Last login of user within responsibility

Hi,
Does the last login date of a user within a responsibility exist anywhere?
I am supposed to add this date to an existing report and I can't seem to find it nor can I find this information in the forum.
Thanks.
Leah

Is it possible to create a report of users within a responsibility and use the QP_STATS table to identify the time of the last Discoverer Worksheet they ran? This assumes the QP_STATS option to collect statistics is turned on for all users/responsibilities. I understand this may not be 100% accurate but it may help provide some information on when a login user of a responsibility last ran a query.

  • Script needed to query last logon for users within an AD security group

    Hi all,
I'm looking for a vbscript that will query a specific AD security group, and export the following information into an Excel document:
    1. Full name of the user.
    2. A timestamp of the last logon for each user.
    Any help would be great.

At the moment I'm using a batch script to attempt to query a few different security groups. Below is a line from the script:
dsquery group -samid <group name> | dsquery * -filter "&(objectClass=person)(ObjectCategory=user)" -attr cn lastLogonTimestamp
There a two issues with the command.
    1. The results aren't being pulled from the security group specified.
    2. The timestamp is in an unreadable format. I've understand this needs to be converted?
The Powershell option looks handy, but sadly the clients environment is Server 2003 based with no Powershell option.

  • Date modified timestamps resetting on login (mouse user preferences reset)

    Hi,
Using network accounts on 10.8.2 off a 10.8.2 server.
All files in user directory have 'date modified' timestamps reset to login time.
    This occures for all users.
This I believe is also causing mouse user preferences to be reset on login.
Has anyone come across this problem?
I migrated from 10.7.4 Server to 10.8 Server
    Any ideas anyone?

    Hi
I am just "happy" to see that I'm not the only one having the exact same trouble.
The "date modified" resets to last login time, user preferences (particularly some of the trackpad, keyboard and dock prefs) are thrown away and in part reset to some default values.
My setup is various iMacs with their HomeDirectories on the server, all machines with 10.8.2 (Server) installed.
    Could Apple help?

  • When was the first and last login of a db user

    Hi @ all,
I'm trying to find out the first and the last login of a special db user at an Oracle 10g (10.2.0.1.0) Instance.
    How can I do that?
    Thanks and best regards,
    David

What Nicholas said is true, but depending what you are looking for, you may also search/review audit files created by everytime a sysdba or sysoper session was created by looking in your audit directory.
From within sqlplus, "show parameter audit"
Then, go to that directory and you will see hundreds/thousands of audit files for each time a sysdba or sysoper session was started.
Within those logs are entries such as:
    Tue Mar 12 16:00:00 2013 -04:00
    LENGTH : '155'
    ACTION :[7] 'CONNECT'
    DATABASE USER:[1] '/'
PRIVILEGE :[6] 'SYSDBA' <=========== sysdba or sysoper (I believe this is all that is captured.)
CLIENT USER:[6] 'oracle' <=========== shows the OS user that connected to the database
    CLIENT TERMINAL:[0] ''
    STATUS:[1] '0'
    DBID:[10] '1321231341'

  • Info of Last login details of Users

    Hi
I want to information of last login details of users using MAXL cmd....
is there any such cmd in Maxl which will give out put of users last login..... if so can u any one help me in this
    Thanks
    SSS

This is just one of several areas where MaxL fails to live up to its potential to completely replace Esscmd. Development of MaxL seems to have essentially stagnated after the inclusion of MDX. We still run a handful of Esscmd scripts (such as GetUserInfo so we too can get last login) simply because MaxL does NOT have a substitute for everything Esscmd offers.
The prevailing response I always see is "well, gee, you can always write a Java API program to do ...." which is a fine response for a developer, but kind of weak for those whose primary responsibility is database administration with the occasional script thrown in for good measure. The complexity of System 9 and later releases is now making it virtually mandatory to learn and use Java to accomplish anything. Perhaps I am just pining for the good old days, but making simple things harder than they were before strikes me as a step backwards.
Oh well, enough ranting. Time to make the cubes sing once more.

  • Hi all, can someone help me in getting last login date of a user in CQ5 please?

Hi all, can someone help me in getting last login date of a user in CQ5 please?

CQ is REST based and does not have the concept of session. So there is no feature to track login or logout details.  Most of our customers use some kind of central authentication Ex- SSO hence no need arises to have such functionality built in.  However if needed you have the ability to implement such at a project level solution. Ex:- custom login modules or auth-handler by taking project specific constraints and requirements into account

  • How to find the last login details of a Sharepoint SSRS user

How to /where to find the last login details of SSRS sharepoint user. Is there any table where we can check the last login details of user. This is because we are facing an issue of Subscription failure due to Sharepoint token expiration. If user logs in
before 24 hours of his last login time, he is able to get his report subscription. If not, below error is thrown.
The permission granted to user 'domainname\username' are insufficient to perform this operation.

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to monitor the last login user’s details.
There is no out of the box way to achieve it in SharePoint.
We can use cookie to be a flag for checking whether there is an user just log in. After the page loaded, if the cookie is null, it suggests that there is an user just log in our site, then we
can get this user’s information using JavaScript Object Model and add the information into a custom list. With this list, we can monitor user’s login details.

  • Is there a way to audit user accounts by last login date/time?

