Last song on albums not matching?

Anyone else had this happen?
Seems 70 percent of my non matching songs, are strangely the last songs on the albums.
This has happened with songs I originally ripped from CDs, downloaded from iTunes,
as well as Amazon and other stores.
I've been told they could be corrupt? If so, any reason the last tracks would be more likely to be corrupt
than any others?
Thanks
G

It may be because of the new way to organize the songs in iTunes. If you go to your library in iTunes, at the top right, you will see 3 view selections. Click the middle one. This organizes the songs by album. Pick a random album, write down the order of the songs, and compare it to the order on your iPod. Just a thought.

This is a known issue and at this time there is no fix. The workaround is to disable iTM on the iOS device and sync the mismatched songs via USB/Thunderbolt then re-enable iTM. This way you will be assured of having the "correct" version of the track on your device.

I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean. Do you mean you have music stored on your iPod Classic that is not also in your iTunes library? If that is the case, then of course those songs won't be matched or uploaded. A song must be in your iTunes library for it to be processed by the iTunes Match service.
Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device

  • TS4124 Is there an option not to upload songs that are not matched in the iTunes library

I don't want to upload all songs not matched, not necessary and adds no value. Should be an option to skip this step and proceed after matching all songs in iTunes library

Please disregard. I found the problem. The 3 songs were duplicates so everything was synching correctly.

  • Spotify doesn't play last song of album or playlist

In the desktop Windows app, it's been a common occurance for a few Spotify adds to play after the second to last song on an album or playlist.  Then after the adds are done, it doesn't play the last song on the album or playlist and performs as if you're done listening to your selection.  It can be annoying to have to manually play a song you wanted to hear because it was the last song and didn't play for some arbitrary reason.  Can you please check on this? Thanks!

    Hello:
Which Spotify desktop app version, and which Windows version are you currently using that this is happening with?

  • Petition: Play an Artist's Songs By Album,Not Alphabetica

It irritates me to see that if I select an artist's songs,I can only play them alphabetically. Does this irritate you? If so,just sign this petition.

Ordinarily you just switch to the Artist > Album view, as opposed to the Artist > All Tracks view. Then you can use the menu to add each selected album to the queue. Not ideal, but relati'vely quick to do.
It would be nice to see an automatic option though, so signed.

  • ITunes 7.0.1 doesn't finish last song of album

Since upgrading to 7.0.1, iTunes plays all the songs of an album, incrementing the play-count, except the last one, where it ceases to play, 0 secs from the end, without incrementing the play count.
Is there any way to kick it into actually finishing?

I have the same problem. It's very annoying. This happened to me sporadically in iTunes 7.0.0 - it happens EVERY time in 7.0.1.
It doesn't only happen on albums - it also occurs on every playlist, and on every set of search results - when it gets to the end of the last track in the set, it hangs.

    Hi,
What is the iCloud status of these tracks?
You can add icloud status column to song view - go to menu > view> view options and tick box. This will tell you what has been Matched, Uploaded, Purchased, Inelligible, Duplicate or Waiting.

  • Photos in last import, smart album, not in events, or photos

I just build a new iPhoto library, from a large folder of masters.  It took many hours to complete, and all photos and events showed up that I imported.
I exited the program, had it commit all changes to database.
I reopened iPhoto and imported my iPhone's camera roll.  I went into photos, and events, and none of the photos display there.
If I look in last import, OR if I look in a smart album from "last 4 weeks", all photos and videos are there.
What can I do to sort this?  Again, I just built this new iPhoto library from scratch on the latest version.
    Thanks all.
    Product:
    iPhoto 9.2.1 (628)
    OSX Lion 10.7.2

I figured it out, but in case anyone else has simliar issues.  I had imported a camera roll that dated back to July and had pictures up to November.  Sorting by date, with event titles, that event inserted itself far below some of my more current photos.  Going to VIEW while on PHOTOS menu and unticking EVENT TITLES, sorts photos purely on date.  This is functionality I wanted.  Hope that helps anyone in same boat.
    Cheers much.

