Last count date conversion

Hi SAP experts,
We have a field available in legacy with the last count date (per material and plant). We would like to load this date in the last count date field in MARD table so we can continue our physical inventory schedule for this year. How can we load this last count date in SAP?

Hi,
We are using split valued materials and the date of the last count field is in table MCHB (Batch stocks). In the BAPI we are using to load the material master data, this table is not available. MARD and the date of last count field is available in the BAPI so we are okay to load this date of last count field for non-split valued materials. How can we load this field for split valued materials?
Another concern I have is that we are doing a direct table update by entering this date in MARD or MCHB. Are you guys aware of any negative consequences?

Last Inventory Date update in Quant

Hi All,
We use Cycle counting in our warehouse and it is triggered by LICC. When a count is performed through LICC, it updates the last inventory date as the last count date.
It also happens that sometimes we count at Bin level, use LI01N and use inventory method as "CC". But after inventory, the last inventory record in the quant is updated with the current record, but the last inventory date is not updated.
Is there a note out there to fix this issue?

Yes i saw that, but since we are using LI01N with CC method, it should behave the same. I am not questioning what SAP does. It is how theoretically it should have been and how it is not.
On the same note, how is LX26 and LICC different.
You should understand that LI01N + CC and LX26 is cycle counting for storage bin whilst LICC is for quant.
If you are not satisfied with this I cannot help you (I cannot modify SAP and I think none of simple forum members can do this...), please contact SAP AG.

Cycle count dates upload from Legacy.

Hi,
In my client there is a requirement to upload the last count date from legacy to sap at the time of cutover. This they want as after inventory load they dont want to start counting everything which A kind of materials. Client is asking, since i have this date, so keep this date in SAP & then calculate the next date in SAP after go live from that date.
I searched all the places & found that since the field is internal i really cannot populate this. Is there any standard program or some how create one program to upload this date. If yes then plz let me know. If you had used this methodology, then kindly provide me the details.

Create additional CC indicator with 'No of Physical Inv' as zero and use this one to maintain the materials that already undergone cycle counting before go-live. Also, have the CC indicator as fixed for these materiasl in material master -> Plant data. When you run ABC analysis (MIBC), these CC indicators won't be changed and as they 'No of Physical Inv' as zero, they won't be part of your cycle counting. When you need these materials to be part of cycle count, change the CC indicator as fixed and run MIBC, now system proposes the cc indicator based on consumption/usage.
Or
You can keep a block for the materials that already undergone cycle counting before go-live in MBEW-SPERW through transaction MM17 or MASS.

Last Skipped Date, Skip count, are not updated in any songs that i listen in my iPhone5s

I've been using smart playlist that's relays on the play count, last skipped date and skipped count fields... I have been using an old ipod to heard my music through this smart playlist that live updates all the time and it was working great.
So my issue is, since i bought a new iPhone 5S and start using it to listen music, my smart playlist that relays on " play count, last skipped date, skipped count " fields are not updating, and when i connect my iphone to the PC i realize that those fields never update after i play or skip any song in my iPhone.
So, I'm not sure if this is an iPhone restriction, that i need to use my iPod again to get my smart playlist that relys on those fields to work... or my iphone is defective and need to re-install the iOS.
Any help on this matter will be enormously appreciated

I have playlists that rely on the Last Skipped and
Skip Count properties of songs, but these items only
seem to be triggered if the song is fast forwarded

I think this is how it's intended, though there isn't much info on this feature. I've seen the same behavior and other users have reported same.
One thing that threw me off for a bit using this feature was trying to use with playlists where the songs had "remember playback position" checked. Last skipped doesn't register at all with these tracks.

Please help - shuffle has stopped updating play count & date last played

All of a sudden these features have stopped working. (I've had this shuffle since January and it worked just fine till last week.) If I play a tune from iTunes on the computer, the play count & date are updated; but if I play a tune on the iPod, this information doesn't change as it used to. Can anyone help me out? I've already restored etc.

