Last version for a Pentium III processor

I have a very old Thinkpad 600x that has a Pentium III (coppermine) processor. The current system requirements for the latest versions of Firefox reference a Pentium 4.
I'm currently running 3.5.13. None of the current add ons work with this version. What is the last version of Firefox that will work with a PIII? Operating system is XP, SP3. I want to install some form of Ad Block, and none are compatible with 3.5.13.

This is a 450 mhz processor. Computer was built in 2000 and still works like a charm. But so much today requires newer, faster hardware. The HD on this thing is only 25G, but it originally came with a 10G HD.
I should think that there might be vast numbers of people out there with functional, but outdated, hardware who still need to access the web and be safe and secure. It kind of upsets me that Mozilla would not continue to support the browsers that work for people in that situation.

  • Last version for the most important files in CR10 (and CR Server 10)

Is there any place online where I could find the last version for (at least the most important) files in Crystal Reports 10 and Crystal Reports Server 10?
I have all kind of strange errors (subreports not being rendered first time when I see the page through Activex Viewer, but fine when I am visualizing the same page for the 2nd time, all kind of diferrences between the CR devel environment and what is seen in ActiveX viewer, and I want to be sure I have the very last version of it installed before asking my boss to buy CR 2008 (and waiting for CR Server 2008...)

The last Service Packs for Crystal Reports 10 is [here|http://support.businessobjects.com/downloads/service_packs/crystal_reports_en.asp#CR10].
The last Service Packs for Crystal Enterprise 10 is [here|http://support.businessobjects.com/downloads/service_packs/enterprise_en.asp].
Another important data point when considering upgrading:  Crystal Enterprise 10 is now out of support, and Crystal Reports 10 will be out of support at the end of this year.

  • Adobe flash version for os x 10.5.8  which is most stable??

    thanks

Depends entirely on what Mac you have.
You can check here:  http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/  to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS. Note that version 10,1,102,64 is the last version available to PPC Mac users*. The latest version,10.3.183.23 or later, is for Intel Macs only running Tiger or Leopard, as Adobe no longer support the PPC platform. Version 11.4.402.265 or later is for Snow Leopard onwards.
(If you are running Mavericks: After years of fighting malware and exploits facilitated through Adobe's Flash Player, the company is taking advantage of Apple's new App Sandbox feature to restrict malicious code from running outside of Safari in OS X Mavericks.)
    * Unhelpfully, if you want the last version for PPC (G4 or G5) Macs, you need to go here:  http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/142/tn_14266.html  and scroll down to 'Archived Versions/Older Archives'. Flash Player 10.1.102.64 is the one you download. More information here:  http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/838/cpsid_83808.html
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/909/cpsid_90906.html
and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications (including Safari) first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe.
After installing, reboot your Mac and relaunch Safari, then in Safari Preferences/Security enable ‘Allow Plugins’. If you are running 10.6.8 or later:
When you have installed the latest version of Flash, relaunch Safari and test.
If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, then in System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
click Check Now. Quit and relaunch your browser.

  • Software availability for the new intel processors

Does anyone have an idea of when the Logic Pro/Express or Reason version for the new intel processors will be available?? or what software does already work with this technology, other than GarageBand?? Thanx!

Logic Pro and Express 7.2 are available now, and are universal binaries.
Propellerheads hasn't announced a timeframe for a UB version of Reason, so no one knows.

  • Is Intel Pentium T4300 a member of Pentium-M processors?

Sorry for the lame question but I am reading for the linux-ck kernels and in their repo there is ck-pentm package which they claim to be optimized for the Pentium-M processors which are for notebooks. Since I have a notebook and a pentium processor is it a pentium-M?
    My processor is Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU       T4300  @ 2.10GHz <- this is from /proc/cpuinfo

    There's nothing like http://ark.intel.com/products/37253/Int … 0-MHz-FSB) in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_In … processors - just look at the TDP difference.

  • What is the last version of the Apple OS that supports Eudora and Quake III? (I'm at 10.4.11)

    Hi There,
I am having vertical line issues with my G4 PowerMac Quicksilver (April 2002)..  Red or purple lines and sometimes they connect to the pointer arrow.
I thought it was the graphics card but when I ran the Apple Hardware Test Disk version   1.2.5 it failed at the Logic board, although it's an after market Logic board because one of my (2) 1 gig processors died a few years back so I don't know if the hardware test disk is still valid with an after market Logic board?
Also What is the last version of the Apple OS that supports Eudora 6.2.4  and Quake III? (I'm at 10.4.11)
Thanks for any and all help, I think my time is limited in my old Mac..
    Eric

    Hi-
I'd strongly recommend replacing the thermal compound on the Radeon 9800 Pro. It could very easily be a simple matter of lack of cooling which is causing your issue.
    I have a tutorial here:
    C874D84E-96DD-4DFF-9566-7C66BE065BB5.html
    16196A0F-952B-47ED-A9F9-91F7B0ECA431.html
    Use Arctic cooling MX-4 compound.
As for drivers or ROM updates, if the card is a flashed one, don't bother with the firmware. All ROMs are the latest firmware.
In Tiger, there is a retail driver update that you can try:
    http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/jan2005updater.aspx
    No updates needed for Leopard.
    Eudora should be fine:
    http://lowendmac.com/misc/10mr/mb0910.html#1
Quake is fine. This coincides with my observations:

  • What does iTunes FORCE YOU to download the last version of their software to use their store? The new program is too much for my computer!

