Last 5 Episodes are not showing up in the iTunes store
OK, our pocast has been going on for about a year with no problems, aftr Episode 32, the iTunes store quit updating the feed. The feed works directly, it's just a problem in the store. Can anyone give me a reason?
I know some of the listeners subscribed directly but we do have quite a few that go through iTunes store.
The feed validates as good and I have been through the code too many times now! Maybe some fresh eyes will help!

I have looked closely at your feed and I can't see anything wrong with it (except the 'itunes:image' tags in each 'item' are irrelevant, but iTunes should ignore them - and in any case they are there on the earlier episodes so I don't see them as a problem).
Checking with FeedValidator, a couple of times I got a complaint that it was an html page, and showed the code for a redirect page: however most times I got the correct feed and it validated. Downloading from the link to your feed URL produced the correct feed, so I don't know what that is about.
I can only suggest that you try iTunes Support, though from others' experience I doubt you will get much more than standard responses.

I have to actually same problem today 23.10.2012. For an example I have only changed billing methods and have bought hundreds of apps but I remember clearly that I bought for an example ,,Wikipanion Plus'' and ,,OPlayer'' which is now HD OPlayer and I did not see them in purchased items, neither ,,not on ipad/iphone'' nour ,,not on my computer'' and I check in both my computer. I confirm hereby that I took the chance to re-buy these two Apps again through the same account but I got the message ,,As you have bought the previous version on this account you will get this update for free'' so I clicked yes and I got them both. This doesnt only proof that I have purchased them before and purchased items in iTunes Store has some lacks to fix but also it proofs that I also bought them through that specific account as I had to confirm the buying process. In my opnion this is not a thing which Apple should be relaxed with as its very important that powerusers and regular consumers can trust and rely on doing business and to shop via iTunes. I have a lot of expensive Apple Hardware and for me this is a stepping stone and a serious test on the circle of trust. If this cant be fixed I cannot recommend others to trust the store.

New Episodes of my Podcast are not showing up in the iTunes Music Store?
this isn't really an "itunes for mac" question, but since i do my production on a mac, i'll ask it here!
i produce and record a weekly podcast (about 2 hours each week) which has been listed in the iTMS since it started (last february)
this last week we recorded episode 31 and uploaded it to my .mac account, and all went well... the new episode is downloading to anyone who already has subscribed to the rss feed (homepage.mac.com/airplayradio/podcast.xml), but it hasn't shown up in the iTunes Music Store... the software i use to upload the shows generates an automatic ping, and i've done a manual ping a couple of times a day since wednesday, but nothing...
any ideas? absolutely -nothing- (software/hardware/etc.) has changed since i uploaded episode 30 a week ago, and that showed up within an hour...

PowerMac G5 Quad Mac OS X (10.4.8)well, i never got a reply directly to my question, but i was directed by email to post my problem within itunes... go to the podcast page of my podcast and then select "report a concern"... i always thought this was to report offensive podcasts, but if you click on that button you'll see a pull down list with a bunch of problems... i selected "difficulty downloading" and then explained the problem completely... as i said, i never heard back from anyone, but about 4 days later my podcast episode showed up... and this past wednesday we uploaded the latest episode and it showed up in the iTMS almost immediately... go figure?!
if anyone's interested, the podcast name is Schnauzer Logic and its comedy and talk and music and pop culture (i used to be the host of a morning show)... good for a giggle once a week for a couple of hours.

I have a laptop that has (or had) pretty much all of my music, both burned from CDs and downloaded from iTunes. My 17 year old son on occasion syncs his iPhone and iPad with this laptop. As of the last sync (as best I can determine), many songs that I purchased in the past few years are now missing, in that they have an exclamation point to the left of the song title, and when I try to play the song, I get an error message that says "The song could not be used because the original file could not be found" or something to that effect. As it turns out, the file seems to be erased. This has happened multiple times, and I could be wrong, but I believe that there are some songs that had the exclmation point last time he synced that now don't, and vice-versa. There is not an obvious correlation or grouping as to why these songs are missing (e.g,. they were not all purchased on the same date, not all songs from one artist are missing, etc.).
Since most of these songs have been purchased through iTunes through my account, my reaction was to go to the iTunes store, log in with my account, and re-download them. Problem is, all of these songs instead ask me to purchase the song, instead of displaying a "cloud" logo. Therefore, it appears that I have to re-purchase these songs, which does not sound correct.
Questions: Does anyone know, most importantly (to get an immediate fix):
1. How can I re-download these songs and why doesn't iTunes Store recognize that I have already purchased them?
and perhaps as important (more of a long-term question):
2. Why does this happen and how can I prevent this from happening again (since it has happened multiple times)?
Thanks.1. iTunes won't offer cloud downloads for songs that it "thinks" are in your library, even if it "knows" the files are missing. If you've exhaustively searched for the missing files and there is no prospect of repair by restoring to them to their original locations, or connecting to new ones, then delete that tracks that display both the missing exclamation mark and are of media kind Purchased/Protected AAC audio file. Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.
2. Why? Not sure, perhaps 3rd party tools or accidental key presses combined with previously hidden warning messages when trying to organize the library. There is a hint that using the feature to downsample media as it is synced to a device may also be involved, though I've not replicated it. Whatever the reason a backup would protect your media.

