Latest Adobe Reader DC cannot render editable forms

Hello,
I just wanted to have a discussion on the recent adobe reader DC. Has anyone else the below similar issues?
I created Adobe interactive formss from WD and triggered it using IE as well as Chrome. I had Adobe reader DC installed. As per Adobe this is a latest product and covers all the features of the previous products.
But I never got an editable form in Chrome. I somehow got an editable in IE. But when I used my SUBMIT button, the control never went back to SAP WD.
I struggled a lot and finally uninstalled Adobe DC and installed adobe reader 9.1.
I was able to successfully generate the form in IE in editable mode and the same SUBMIT button triggered data back to SAP WD.
But chrome could still not render the output.
Has anyone faced the same issue? Whats wrong with the latest version of adobe reader DC ? Adobe claims it to be the smartest release with all features integrated.

Thanks for the heads-up. You saved me quite a few days of my efforts.
Its extremely hard to get older versions of reader 9.1 which works fine to my knowledge. my 9.1 got auto updated to 11 and now the app is not quite reliable. Sometimes it opens in IE and sometimes it says 'plz close othr sessions to open here' - strange.
Another crucial road block is that my app has to be integrated to iphone too, but strangely there is only reader dc available in itunes. So EDITABLE form is not working either in my iphone - safari or chrome
SAP or adobe must do something on this since its stopping a lot of our PoCs.

Correct. Reader can't edit PDF files. It can't even create PDf files, so you must have used the software that came with your scanner to do that.
You should scan your documents to another format, like PNG or TIFF, edit them in a photo editor, like Photoshop, and then convert them to PDF using an application like Acrobat.

I have a mac/downloaded latest adobe reader & cannot find to accept end license agreement. It says downloaded successful. I go to use it and it won't work. Said to close. I've opened adobe reader again and brings me back to install which I hit again and it says already installed.

I am having this same issue, which is frustrating. How does Adobe not have weekend tech support? I keep getting told to just "open the program" well, i have tried to open it, and it doesnt show as downloaded, so i will go to download it, and it says "you already have this installed"... well okay, then i go to find it, and it doesnt exist anywhere on my computer and tells me to download it again, and annoying triangle i keep going in.

Back up all data.
Quit Safari. In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Copy the line of text below into the box that opens, and press return:
/Library/Internet Plug-ins
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then launch Safari and test.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

Unable to download the latest Adobe Reader upgrade?

Every time I attempt to download the latest version of Adobe Reader I never receive a RUN command. My modem appears busy, but nothing happens?

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried to download but got an error message that this FTP file cannot be downloaded via Internet Explorer.

Unable to sign a document using latest adobe reader.

Hi guys,
I've never had to sign a document using reader before so I'm really lost. I've downloaded the latest adobe reader version and created an adobe account. The form is enabled for reader and signatures as far as I can tell.
I'm logged in while the file is open but under the right side tab "sign" all the options are grayed out, I also cant just click on the signature box like it mentions in the help vids.
I've added a screen shot to show you what I mean.

Try updating the software, first? PKCS12 is the latest one.
Also-- you have to make sure you have a digital ID stored in the computer (or through a server), or you can create one.

I have downloaded the assistant twice. i also downloaded the latest adobe reader, and it says it does not support this file

Adobe Reader is meant for reading pdf documents.
What is the file type that you are trying to open.
After downloading PSE 12 you need to install it to be abvle to use it.
Does it show in the list of installed programs?
If Yes then what error do you get when you try to launch the software.
Also let me know which OS are you using.

The latest versions of Reader have many improvements, including advanced security features. And, why can't you change that old version? Have you tried this?
Use this tool to remove all traces of all versions of Reader:

Then, download the offline Reader installer from
http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/
After downloading, restart your computer and run the installer before doing anything else.

Sorry, I cannot post a URL to the file because it is for intenal use only.
I noticed that the pdf file can be opened outside of IE browser if I disable the Adobe Reader add-on (active-X) in IE browser. If I enable the Reader add-on, the Reader cannot complete the file download. The progress bar goes in a half way, and stays there.
Just FYI, the pdf file was created by Distiller 7. Do you think it is the issue of Reader add-on? Thanks.

How to determine full version of latest adobe reader

How can I determine full version of latest Adobe Reader without installing Adobe Reader?
I mean I need to know 4th digit of version, it is the most important for me.
Adobe Shockwave and Flashdownload pages provide such informations via JSON from
HTTP request.
Reader download website shows me only 3 digits 10.1.3 and I need to read 10.1.3.23
to automate my security checker.

The latest digit is the build number. This may be different for different modules; you may find DLLs that have a higher build number than AcroRd32.exe
If there is a new security release, it will be identified by the first three digits.

Installed Adobe Reader X Cannot print. All Fixes futile!

Have OS Windows XP Installed Adobe Reader X and cannot print. Documents open properly and can be manipulated according to their limitations except I cannot print. Printer is HP Officejet 4500 Wireless. Have converted back to hard connection for this process. Connection not an issue. Everything else except the pdfs will print normally. Printing a pdf elicits no response from the printer. Does not show in queue. Hard attached another older HP printer. It does respond by pulling blank paper thru machine. Have full warranty on HP printer and have been thru detailed process with them. Does not appear to be a printer issue. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Tried all the same fixes. Still does not work. Connected to old printer.
Printer responded, but did not print.

I downloaded the latest Adobe reader for a software program I will need on my Mac. Using Safari browser. Demo of software worked fine. But now I can't see/print my online bank and credit card statements. Why?

It wasn’t a demo version for Reader. It was a demo for fiachraforms—software that I will need for work. I downloaded the Adobe reader from the Adobe site in the mac portion. Meanwhile, my bank had advised be to download chrome. But Chrome wouldn’t download. I tried updating my firefox browser but now that’s going in a vicious circle—it won’t update but I get the “closed unexpectedly” message when I try to reply to this.
