Last Prices option

Hi friends,
I am using SAP B1 8.8, for my limited CRM licensed users, at sales order when they select one item the price comes from item master data, now if they right click on unit price the "last prices" option does not appear, but for an existing document this option appears. I need the option for a new record, how can I achieve this.

Suman

Hi Suman.
With a professional license I don't have any problem. I don't have CRM licenses
Is the Last Prices window opening?
Are you selecting a customer with last prices?

CR CR 2011 / "Crystal reports For Visual Studio 2010", you are correct.
Re. the database thinggy. You can connect to a database via ODBC, OLE DB or in some instances natively. Once a report is created you an change the datasource. A good sample app on how to do this is  csharp_win_dbengine / vb_win_dbengine. A link to the samples is here:
Crystal Reports for .NET SDK Samples - Business Intelligence (BusinessObjects) - SCN Wiki
More info on connecting to dbs and changing them is in the developer help files:

SAP Crystal Reports .NET API Guide
More info on CR APIs for .NET (applies to all versions of CR and VS):
Crystal Reports for Visual Studio 2005 Walkthro... | SCN
You can also use ADO .NET Datasets and in this way you handle the database connections in your app. A good sample is csharp_win_adodotnet (also available in VB) - same link as above.
    More info on datasets:
    Crystal Reports Guide To ADO.NET
Crystal Reports for Visual Studio .NET - Walkthrough - Reporting Off ADO.NET Datasets
For more complicated operations (e.g.; changing a report from ODBC to OLE DB, changing one table, etc., you will want to use the InProc RAS SDK that is also available in CRVS. Developer help files are here:
Report Application Server .NET SDK Developer Guide
Report Application Server .NET API Guide
    Sample apps are here:
NET RAS SDK Samples - Business Intelligence (BusinessObjects) - SCN Wiki
    and here:
Crystal Reports .NET In Process RAS (Unmanaged) SDK Sample Applications
    More info on RAS SDK:
How to Use The RAS SDK .NET With In-Process RAS Server
Lastly, do use the search box in the top right corner. I find simple search strings such as 'crystal net parameter' return best results (KBAs, Blogs, docs, wikis, discussions and more).

  • Missing functionality Request: report "last prices" with BP name

In the report "last prices" (if Checkbox "BP code" is not checked) one sees only the GP code and not the BP name. This is very unfavorable if an item was very often sold in several customers.

I am not using form , it's just done in report, that is i am not calling the report from a form , just from a menu.
:last_name is a report_paramter that i created on the report.
you're right the first assignmnt is
    AND UPPER( db column) LIKE
I have a paramter form on the report with a field last name and I am letting the user enter last name there which gets stored in the :last_name

    Rodolfo,
    your solution works,
    :p_where_clause := ' AND UPPER( db_column ) LIKE (' ||''''||'%'||UPPER(Replace(:p_2,chr(39), chr(39)||chr(39)))||'%'||''''||')' ;
but i dont quite understand how this is working
    Replace(:p_2,chr(39), chr(39)||chr(39))
    i have never used chr

  • Multiple Price options while creation of PO

    Hi SAP Gurus,
The client requirement is that to have multiple price options at the time of creation of PO.can we achieve this through standard SAP, if not any workarounds OR any development needed? If it is development please provide me some logic .

    Yashaswini

    Hi,
Better go for different price for same material with validity period in  condition record in t.code:MEK1. For example:
    Material -----Material Price --------Validity
    M1--------------230---------------------01-05-2014 to 31-05-2014
    M1--------------240---------------------01-06-2014 to 30-06-2014
    M1--------------250---------------------01-07-2014 to 31-05-2014
    M1--------------260---------------------01-08-2014 to 31-05-2014
    OR
Go for using of split valuation and maintain different price for same material with different  valuation types.

