Latency: This Shouldn't Be Happening.

I'm running Reason into Logic via Rewire; I open an external midi track and assign it to my Reason Hardware Interface, then open an aux track in the mixer with the input being reason l/r and the out being main out 1/2. I get sound out of reason, but it is latent. This should NOT be happening. The samples and the refill for Reason are on the home drive, as is the logic project, so it's not a disk problem. I have 2GB of ram. And it has nothing to do with my interface; that's simply playback at this point. ANY suggestions!?

Yep, Stu's right. In the screenshot below, it is the top two options of the last four.
In "Rewire behaviour", "Live mode" should bring less latency. A large process buffer range also comes with more latency, so set that as low as possible too. And of course the coreaudio buffer itself.
regards, Erik.