This totally *****...iTunes 10 is too much of a memory hog for my POS computer. I have to turn off all other apps just to use it and even then it still runs SLOW. I think iTunes = Extorition. Why force us to use it? They just want to track your personal data. That's pretty evil. The best iTunes version for my computer was iTunes 7. But it won't let me use store on iTunes 7. F@#$*%s!
Instead of making the program more streamlined, they make the next version LARGER FILE SIZE and more of a memory hog.
Apple should be making each successive version a SMALL FILE SIZE and less of a drain on memory.

The problem is a lot of PC's are sold cheap with 5 year old processors and graphic cards in them.
Windows doesn't defrag on the fly, you have to run anti-virus all the time. The PC vendor installs all their "crapware" on the machine too.
Also most PC's don't come with hardly any RAM neither, most people don't know computer specs, don't know how to look up their prospetive machine on the internet and see if they are getting their money's worth.
Microsoft is a enemy too, they allow "toolbars" Acive X and purposely bloat their operating system so it forces you to buy a new one.
At least with iTunes you have a choice to buy your music ANYWHERE, you could have kept on using iTunes 7, just you would have had to buy your music via cd's or another website like Amazon etc.
Microsoft has really bloated down the last few updates of Windows, I replaced all the old Dells with 512MB of RAM and 16 year old single core Cellerons with copies of Linux Like XP so the seniors at a local center can still get on the internet if they need too.
Still even with that the last few updates of Linux have been a bit rough for those old machines, but for the net that's good enough.
    LOL!
(Although I don't know if the OP will be in the mood to "get it.")

  • Intel(R) Atom(TM)/Celeron(R)/Pentium(R) Processor need driver for Windows 10

After upgrade to Windows 10. This device drive does not work. I went to the HP driver download site and down loaded and installed  <  Intel Trusted Execution Engine Interface (TXE) Driver for the supported notebook models running a supported operating system. The Intel Trusted Execution Engine Interface enables the Secure Boot and provides services required for platform security features such as Intel Platform Trust Technology (Intel PPT). File name:  sp69602.exe
    Release details
    Released: Nov 21, 2014

    Dear Sir,
In my HP notebook pc in Device manager,, other devices need to insatall a driver,, that hardware id is :
    ACPI\VEN_INT&DEV_33BD&REV_0002
    ACPI\VEN_INT&DEV_33BD
    ACPI\INT33BD
    *INT33BD
i think that devices is Intel(R) Atom(TM)/Celeron(R)/Pentium(R) Processor MBI Device - 33BD and Intel(R) Atom(TM)/Celeron(R)/Pentium(R) Processor Trusted Execution Engine Interface.
but how to download and install this drivers.. please give a download link to install these drivers..
    Thanks..

    Hi  ,
Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A great place where you can find solutions for your issues, with help from the community!
I came across your post about the Notebook, and wanted to assist you! I have looked into your issue about your  HP 15-r011dx Notebook and issues with the Intel(R) Atom(TM)/Celeron(R)/Pentium(R) Processor MBI Device driver.
Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system  that need updating. To install Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5, you have to go to the control panel>programs>turn Windows Features on/off and check the box to install  Microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 which is not automatically included in Windows 8.1. What happens if you right click on the driver and select update? Have you also tried to rollback the driver? Please let me know. Thanks.

You an use your iPhone without connecting it to a computer.
But the product description for the iPhone clearly states that in order to sync with a Mac you must have OSX 10.6.8 or later. That version of the OSX is usually called Snow Leopard. There are two mo recent versions of OSX. OSX 10.7.x (Lion) and OSX 10.8.x (Mountain Lion).
If you can upgrade your computer to at least Snow Leopard I suggest you do so.

It doesn't look like there is a fix yet, but some people in the thread are pointing to this workaround:

Following some suggestion i seem to have found a solution for the problem and my play/pause, next and previous buttons work with iTunes 10.4.1
    - You need to open a text editor (like notepad) as an administrator.
    - Open the SetPoint players.ini file (C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPointP\players.ini)
    - Edit the line under the [Players] section to match the line bellow (bold is the wndClass which is to be changed)
    iTunes=wac,iTunes.exe,ITWindow,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,0,1,iTunes
    - Save the file
    - Restart the SetPoint and hopefully play/pause, next and previous buttons should work (at least they work for me)

I also have Jolly's problem. I found the iMovie 9.0.9 folder and tried to launch the older version of iMove. It would not launch. I removed all of the iMovie preferences from the Preferences folder, removed iMove 10 from the applications folder, and restarted my Mac. iMove 9.0.9 still won't launch and I can't access my videos created with the older version of iMovie. Is there a way to uninstall iMovie 10 and reinstall iMovie 9.0.9?