  • Last Prices is not working in SAPB1 2007

    Hi all,
I just upgrade my sapb1 from version 2005 patch 36 to version 2007 patch 37. I found that the last prices feature, is not function in SAPB1 version 2007. Anyone have face it before?
    Regards
    Wong

    Hi Wong,
I'm using pl 38  & it works fine. You can call the report up from 2 different locations:
1.) From the SAP Business One Main Menu, choose  Inventory->  Inventory Reports -> Last Prices Report .
2.) In a sales or purchasing document, place the cursor in the Unit Price field and press Ctrl + Tab. The values are copied automatically from the document.
To generate the report, enter the necessary information and choose Refresh.
Please be careful about your selection criteria, e.g. if you have selected a specific BP & you have not traded with this BP before with this item, there will be no data displayed.
    All the best,
    Kerstin

  • Last Price report only allow sales price to view

    Dear all expert,
The last price report included sales & purchase price. The customer wanted only sales employee to view customer sales price and block purchase price to view on the last price report.
Is that any alternative way & available function on latest version 8.8?
    Thanks in advance..
    Regards,
    Eric

    Dear all,
The standard authorization didn't allow to do that. I'm thinking it only available disable the purchase document or block the vendor code to be selected on last price report.
Unfortunately, i dun have any idea about how to write the code. Any idea?Or sample?
    Thanks.

  • Last price in a purchase requisition

    Hello to everyone,
is there any way to get in a purchase requisition the last price of a purchase order for a material without any development?
    Regards

    Dear,
The price which you see in the Purchase Requisition generally comes from Material master record.Same you can see in MM03 under accounting 1 view.
This is the valuation price which generally fetches in MMR after calculating Moving average / standard  price .
The same price will fetch in Purchase requisitoin which signifies the valuation price of material.
So it will never fetch your Last PO price in the PR.
    Hope it helps.

  • Last Price Report

    Hello experts,
in a Sales order when doing ctrl+tab on the price after discount, a "Last price report" pops up with various selection criterias,
do you know if we could get this report from the menu or somewhere else without having to go thu the SO?
    Thanks,
    Christophe

    Hi Christope.......
It is possible through user defined query......
    SELECT Top 10 T0.CardName, t1.ItemCode, T1.Price, T0.DocNum  FROM OINV T0 Inner Join INV1 T1 On T0.DocEntry=T1.DocEntry
    --where T1.ItemCode=$[POR1.ItemCode.0]
    Order By T0.DocDate DESC
    Try above.....

    1/9/15    | 212        | 5

    Nothing is impossible

Something like this will work as well...
    IF OBJECT_ID('tempdb..#temp') IS NOT NULL
    DROP TABLE #temp
    GO
    CREATE TABLE #temp (
    TranNum INT PRIMARY KEY,
    TranDate date,
    PartNum int,
    Price decimal(10,2)
CREATE UNIQUE NONCLUSTERED INDEX ix_Temp_PartNum_TranDate ON #temp (
    PartNum,
    TranDate
    INCLUDE (
    Price
    WITH (DATA_COMPRESSION = PAGE)
    INSERT INTO #temp (TranNum,TranDate,PartNum,Price)
    VALUES
    (1 ,'1/1/15 ',111,5),
    (2 ,'1/5/15 ',212,7),
    (3 ,'1/7/15 ',111,4.5),
    (4 ,'1/8/15 ',212,6),
    (5 ,'1/9/15 ',212,5)
    SELECT
    t1.TranNum,
    t1.TranDate,
    t1.PartNum,
    t1.Price
    FROM
    #temp t1
    WHERE EXISTS (
    SELECT 1
    FROM #temp t2
    WHERE t1.PartNum = t2.PartNum
    GROUP BY t2.PartNum
    HAVING t1.TranDate = MAX(t2.TranDate)
Please note... Without any indexing on PartNum & TranDate, my solution will perform about the same as Martin's solution (currently the fasted of the supplied solutions).
Adding the following index, however, will show that the "EXISTS" solution can dramatically out perform the "NOT EXISTS" solution...
    IF OBJECT_ID('tempdb..#temp') IS NOT NULL
    DROP TABLE #temp
    GO
    CREATE TABLE #temp (
    TranNum INT PRIMARY KEY,
    TranDate date,
    PartNum int,
    Price decimal(10,2)
CREATE UNIQUE NONCLUSTERED INDEX ix_Temp_PartNum_TranDate ON #temp (
    PartNum,
    TranDate
    INCLUDE (
    Price
    WITH (DATA_COMPRESSION = PAGE)
    INSERT INTO #temp (TranNum,TranDate,PartNum,Price)
    VALUES
    (1 ,'1/1/15 ',111,5),
    (2 ,'1/5/15 ',212,7),
    (3 ,'1/7/15 ',111,4.5),
    (4 ,'1/8/15 ',212,6),
    (5 ,'1/9/15 ',212,5)
    SELECT
    t1.TranNum,
    t1.TranDate,
    t1.PartNum,
    t1.Price
    FROM
    #temp t1
    WHERE EXISTS (
    SELECT 1
    FROM #temp t2

  • User Defined Field that gives the date output of the last price update.