    Hello all,
Is there a way to see or report on a user's last login.  I don't see a last login date parameter in the UM record.  I see that all security events are logged in the security log including logon and logoff, but what I need is to be able to produce a report that provides all user accounts which have not been logged on to since a specified date or # of days, i.e. since 01/01/2008 or >180 days.
Any clues or guidance is appreciated.
    Regards,
    Paul

Is there a SAP / Portal standard way of accessing this information?
Our authorisations team have asked me to get them such a report, and I can't find anything on the portal (NW2004) that would give this information. I don't think the basis guys would be terribly chuffed to provide access directly to the database. If this (database access) is the only way, then I suppose a custom developed app could be created and deployed to the portal, but I would have thought this is a reasonalby sensible report so would be standard content somewhere.

  • Need to display last login details to the user after they login into portal

    Hi All,
As per our requirement ,we need to display to the user, the following things:
1.Last login date and time will be maintained and displayed to the user after login.
2.Last unsuccessful login date and time will be maintained and displayed to the user after login.
3.No. of unsuccessful retrials before locking the user will be maintained and displayed to the user after   login.
Therefore we are creating a webdynpro application wherein we are making use of the UME API and trying to retireve these information.
The methods i am using are:
IUserAccount.getLastFailedLogonDate() // To fetch the Last unsuccessful login date and time
IUserAccount.getFailedLogonAttempts() // No. of unsuccessful retrials
IUserAccount.getLastSuccessfulLogonDate() // Last login date and time
But the problem is IUserAccount.getLastSuccessfulLogonDate() is deprecated and i unable to use it,and also i  am unable to get the value *IUserAccount.getFailedLogonAttempts() * I am only geting zero. Can anybody let me know alternative method to get this details.
Request you to guide me and help me to resolve this issue.
    Thanks and Regards,

    Hi,
I hope you are trying to show your login date from SharePoint List.
    My suggestion is
    1. by using ECMA Script ,retrieve values from that list and show the same in Master Page.
    2. If you are not comfortable with ECMA, develop Visual Webpart and add the Visual Webpart in master page by using SharePoint Designer.
Please let me know ,if you need further guidance.
Don't forget to mark it as an Answer if it resolves your issue and Vote Me as helpful if it useful.

  • Wants delete user based on their last login details...

    Hi All,
I have one question regarding oracle database user management. I have approx 300 users in my each Database and I know many of them are not actively used. I want to generate users report based on their last login information. I want to fetch list of users who is not logged in database since last 4 months and are eligible for delete operation.  Please guide me how to find this details.
    Thanks in advance...

user12115, but really even if the logon time was not present and you only had the logoff time you know when the customer last used the system and relistically you could work with that.  Rather than audit user session connection due to the large number of connections/disconnects we have per day we created a database logon event trigger that updates an IOT for the username, logon_date of the OS user connecting.  If no row is updated we insert the username.
Also keep in mind that many web based applications connect to the Oracle rdbms using an application username as not as the real end user.  In such a case auditing will not catch the real end user nor will the logon trigger unless the application uses dbms_application_info to post the real end username to Oracle.  If this is not true in your shop today it might be tomorrow so keep this potential issue in mind.

  • Communication User Last Login

    Hi
I'm currently doing clean up activities for the users who have not logged in the past 180 days. Running a suim report shows the last login of the 'Dialog User - A', However for the rest of the user types(communication, System, Service, Reference) which are currently used the last login dates back to an incorrect date (Ex: ALEREMOTE). Is there a way to find out when these type of users were last used.
    Sindhu

Which release and SP are you on?
Please compare the same via report RSUSR200.
If you are looking directly in the DB table USR02 and interpreting a single field then you can easily be mislead...
If you want to be sure, then a naming convention for these types of users is usefull... => Push them out to ZZ1 - 9 and use the generic naming feature of the SM19 log (it is optional and requires activation) to log the types of logins.
You can also do this using dynamic filters to gain a first impression of what is running on which server when you cannot "see it" during daylight
    Cheers,

  • User Last Login Time

I'm trying to use DS6 built-in functionality for tracking user's last login time. I created a new password policy and enabled pwdKeepLastAuthTime attribute. Then I tried signing into Access Manager.
According to the documentation, an attribute pwdLastAuthTime should be added to the user entry, but it is not there.
Any ideas how I can get this to work?

Last login time is a feature provided with the new Directory Server password policy implementation introduced in DS 6 and is not part of the compatibility mode. Check the Directory Server password policy compatibility mode:
    $ dsconf get-server-prop ... | grep 'pwd-compat'
    pwd-compat-mode : DS5-compatible-mode
The Directory Server password policy compatibility mode must be advanced past DS5-compatible-mode:
    $ ldapmodify ...
    dn: cn=Password Policy,cn=config
    changetype:modify
    replace:pwdkeeplastauthtime
    pwdkeeplastauthtime:TRUE
    modifying entry cn=Password Policy,cn=config
ldap_modify: DSA is unwilling to perform
ldap_modify: additional info: (Password Policy: modify policy entry) "pwdKeepLastAuthTime: TRUE" is not supported in server mode DS5-compatible-mode ("cn=config" pwdCompat: 0).
    $ dsconf pwd-compat ... to-DS6-migration-mode
    $ dsconf get-server-prop ... | grep 'pwd-compat'
    pwd-compat-mode : DS6-migration-mode
Now it should work. If not, please try binding directly to the directory server as the user (e.g., do an ldapsearch as that user) and check the entry.
