Latest display driver not working on Satellite A660-11M

Hi all,
I'm trying to install the latest display driver downloaded from toshiba drivers section.
When i have downloaded them i started the installation but it doesn't run. I have tryed to instal "as administrator" i have tryed to install without the user account control but nothing to do.
I have tryed to install lauching every single file like "tinstallwb" "tinstall" and "setup.exe". The last one says that it can't recognize the hardware.
I have alway installed toshiba driver only. I have windows 764 bit home premium.
P.S.
I have already installed the new version of the bios(1.8)
Could anyone help me?

I Installed yesterday latest drivers from Nvidia official page, and they work perfectly on the A660-11M, brightness and all controls, and now the Mercury Hardware engine in Adobe Premiere CS5 is working perfect!!! .. .version 260.99 released yesterday:

BT is not working on Satellite A660-13T

Hello,
I have a Toshiba Satellite A660-13T and since few days Bluetooth is not working.
In device manager it tells me everything is running, but BT will not open.
Can someone help me with this?

First of all please post in English because this is only English language community.
Back to you issue.
From my point of few you have to check some essential points:
is BT enabled using function key
is Toshiba BT stack process (TosBtSrv.exe ) running. You can find in in task manager under “Processes tab”
If it doesn’t run, reinstall the Toshiba BT stack which you should find on the Toshiba driver page.

Upgrade to windows 10, display driver not work

the issue is video card has no working driver detect. I can't get error code ,because teh screen is not display any thing.I am sure the computer is boot up, as it can be access by teamviewer and show a 640x480 screen. currently , I am using miscrosoft default display driver . instead of intel and AMD driver. to show 1024x168 screen , at least I can see someting now... and the fan is screaming .. my product type is HP Pavilion dv4-3126tx QG429PA#AB2 display card is Intel HD Graphics 3000 and AMD radeon 6600m and 6800m (not sure excatly, may be 6750M) I am running windows 10 64bit much thanks

GTX 460 display driver not working in AE CS6

Hi everyone im currently having problems with After Effects, My GTX 460 is currently undetected by AE CS6 when i check out the gpu information it says (GPU not available - incompatible device or display driver)
I don't see how i am getting this problem as i have the latest drivers and the the gtx 460 has 336 cuda cores therefore it should be compatible with After Effects Should it not ???
Any help will be much appreciated unless it has to do with drivers, believe me it's not the drivers -.-

Same old, same old: What's not listed on the product pages is not officially supported for the respective features and the GTX 460 is not listed as supporting Raytrace 3D. It should support all conventional OpenGL stuff and fast previews without issues, though, so update your graphics driver or try a different version and configure it properly so AE can detect it.

DVD drive not working on Satellite Pro U400-142

My DVD drive is not working. I insert a disk, can hear the drive working for some time but then nothing happens. I checked 'Device Manager' - under DVD/CD-ROM drives it shows: MAT****A DVD-RAM UJ862AS, but there is a black exclamation mark on a yellow circle next to it. I opened the 'Properties' dialogue box and under device status it says:
'Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)
I'd like to try to try to solve the problem by re-installing the driver. I have checked the Toshiba website for the driver, but cannot find it.
I'd be most grateful if someone could give me any ideas on how to sove this problem.

What you can do is follow:
Remove optical disc drive from device manager and restart your notebook.

Display is not working on Satellite P500-1DZ

Hi
P500-1dz display went black. No sign of anything on the screen so tried a new screen. Still no display.
Put in new Inverter. Still no display. Replaced the ribbon cable on the back of the screen.
Still nothing.
Hooked it up via the VGA port to an external screen. Works Brilliantly so am assuming its not the graphics chip.
Toggled Fn+F5. The external screen turned off but nothing on the laptop screen. Toggled back to external screen to a perfect display on that one.
Have installed the latest driver for the nVidia chip.
Still no display on laptop screen.
Help please! Going gaga trying to find the problem.