I'm a podcaster and my latest episode doesn't show up in the iTunes store
I have The ****** Off World of Uncle Hal Radio Show and I have had a great time with it. Every week I upload my show and then ping iTunes. My latest episode will show up in the store pretty quick. I have subscribed to my own podcast (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=173914731) and can download the latest episode but in the iTunes store my latest show (Episode 29) does not show up. My latest episode shows up on all directories on line and in my subscription in iTunes but not on the store! Anyone know what's going on? There should be 29 shows...not 28.

The same problem is experience in iTunes on both my Mac and PC so it appears to be aniTunes issue, particularly since Juice has no problem updating using the same rss feed.
It would be great if the iTunes team would comment.

I try to rate my favorite apps, but for some reason they will not come up. I never put anything that violates Apple Service, please help.
iPhone apps don't work on Macs and Mac apps don't run on iOS devices like an iPhone. If you sync an iPhone to a Mac, the apps from the iPhone are stored in the Mac's iTunes app's media library as a backup.
The App Store app on a Mac is not the same as the App Store app on the iPhone. The Mac version is the Mac App Store, apps for Macs. The iPhone version is the iTunes App Store, apps for iOS devices. -

The Store can be quite slow to show a new image, and sometimes it seems to get stick and can take quite some days - or even weeks. I'm afraid there isn't really anything you can do about it except wait for the Store to catch up/ -
I bought the season 7 pass for Doctore Who, but the new episodes are not showing up for download. I've been all over the support page, I even looked up my purchase history and there is are none showing and I even bought last weeks episode, The Bell's of St. John. Who can I contact to find out why I'm not getting the rest of season 7 for download?

ChristyQGarmin is sending you to Apple because it is Apple that would have to give you a refund as the actual point of sale. However, Apple states all sales are final.
Apple is sending you to Garmin because it is Garmin's fault their maps are out of date and Apple doesn't write the software. They may not even be looking that deeply and simply perceiving it as a programming "bug" it is up to Garmin to solve.
Who know whose fault it is that Garmin isn't getting up to date data to put in their maps.
Ultimately I think you stand the best chance in getting a refund from Apple though it isn't guaranteed. Apple is the cashier. You just have to convince them this isn't just a line of code omitted from an application and isn't something that will be soon corrected by Garmin. Make it clear it isn't a problem with the application running on your device, it is a problem with the data it contains. Either that or you have to hope Garmin will feel so bad about it they will delve down into their slush fund and send you a refund. -

Calendar items created on my Iphone 4S are not showing up in the Calendar on my MacPro after USB Sync.. even though they are still on the phone... ideas???
In the Event mode use the View ➙ Sort ➙ By Date ➙ Decending menu option. Then the latest imports will be near the top of the Event window (depending on when the photos were taken of course).
Or Control-Click on one of the thumbnails in the Last Import album and select Show Event from the contextual menu:

For some reason, just recently, my websites that I have hosted with BC, that I have built for clients, are not showing up on the right control panel? Usually when I load up CC, it shows the Website text as ...loading, then my sites appear... now, nothing.

AaronThis seems to be a bug with Creative Cloud. I am encountering the same issue. We've gone ahead and notified the product team, but for now, you can access your websites by directly logging into Business Catalyst: http://www.businesscatalyst.com/admin/Index.aspx. Use the same log in information that you use for your Creative Cloud memberhsip.

Why is this answer being accepted by users? Am I supposed to restart my Mac EVERY TIME I want to sync my iPhone, iPad or iPod?
Has anyone found a solution to this problem? I see this question in the Apple Support forums quite frequently, and the answer always boils down to 'http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1591' - Which - after exhausting the obvious, you've got a bad cable or bad USB port checklist - recommends that you 'Restart your Mac' to resolve the issue.
That's not an adequate or acceptable answer - If Apple is ignoring this question, then they're the ones with a 'Problem' - Ignoring these obvious issues (this isn't a bad cable / bad USB port problem) is only going to lead to a loss of customers. I'm certain that Apple has the technical expertise to investigate and resolve the underlying issue. The real question is 'does Apple still value the customer'?
My iTunes (11.1.4) has stopped recognizing Devices (an iPad 2, an iPhone 5S, an iPod classic). This has been going on for about a month now (since 11.1.4?). Yes, I have the current OS (OS 10.9.1), yes my iDevice has the most recent iOS (just updated to 7.0.6 (1.1.2 for 160GB iPod Classic), yes my USB 3.0 ports work (after I reboot the computer). The syncing and connectivity works fine (with all my devices/cables/USB ports) until I disconnect my device - What good is my mobile device if I have to leave it tethered to my Mac in order to use it? -