  • Song title does not match song played

I purchased a song im 2010 from Itunes and it downloaded.  It played fine until recently.  Itunes said I had a download waiting, so I downloaded it.  Now, when I play the song, it isn't the song I bought.  The title of the song is correct, but I have no idea what song is playing.  Unfortunately, I didn't realize it got messed up until I updated all my devices.

  • Music Match will not match most of my music.  It is simply ordinary music.

Many of my songs won't match.  If i dig out the CD and reload it onto my Windows 7 PC, the songs match perfectly.  But I did not think I should have to do that.  I thought Music Match would do this for me.

As I mentioned in my last post, Music Match has been driving me crazy.  So I worked on it for a while and came up with a partial solution.  It turns out that my iTunes list has many duplicates, which I believe arise because I put the same song in multiple playlists.
So I looked at a playlist on my PC that had a Cloud with a line through it and identified the songs that were not matched.  Then, one by one, I went to the Music list at the top left in iTunes and filtered for the song that was not matched.  Turns out that about 75% of the time there was a matched version of the song, along with several duplicates and errors.  I could move the matched version into my playlist and delete the unmatched version.
About 25% of the time, there was no matched version.  So I right clicked on a version marked Ineligible and created an ACC Version.  It takes a while for iTunes to accomplish this, but for most of the songs I was looking for, it worked.
Once I got rid of the loathsome little cloud next to the Playlist name, the Playlist moved immediately to my iPad2 and iPhone.
I would have thought that Apple might have explained this somewhere on their site.  Maybe I have missed it.  It sure is not elegant – but I was able to go for a run this morning using my newest favorite playlist, even though it contains a number of old songs.

  • Inventory in warehouse report value does not match balance sheet account

    Dear experts,
When I run the inventory in warehouse report, the value (using last purchase price) does not match the inventory finished goods account. Can you please advise why?
    Thank you for any advice.
    Jane

    Dear Jane,
The only report for inventory to link to financial statement would be Inventory Audit Report.
All other reports are just for your convenience. They are not financial based.

  • My album artwork does not match the song in my playlists

After making playlists with music purchased from itunes in my music app, the art work does not match the title of the song / album. How can I fix this problem?

    Hi freezerman84,
Thanks for the question. I understand you are experiencing issues with Album Artwork on your iPhone 5. To troubleshoot this issue, it may be best to completely resync your iPhone with iTunes. To do so, uncheck the "Sync Music" checkbox, and apply the changes (so there is ultimately no music syncing to your iPhone).
Once you have done that, recheck the "Sync Music" checkbox, and apply the changes. This will instruct iTunes to completely remove all music from your iPhone, and then copy the files once more. If you have a large amount of music, this initial sync may take a while.
If the above does not resolve your issue, it may be necessary to restore your iPhone:

  • IPhone would not let me delete individual song from library, tried deleting album to remove music from local storage, now certain songs from album do not show in iTunes match on iPhone only on computer

Upon completion of matching and uploading my very large library of music (+15,000), I wanted to see how iTunes Match worked on my iPhone. I started it and selected the first album in the list to listen to. I let it play the entire album and then decided that I wanted to remove certain songs off of the iPhone's local storage. Tried to delete the individual songs and it would not let me. So I figured that I would go back and just delete the album. After selecting delete I went back to listen to one of the songs on the album and realized that it deleted several of the songs from the iTunes Match completely. When pulling iTunes up on my computer the songs are still there but does not give me the option to upload to iTunes Match.
I have tried turning off Match on iPhone and back on (doesn't seem to do anything cause when turned off the iPhone still displays the music.)
Then tried power cycling. (Still shows the music)
Then I tried power cycling again and resyncing the phone and the iPhone still shows the music as it was on the phone.
How do I get the music to be accessable on the iPhone again.. I have been messing with this for the course of 3 hours now.. and any help would be appreciated!!
    iPhone 3GS 8GB

Actually Michael I know exactly how to delete.. The iPhone would not let me swipe to the left to delete the individual song, so I went to the album view and did it there.. The issue I am having is a bug because it removed 3/4 of the albums availablity off my iPhone.. You post proved no help because it is basic troubleshooting which, if you read my post, I have already done.. I did however figure out how to fix my issue on my own.. Basically I had to remove the album from my iTunes on my computer and upload it again to iTunes Match..
