Later version asked but last one owned
Hi, trying to open this document : http://www.eccnederland.nl/sites/all/themes/insiders/pdf/ecc-net-klachtenformulier.pdf, I get the error message :

After having upgraded to Adobe Reader XI 11.0.4, the latest one for my Windows 7 32bits, the message still appears... My browser is Chrome and I can of course open other PDF documents.

Chrome has its own PDF plugin, which is used by default over Adobe Reader. Instead of trying to open the file in the browser, save it to your computer and then double-click it. It should then launch in Reader.

Hi, I have one computer that just updated to Version 29. My other computer is on Version 28, but says it has "the latest version of Firefox". How do I fix? I would like to take advantage of the sync features.
Firefox 29 (beta) has the new 1.5 version of Sync, where Firefox 28 (earlier) uses the previous version of Sync. Once a Sync account has been upgraded to the new 1.5 version of Sync it won't connect with a pre-29 version of Firefox. So you are looking at a 6 week period of incompatibility, until your release version is updated to Firefox 29.
On a positive note, the new version has a greatly simplified ''(for the user)'' method of adding new devices to an existing Sync account and for re-connecting a device that was "un-linked" from the Sync server. The 3rd authentication "key" - using the Sync Key - has been eliminated. The data encryption "key" will be created (and "compared" at time of login) using the account / user name and the account password; the 3rd key won't be needed by the user. -
i got ipod in a public toilet but no one is there to ask who owns it. it has passcode so i cant access her/his info. so i decided to keep it and want to use it. i want to reset the passcode so that i can change the settings. do you think they can track it and know whos using it?

Hi there, I have a 2009 Macbook - running on OS X V.10.6.8... but I'm looking at upgrading the Operating System to V.10.10. Will your latest version of LIghtroom (the one I can currently get a free one month trial of from your site) work with Apple's latest operating system - Yosemite V.10.10? Or will LR only work with V.10.7, 10.8 or 10.9?
Thanks, SeamusHey, problem solved. One of the drives was faulty. I erased the 2nd drive (which was showing up as the degraded raid slice), deleted the RAID set and restored the 2nd drive from a back-up disk image. After that, when I booted using 'option' I was presented with two boot disks but only one that worked. And when it did boot up only the reformatted disk was showing in Diskutil so I'm guessing the second one is knackered. With it still in place the server still wouldn't boot up from a full shutdown, but the moment it was removed it booted up no probs. Wakes up from sleep as well so it seems sorted.
So now just need to decide whether I'll bother with replacing the second drive or just use an external back-up. I have just bought a 1TB drive to back up to so will probably just go with that.
Btw, is there anyway I can test the drive I removed to see if can be saved?

I have a new laptop running Windows 8.1. The 10.3.1 version downloaded, but it was incompatible with Windows 8 and 64-bit. Then I tried to download Itunes 11.1.5 and it comes up with the box asking me to save. When I click on save...NOTHING happens. AAAAAHHHHH!!! I even clicked on the download list to see if it is possessed and downloaded somewhere I didn't choose, but that's NOT happening either. Please help me! I have been messing with this and 4 other problems on this laptop for the last 32 hours. I'm getting tired and frustrated. Also, I haven't even put music on THIS Laptop because on my other one, I ended up with at least 5 copies of EACH SONG. Let's see 636 X 5 = 3,180 and they were in EVERY POSSIBLE LOCATION!!!

We own 5 Apple devices but for some reason I cannot get iTunes to recognize one of the iPads. The other 4 show up just fine and we can sync and do all the stuff we are supposed to do, but this one device is never recognized. I've tried updating the software, reinstalling iTunes, using different ports on the laptop, different cables...just about everything. I have NEVER been able to connect this one device, but all the others are fine. I'm at my wits end. Is there someone out there who can help a relative novice figure out what's going on? Thanks so much!

I can watch all of my old TV shows on iTunes, but the last one I downloaded jammed up after about one minute. I tried quitting I-tunes and re-starting my computer to no avail. iTunes won't even let me delete it so I can try downloading it again. But it will let me delete other episodes.