We would like to create a User Defined Field (UDF) with a Formatted Search (FMS) on the Item Master form that gives the date output of the last price update specifically the wholesale price.
    Last Price Update
    Pricelist 2 = Wholesale
    Is this feasible?
If it is feasible what is the recommended approach?
Current working UDF on Item Master.
/* Date output is based on all the latest updates on the Item Master.*/
    select max(updatedate)
    from aitm
    where itemcode = $[oitm.itemcode]

    Thank you Gordon,
We are looking for the date output of the 'Last Price Update' based on 'Pricelist 2 = Wholesale' which is the challenge.
These 2 are the parameters for the date output, I should have mentioned that in my original message.
    Last Price Update
    Pricelist 2 = Wholesale
Per reading a bunch of other similar Forum Questions it looked like it is might not be possible to do. With there being no date on the AIT1 table and AITM.Updatedate is based on any and all updates not just last 'Last Price Update' and not sure how to use the loginstanc.
    Thanks,

  • When I go to: Show Columns Last Opened option is disabled. Why is that and how can I change it?

When I go to Finder View Options>Show Columns> Last Opened option is disabled. Why is that and How can I change it?

OK, I think what you are curious about is this:
Open a Finder window and put the window into List view. Now go to View->Show View Options, and you get a little window with various choices, including this list of the kinds of columns you can have in the original window:
I had never paid much attention to the list, but AFAIK the "Last Opened" option is ONLY available when you have a Search window open:
And lots of the other options are then unavailable.

  • Where I find last price of a material?

    Hi,
I need to consult the last price of a material, Does exists a table that has this data?
I consult the A006 table but it's very very slow. I suposse that this table has the history.
    Thanks for your attention.
    Maria C.

    hi,
You can get the price of a material from table MBEW.
    Price  =   mbew-stprs / mbew-peinh .
You can provide the period to get teh price of material in a specific period.

  • Last price copied from purchasing document

    Hello all,
I have business requirements where they would like to hide the price at Purchase Order from buyer. They would like to have this control so that buyer could not change price unnecessarily.
I tried using role to control where I remove ACTVT = 09 (display price) under authorization object M_BEST_BSA. With this ACTVT=09 remove, buyer is not able to see the "Net Price" column anymore.
My problem is when buyer creates Purchase Order with an expired info record.
When buyer creates a Purchase Order with an expired info record, although there is an error "Please enter Net Price" and when buyer keys in the info record, the price somehow is adopted from the last purchasing document and thus, buyer could create a Purchase Order.
I understand that in MM customizing there is an option to set "Do not copy price" which need to be maintain in buyer's profile at "Parameter" tab which we are currently practicing.
However, business has disagree with this option because buyer is still able to delete the parameter maintain in their profile.
Discussed with Basis before to remove authorization from user to maintain user parameter (SU3) however, they also rejected my suggestion.
Thus, I need your help to figure out if there is any other option to solve this issue.
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Santthi.

For further clarification the PO is referencing a contract and as such not pulling the pricing information from the info record and instead pulling the price from the conditions on the contract.
I want to change the pricing date category from " No Control" to "5 GR Date" however I'm receiving the error message stated and unsure of how to make this change.
The intent is not to create a new PO each day the condition record is created and instead we are utilizing one PO referencing one contract with multiple date delimited condition records containing the daily pricing.

  • "Continue where I left off" or "Open pages from last time" option not working in any browser after updating to 10.9.2

Configured all browsers to start from previous session everytime. But whenver I open any browser it opens with the Homepage. Please let me know how to fix this issue.

That shouldnt be the solution I guess. I have to do that every time I open any browser. Also I usually have minimum 10 tabs open in all browsers so I don't think thats a feasible option of reopening it. I use safari, chrome and mozilla and none of them restores the last session on startup.
