Late 2013 mbp nvidia 750m cuda driver problem Adobe Af

i cannot understand
nvidia 750 m
i cannot use it on Adobe cc Af and Pr
cuda cannot work ,Why ?

Hi,
it took me finally 4 days to setup Windows 7 via bootcamp. The drivers that are downloaded via bootcamp do not work when installing from a flash drive. Here is what I did to fix the issue with "CD/DVD driver missing...." which would show right after you select the language during installation.
While in OS X, go to the intel website and download the the driver for USB 3.0. Place the file on your windows partition. Boot again, hold the option key and select your flash drive which has the Windows 7 installer on it. Once you get the error message, click browse and locate the driver on your windows partition. Once installed, Windows 7 installs without any problems.

  • Late 2013 MBP "Boot Camp x64 is unsupported on this computer model"

Hey yall, some help would be fantastic.
Got my brand new Late 2013 MBP (top end model with the Nvidia GeForce GT 750M) on Thursday and had no problems getting it set up.  Having gotten the OSX side all set up, last night I Bootcamped it. The new Bootcamp Assistant did a great job of loading my Windows 7 ISO onto one Flash drive and Bootcamp Assistant 5.0.5433 on the other Flash drive.
Had no problems during installation but the Bootcamp Support Tools didn't install, so I went to install it (attempted to run the setup file) and received this error:
    Uh oh.
Using the internet (on my iPad) I was able to learn of a workaround to call the installation by negotiating to "Bootcamp\Drivers\Apple\" and executing the Bootcamp.msi as admin.  It appeared to install everything.
However, when I went to change the resolution, I noticed that Windows was using a generic driver and that my max resolution was 1600x1200.
If I could launch a game w/out it immediately crashing, I would have chalked it up to Windows being Windows, but they did and I started digging (assuming that it was an application issue). Tried installing drivers downloaded from Nvidia's website for the 750M but they failed to find applicable hardware.  Now concerned, I validated that I had received the correct version of MBP.
Eventually used a tool from M$'s website to remove the Bootcamp Support Software and then downloaded Bootcamp Support Software version 5.0.5033, where I ran into the exact same issue. Perhaps related, perhaps not, but the wireless on the Windows side takes a long time to connect and appears unreliable/periodically slow.  That suggests that the wireless drivers weren't installed correctly either.
I have no problem reinstalling Windows, but I'm not convinced that its the problem.  The initial error message suggests to me that the Bootcamp Support Software isn't recognizing my MBP.  Any thoughts?
    Thanks!

  • My late 2013 MBP Retina battery gets only about 4 hrs. What might be wrong?

My late 2013 MBP Retina battery gets only about 4 hrs. What might be wrong?

    I found a solution!
Perhaps this is just temporary, but I have my display up and working again.
Although the symptoms are different were a bit different, the solution here worked:
    http://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/120259/grey-screen-after-login-blue-scr een-of-death-from-cmdr
As I was able to connect to my HD via an external monitor, in the finder, I went to:
    1. Macintosh HD --> System --> Library --> Extensions
    2. From there I moved all of the files that started with ADM and ATI (19 in total for me) to a folder on my desktop. (You will need to enter your admin password for this)
    3. Next was a restart.
    4. Then my display started working again.
    5. After that, I transferred the files back into my Extensions folder.
    6. I then did another restart with my fingers crossed and breath held. It worked.
Also... During the last few days of trying to find a fix, I restored a Mavericks backup to my computer away from Yosemite.
I'm very sure this problem occurred when I put my MBP to sleep, disconnected the power in its sleep, while something was connected to a USB port and unplugging the USB device (for me an iPhone charger) while the MBP was closed.
I hope this helps the next person.

  • Can I upgrade memory/SSD on late 2013 MBP retina?

I have late 2013 MBP retina, 2.4 ghz, 11,1., basic 4GB and 125GB. I checked with OWC and they yet to have any solutions to upgrade. Am I stuck with this? Wanting to do some video editing and afraid I'll be bogged down.

No. Neither are user-upgradeable in that model. What makes you feel you will be bogged down? If you need more disk space just add an external USB drive. You should have sufficient RAM if you don't try to run far too many applications concurrently for the memory installed.

