsecured wireless network, which means that all your network traffic is easily available for viewing by anyone else using that network. That's bad. Very bad, for you, unless you absolutely trust everyone who lives within range of this network. So stop doing it.
As to the Mac not connecting, wireless networking is simply too complex for any reasonable answer without more information. There are many possible error points, and as often as not it's the Mac that can connect and the Windows PC that cannot. Since you can't give us any information about the configuration of the neighbor's network, and can't make any changes to it, we can't do much to help you troubleshoot it.

Firefox 5 with Fedora 15 prints text, but will not print images from web pages.

I have a Pentium 3 laptop running Fedora 15 and using Firefox 5.0. Firefox will print the text from a website, but will not print the images. It just leaves the spaces blank where the images should be. Print preview shows the same results. I have a AMD desktop and a Pentium 4 laptop running the same software, except that the desktop is running the 64-bit version of Fedora 15 and the second laptop is running the 32-bit version. The desktop prints the text and images without very many problems, but both laptops will print the text, but ''not'' the images.
As a test, I downgraded Firefox from version 5.0 to 4.0.1 on the Pentium 4 laptop and encountered the same problem. So, since I do not print much from either laptop, I had not before seen this problem. The desktop has never seen it.
I figure it may be an about:config problem, but I do not know what the parameter may be that is causing the problem.

HP Photosmart c4450 prints and scans normal 8.5x11 fine, but will not print 4x6 laminate pictures. Using the printer completely unconnected from a pc or network, using a SSD memory card to print off. As the printer begins the print, the printer prints only about 3/4 of the image, and clips the rest leaving it blank. Within the options, you can see the whole picture on the LCD screen, and selecting the 4x6 print mode it still clips the picture.
Not sure exactly whats going on, the printer was doing this fine for about a year, and just randomly started to print with the image cut off at the beging and ending abruptly at the end only printing half-3/4's. Also using the same memory card, have not tried a different card though. Any ideas?

As far as I know, you cannot scan or perform software-based copying over a Bluetooth connection. Printing is doable. Perhaps that is something that is in the pipe for developement.

After Update printer won't print to pages but will to emails

My iMac Intel did an update and since it was done my printer won't print for pages but if I print an email it will print.

Update Pages to the most up-to-date version and then restart the computer while resetting the PRAM. If you don't know how to do a PRAM reset, please click Intel iMac SMC and PRAM resets. If that does not fix it then please post back and we can take some other steps.
