Last Backup

Question

My MacBook Pro hard drive crashed (thankfully it is still under warranty). I would like to view the last time my Time Capsule completed a backup. I have another MacBook Pro, can I view the Time Capsule with my other laptop?
Also, is it best to wait a week for the repair of the hard drive or allow my older MacBook Pro restore from the Time Capsule and work on it during the week? I would like to keep my older MacBook Pro files that I have on it currently.

I decided to test. Using a test database I was running this :
run { allocate channel d1 type disk;
allocate channel d2 type disk;
allocate channel d3 type disk;
backup full as compressed backupset
database plus archivelog;
release channel d1;
release channel d2;
release channel d3;
}For your test I changed it to :
run { allocate channel d1 type disk;
allocate channel d2 type disk;
allocate channel d3 type disk;
backup incremental level 0
database plus archivelog;
release channel d1;
release channel d2;
release channel d3;
}And then ran the backup.
Checking the catalog view RC_BACKUP_SET before the backup the column INCREMENTAL_LEVEL was NULL in all rows. Expected given the backup I was running.
After I ran the incremental level 0 backup I had rows with 0 and that with COMPLETION_TIME gives the answer.