  • Late 2013 MBP Retina display stains

Late 2013 MBP Retina display stains, getting worse.
I am always very carefully with my mac, still the display always looks smudged. Even when I just close the lid, for transport, I have like the keyboard printed on my display when I open it again. Now I discovered more and more light spots which can't be wiped of at all.
There is obviously a problem with these retina displays.
I am very disappointed I have to say. I'm out of warranty but I can't believe that I pay € 2.600,- and get a display like that!
    Please Apple, do something…

While booting the apple logo is purple and the the grey screen turn yellow for a second.

Hello. On my MacBook Air late 2013 model I am having a problem with Microsoft office word for Mac where the window for the document becomes all gray and I can not see anything that I have typed or any menus for it and also windows will sometimes dissapear and I am having truble getting them back. If anyone has anyideas of what is going on or could even help me thank you.

    Glad that helped.
As time goes by (months or years), keep your eyes on how long Microsoft continues to support Office 2011 for Mac.  Eventually you should consider Office 365 or Apple's Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.

Computer is balky random freezes across apps. Two hard drive cleans later (their scan reveals no hard drive problems) photo shop won't work at all, magic touch mouse inoperable and their diagnoses is corrupted data? Anybody heard of this?

Well, yes, data does get corrupted sometimes.
The trick is finding what data.
By 'cleaned' are you therefor meaning that the drive has been erased and the system re-installed?
Because that's the quickest way to deal with such a situation.
Back up the system first of course,
Add back 3rd party apps one at a time in case one of them is causing the problem.

  • Best way to set up two thunderbolt displays and thunderbolt ethernet on a Late 2013 MBP with only 2 thunderbolt ports?

I have a late 2013 MBP with only 2 thunderbolt ports. I want to set up two external displays (both have usb ports on the back but not thunderbolt so I can't daisy-chain) but one of my thunderbolt ports is being taken up by the ethernet adapter. Is it possible to convert one of my displays to plug into my open HDMI slot? Or is it better to use the two thunderbolt ports for the two displays and switch the ethernet to the slower usb adapter?

You can use a HDMI to DVI adapter if the display resolution is not greater than 1920 x 1200.
    <http://startech.com/Cables/Audio-Video/HDMI/>
or you could use wireless for your network connection.
    <http://www.apple.com/airport-express/>
If you use 5GHz, it should be nearly as fast as Ethernet.

  • 2008 MPB (OSX 10.8 Mountain Lion) to late 2013 MBP (Mavericks) - Backup

    Hi
    I have a 2008 Macbook Pro w/ OSX 10.8.5 Mountain Lion.  I ordered a late 2013 Macbook Pro 15"
I purchased a 2TB external hard drive.  I am thinking to not use time machine, but instead, start from "scratch" with the new MBP.  That is, backup my files and software install files to the external drive.  Then, when I get the new MBP, install the s/w and copy the files I would want on it (not everything as the current MBP drive I have is 1TB and the new MBP will have the 512GB SSD)
Then, when I have the new MBP setup, I could start using Time Machine etc.. and sell my old MPB
I wanted to get feedback on this, is this a bad idea to start from scratch?  I figured it might be easier since I dont have Mavericks now, and starting from scratch would be less headache since the new MBP has mavericks already, and it will be a smaller HD, and I have read about issues people have with s/w not working when migrating or upgrading to Mavericks.
I dont use ITunes, just have a lot of folders of MP3s.  I do use IMovie, and read, that you can copy your movie folders/projects over to an external hard drive and save them there, and whichever ones I might want on the new MPB, I could copy over.
I also use VirtualBox, but I figure, it would be better to copy the Virtual Image files over and install VirtualBox from scratch as well.
I also code (python, java), but it is not an intricate development environment that I have setup.
    Thanks

I too am a fan of it.  That said, i just did two plain old upgrades from 10.6.8 on advice from people here. Both worked just fine.
If you clean install, i would first make a regular, old-fashioned bootable clone. My preferred method is Carbon Copy Cloner ($40).  Then you have a) a way to go backwards in a pinch, b) a complete backup, and c) a way to get access to the individual files and move them over.
test that your machine boots from the external drive.
Beware, some od the file locations (mail is prominent) have moved.  You may have some challenges there.
Your "home" library folder is also now hidden, you can un-hide it by "go" finder menu, hold own option, and select Library (magic).
If you dont have locally stored mail folders it might be easier to just let IMAP rebuild.