I had a similar problem and was able to recover. I deleted all files on the iShuffle including the hidden ones. On Windows I killed the iPodservice and iTuneshelper processes. That allowed me to view the iShuffle memory in an Explorer window. Blow away all of the files and directories. (Be sure they are not hidden.) Pull the iShuffle out, launch iTunes (to restart the services - or reboot to play it safe), and plug the iShuffle back in.

ITunes 11 no longer updates the song play count or the last played date/time on Win7 and on Macs

I've downloaded and installed iTunes 11 on 2 Win7 PC's, on my Macbook (Mountain Lion), MacbookPro (Snow Leopard) and new Mac mini (Mountain Lion). The song "play count" and "last played date/time" do not update after playing songs on any platform. This problem needs to be corrected as I have 2 iPods and an iPhone that I like to sync every few days. I have not tried the sync yet and will not as long as this problem persists.

I read another similar post about this same issue, where it was said the the "next play" list could be cleared to get the play count and last played date/time to update. That is true, however iTunes stops playing from the playlist entirely - all you hear is the single song. This is not any sort of upgrade or fix. For the sake of one nicety, Apple programmers have broken a fundamental feature and function. This is not good!

First Generation Ipod Shuffle: Play count and Last Played date

I have a 1st Gen Ipod shuffle that works great in all other respects but it doesn't track the number of "plays" or the "last play" dates. Which means I can't use the "Smart Playlists" Itunes feature to be sure that the music on it stay fresh, non-repetitive. Another problem is if I listen to a podcast on the Ipod Shuffle then in Itunes the podcast appears as though it has never played before. This gets confusing as I listen to a number of podcasts.
I have tried resetting and restoring the Ipod shuffle. Is there anything I can do to it to make it track the number of plays or last played dates?

All my tracks should be MP3s or AAC. I ripped them myselfs with iTunes. I may have bought some songs directly off of record labels or some other online music store, but I own my music legally whether I bought it on CD or got given it by magazines or record labels.
I went to the gym today. I set the shuffle to random. Some songs were synched back to iTunes but they weren't the songs I listened to, at least not all of them. Some of them may have been the songs I listened to last workout, at least one or two of the songs updated I did listen to today.
I listened to some other songs last night on my main Mac so it is easy to determine which songs iTunes updated this morning.
I haven't had much time to play with Match. It is still updating and uploading, it has 6000 songs to go. That means in a half month of trying it has managed to find and/or upload a little over 1000 songs actually close to 2000 now. It is something, but it isn't the service I was sold. All my songs and playlists were supposed to be available in the cloud. That hasn't happened and in the case of my smart playlists will never happen.
I'll read you link, but I wrote a blog posting how I was disappointed with the service so far.

IPod Shuffle 2 no longer updating playlist play count and last played date

I use my shuffle 2 in the gym. When I'm done working out I sync and the most recently played songs are rotated off using a smart play list. This is no longer working. I reset the shuffle 2, I've forced sync and auto filled many times. My latest workout it still lists all the songs I just listened to in the order I listened to them and has their last played date as many months ago.
This seems to be affecting my other iPod too, but it is tougher to diagnose. I signed up to iTunes Match and after several days that is still running but I noticed this problem long before iTunes Match became available in Canada. Both my iPod Shuffle and iTunes are up to date but my music is on an older but upgraded Mac. It has a G4 so no Lion upgrade, I just checked it is 10.5.8

Data Conversion Errors for the last week

We've been running a simple Stream Analytics job for little over a month now with a very light workload. Input is Event hub and output SQL Server. We noticed today that we haven't received anything into SQL Server since 2014-12-08 (we don't receive events
every day so we only know that everything still worked on the 8th of December), so we checked the job's logs. It seems that job is failing to process all the messages: The value of "Data Conversion Errors" is high.
I wonder what could have happened? We haven't touched the client since we started the job so it's still sending the messages in same format. And we haven't touched the job's query either.
Has there been an update to either to Stream Analytics or to Events Hub which could cause the issue we're seeing?