I have been trying to reinstall iTunes but I have been getting error messages. One says I need a fileMSVCR80.dll, one says error 7 and the last one says windows error126.
This problem started yesterday when I tried to download the newest iTune update.

If the above doesn’t do the trick entirely, then use the instructions in the following as it applies to the version of Windows you are using:
HT1925: Removing and Reinstalling iTunes for Windows XP
HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
You may be required to boot into safe mode to complete the folder deletion process. -

IMAP quickly downloads mostly of messages, but stalls at the last one
An ongoing problem. When I download IMAP emails using latest version of Apple Mail, it quickly zips through most of them, but stalls for ages at the last one.
e.g. if there are 30 emails, it zips through emails 1-29, but just sits there for the last one. The size of the email doesn't matter. It's always the last one that stalls for ages, maybe 10-15 minutes or longer.
Nowadays I let it run at night, and by morning everything is downloaded.
I'm using 10.5.6 but the problem was evident in earlier versions too.
Using Gmail IMAP. I access this Gmail account from several Mac computers, and the above problem only occurs on one of them. I've tried rebuilding the mailbox, but that does not solve the problem.
It's not the internet speed. I have high speed ADSL2. Internet works for everything else. Remember, the first lot of emails are downloaded very fast. It's always the last one that stalls, irrespective of how small or large that last email is.p/s sometimes that last email can take what seems like hours. Hence, the need for me to run it at night to download overnight. Just for that last email.

Hi there I have updated to your lates version but every time I open up the browser and new windows I get this error message 'TypeError: Components.classes[cid] is undefined' although it does work but the message is very annoyingThis issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

I keep asking questions about problems and see them posted in the "support" forum and usually with a note about how many other users have this problem. There are never any answers or replies even though some of the number for others with the problem are huge.
As I say, I have only one answer to many questions, my last one, which is why have I switched to Google Chrome. I know the answer to that one.I so agree with what you say and am in exactly the same position - very sad. Was strong supporter of FF but will have to move elsewhere for my browser after many years with FF

I have the latest version of firefox. I know this because your website says so. But for some reason, my current firefox keeps trying to install a new version by "trying" to install a patch. But it fails every time.
I cant say exactly when this started. A few weeks ago, firefox was behaving erratically (crashing for no reason at every launch due to some video plugin fail) but i uninstalled and reinstalled (a few times) and it was fine after the last one.If files already have been downloaded then remove the files in the updates and updates\0 folder.
You can also delete the active-update.xml file.

10.7 Lion is still available from Apple. You will have to call Apple Customer Care 1-800-692-7753 or 1-800-676-2775. to purchase it. Then within 3 days you will get an email with a code which you can use to download Lion from the App Store. The price is $19.99.

Lion will require at least 2gb of RAM but really needs 4gb to run smoothly. You can put two 2gb RAM sticks in the model 2,1 but it can only use 3,3gb. This is a hardware limitation and cannot be changed.

Also Lion doesn't run any Power PC programs. To see if you have any Power PC programs go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up select Applications under Software. Then look under Kind to see if any of your applications are listed as Power PC. Universal and Intel will run under Lion.
Before Mac switched to Intel processors in 2006 they used Power PC processors from 1994 to 2005. Power PC 601 through 604, G3, G4 and G5. Applications written for the Power PC processors need the application called Rosetta to run on Intel processors. This was part of the Operating System in 10.4 and 10.5 but was an optional install in 10.6. With 10.7 Lion Apple dropped all support for Power PC applications. -
Ok so I wanted to buy this movie, I accidentally bought the SD and HD version. One version loaded but now the other one won't. I tried turning my phone off and restarting it, that didn't help. I put my password in and that didn't help. All it says is that it is waiting to download. Each time I go into the iTunes Store it asks for my password. It is very frustrating because I can't even delete the video from downloading. Can anyone help?