  • Using old Gateway monitor as second display for Late 2013 MBP?

    Hi all,
I'm currently running OSX 10.9.4 on a late 2013 MacBook Pro with 15-inch Retina Display. I recently took an old Gateway LCD monitor (with DVI and HDMI ports) off of someone's hands and was wondering if I'd be able to use it as a second display for my MBP. I have a DVI to HDMI adapter and an HDMI cable. If this is doable, instructions would be great.
    Thank you!
(Yes, this is a repost. I realized I posted the other one in the wrong section, and I was unable to move sections.)

I have, using the adapter, connected them via the MBP's HDMI slot and the other monitor's DVI port. The monitor turns on, but the Mac doesn't recognize the other display. The other display is simply blank after it's initial turn-on screen.

  • Downgrade late 2013 mbp to mountain lion

    Hi,
Im looking at buying a macbook pro late 2013 model, with OS Mavericks installed. But I would like to wipe it off and install mountain lion.
    Would this be possible?
I have a mbp at the moment with mountain lion 10.8.5 - would i be able to use that somehow?
I'd prefer to do a fresh install os mountain lion if possible.
Any help would be really appreciated,
    Thanks

Before you wipe out Mavericks on the new MBP, you want to check if the older OS will support the new hardware and firmware of the Retina MBP. One method is to use Target Disk Mode between the old MBP and the new one and see if it works correctly.
If you need to run 10.8.5, you can also consider virtualization solutions (like Vmware) to run a ML VM. You want to make sure you buy a MBP with enough memory so it can support the VM and the underlying OS, both, otherwise you will end up with beach balls of death.

  • Late 2013 Retina Macbook Pro - Backlit Keyboard Problems

    Hello!
I've recently been having an issue with my late 2013 rMBP and the backlit keyboard not turning on. When I press the F5 and F6 buttons to increase or decrease the brightness of my keyboard, the keyboard light icon appears on my screen and it shows that it is increasing/decreasing, but my keyboard doesn't actually do anything.
I have checked my keyboard preferences and I have turned off "Adjust Keyboard Brightness in low light", so that can't be the problem. I've restarted my laptop and it's still this way.
Does anyone know why this is happening, if it's common, or if there's a way to fix it?

Try resetting the SMC. If that doesn't work, take it to the Genius Bar. You're under warranty.
You want the section "for a battery you should not remove yourself".

  • Late 2013 MBP Retina - vertical lines

I have vertical thin colored lines showing on the left side of my display (13.3" MacBook Pro with Retina screen).
Getting progressively worse with additional lines and colors.  Never had this before, mac was sleeping and fully charged, opened the lid and noticed the lines. The lines get worse if I press the screen. Afaik it's not due to any abuse or damage. Screen does not show any physical damage or cracks.
Ran a Diagnostic test but no errors. Also when I take a screenshot of my current screen, the screenshot does NOT show the lines. So must not be the graphics card...? Any ideas..? Will take it in tomorrow to Apple Store, but really bummed about this...

    Hi SanCuracao,
I'm sorry to hear you are having issues with your MacBook Pro. Based on your description and the attached pics, it would certainly appear that you have some sort of hardware issue with the display panel on your MacBook Pro. If you haven't already, you would want to make sure you take it in to have it evaluated and serviced. You may find the following page helpful:

  • New late 2013 MBP Retina not using 802.11ac

Hi, I recently started to use a late 2013 15" Macbook Pro Retina with the newest Time Capsule.  However, it's not connecting with 802.11ac.  Rather it's using 802.11n.  Is there a setting that I need to change to "force" it to use 802.11ac?  Of note, I'm using 10.9; I haven't upgraded to 10.9.1 yet.