I've followed word for word the TollApp Instructions (except the thing with NamespaceType "Messaging" that has been added to New-AzureSBNamespace).

Note the bug on the 3rd message. In my opinion it's unrelated, it could be the writeline that can't keep up with the stream in the console application. And at worst it's in the stream, but then I should see at least some lines in output for the correctly
formatted messages.

Vendor ID, Last Update Date, Invoice Details - Query

For each Supplier, we would like to know the vendor ID, vendor number, vendor name, vendor site code, Created Date, Last Update Date, last invoice date, last payment date, total number of invoices and total $ amount of invoices for each supplier.
1) How do i find the last payment date and supplier catagory?
2) As i have to use sum(invoice_amount), count(invoice_amount), max(payment_date) which point to 3 different tables, i am not sure how to use "group by" based on the Vendor_id alone while i select lot of fields from different table. Could you please help me with this?

1) You can get last_payment_date by joining vendor_id to ap_invoices_all and the joining invoice_id with ap_invoice_payments_all to get the max accounting_date (i.e. last payment date)
2) You are partially right. Invoice_amount and invoice_count are from the same table so you have to join 2 tables. Best way is to do a select in the select.

Let me ask agagin to all experts.
I want to make A condition to be repriced at the time of billing.
For this, I have to set condition category as 'L' (Generally new when copying).
But I do not want to do in that way becauuse I am maintaining big operated system now.
In addition, though I migrate open orders after changing config. as 'L', it is almost impossible for use to migrate because we have more than a thound open orders per a DAY as Globalized system.
That is why I am asking.
Simply I can create new condition but as I mentioned, there are various recycling fee so we already created about 10 conditions. And this recycling conditions are linked to REA package of SAP. So creating another 10 more conditions can not be a way for us.
At last, what I want is not to be shown this condition only in billing doc.
'A' condition should be displayed in both Sales order and Billing doc.
And simultaneously, when the billing is created and if user changed 'A' condition master, then new value which is different from sales order have to be reflected in billing doc.

I tried to create a query on 0TCT_MC01 to get the last used date of a query.
Since we do not have readily available key figure for Last used date, could any one help me out to achieve this result?
I am interested to find the old queries which are not being used anymore.

You can get the info from the below tables
if you are working with BW 3.5 you can look in table RSDDSTAT in BI 7.0 it is RSDDSTAT_OLAP.
Make a selction on the infocube and the OLAP Statistic Object which is the query ID and execute. Then you should see how often the query was executed, by whom and which date/time.
in field Statistics Object Name Query ID you type in the tech name of the query
from the Counter for statistics event calls -- will give the count... no of times the query used least the count lesser the query is used.

Data conversion of material BOM by LSMW

Right now I try to work on LSMW setting for data conversion of material BOM. However, I forgot how to set
the linkage of BOM header & item at LSMW since my last
experience was 1 year ago. I have set up 2 source structures, BOM_HD (header) & BOM_IT (item) from 2 files. Both source
structures contain one same source field, BOM_ID. From this identical BOM_ID field, the linkage of BOM header and items is set up between 2 files. Can
anyone know how to make the setting at LSMW ?

hello nancy,
their is no need of getting seperate reacording for both header and item. it will be enough if with only one in th lsmw in the first step u select the direct input method
and at source structure level create two strucutres such that one can be for header and the other would be for item
then in the same way while specifying file give first the header file and then the item file.
at the same step check whether the convert data is getting the logical path and file name or not if u dont then double click at that possition and create it. then ur recording will be done perfectly.

Number of plays and last played date

In the current version of iTunes, it no longer seems to update the number of plays for a song or the last played date. (Actually, it does update the date intermittently, but for the most part that feature is no lomger working.) Anyone know how to fix either of these problems?

Do you have crossfade turned on? Several people have reported that it breaks play count updating.