I thought about just buying a complete new screen with new ccfl light installed..but here is what I did..maybe i did it wrong?
I left the OEM screen/light alone, and replaced the inverter itself, which on my P500 series toshiba the inverter isn't grounded or anything, just dbl sided tape basically to the lid...no change...
then i got a new bulb and connected it to the new inverter with the light basically just sitting on the keyboard and the light didnt light up...
Then i replaced the LCD cable with a known good one, from what I was told at least...did samething as above and light still didnt light up.
I took out the OEM ccfl light and it appeared fine, no blown filiments or visible damage..
By everything works fine, just won't turn the light for the screen on?
Just hate to spend the money on a new screen if the light wont turn on again, figured the light wouldn't need to be installed to turn on

DVD/CD Drive not working on Satellite L55

I have a Satellite L55 laptop with DVD/CD drive that I've used successfully to burn CDs in the past. Yesterday, I tried to view a DVD given to me by a friend and all it did was click and nothing happened. No error message other than telling me there was no DVD in the drive.
This morning, I put in a CD and same thing happened. You can hear the drive whirr a bit but then there are little repeated clicking noises and nothing. iTunes told me to put in a blank CD (the CD shows as blank in other drives), and if I look at Windows Explorer, it tells me to put in a DVD.
I've taken a quick look at the driver and it tells me that everything is working properly. If I tell Windows (8.1) to update the driver, it tells me it's the latest driver.
As far as I know, nothing has happened physically to the drive, beyond being opened accidentally on occasion when moving the laptop since the open button just happens to be in the right position for that to happen when you lift up the laptop.
Any ideas as to what I can try to do to see if the drive is truly dead before attempting to replace it?

Sat Pro A60: ati2dvag display driver not working properly

help.... i know very little about computer and need to know what, how and where i can get a solution to this problem. It occurs more and more frequently now, it messes up the display and i have to restart only for it to happen again. i tried to down load bios 1.90 and will hope it works like some similar ports have said but what else can i do? any help from anyone would be so great

The problem is that I have download all drivers and updates but the toshiba power saver does not work its installed with no error and TPSLaunch (green icon) does not open when I click on it and no icon I found in the control panel for the program afterIi install all the Value Added Package!

Toshiba Power Saver is only for XP installations, you can't install the XP Drivers (and most Vista Drivers) in Windows 7.
Make sure all your drivers are for the A660, and make sure they are for Windows 7.

Im a little bit confused about your posting First you write about Power Saver and then about green icon Which one you mean exactly and whats the problem?
If you mean Eco mode you have to install Eco Utility from official Toshiba website.

Satellite A660-11M: Does not start with 8GB of RAM, but works with 6GB

Satellite A660-11M:
I upgraded my RAM from 4GB (2x2GB) to 8GB (2x4GB). When I start the computer I can see in the BIOS it reads the 8GB of RAM. However, when it boots up, it does not go past the blank DOS screen (just before starting Windows).
If I remove one of the 4GB & replace with a 2GB (so I have 6GB in total) it starts ok.
Does anyone know how can I get it to work with 8GB of RAM?

To be honest I never heard about SanMax RAM modules...
In my opinion the problems is related to your RAM modules Not compatible to your notebook or defective.
Can you test it with high quality modules from Kingston or pretested modules from an authorized service provider?

Every display (TV, LCD, TFT, notebooks display, external display, etc.) might affect your eyes if you would not follow the rules recommended by manufacturers and eye specialist ;)
You should take a break between the computer work sessions and gaming.
You should keep distance to the monitor and be sure that your environment is bright enough
Read the user manual and ask your eye specialist how to avoid red eyes ;)

Installed Premiere Pro CS4 but video display does not work?

I just got my copy of CS$. After installing Premiere I found two things that seem very wrong:
1) video display does not work, not even the little playback viewer next to improted film clips located on the project / sequence window. Audio works fine.
2) the UI is way too slow for my big beefy system.
My pc is a dual boot Vista-32 and XP system with 4GB of memory installed and nvidia geforce 280 graphics board with plenty of GPU power. The CS4 is installed on the Vista-32 partition. My windows XP partition on the same PC with Premiere CS2 works great and real fast.
Any ideas how to solve this CS4 install issue?

The problem is now very clear to me. The problem only shows up with video footage imported into PP CS4 encoded with "MS Video 1" codec. So this seems to be a bug. The codec is very clearly called out and supported within various menues but video with this codec just will not play in any monitor or preview window. In addition the entire product looks horrible with respect to performance while PP CS4 trys its best to play the video. Audio will start playing after about 30 seconds. And once in awhile part of video shows up at the wrong magnification before blanking out again.
My suggestion to the Adobe team: fix the bug and add some sample footage to the next release so new installations can test their systems with known footage.

My HP Pavilion dv7's display driver quits working several times per day. Who would I contact to get this fixed. Bought my computer in October last year. Warranty still in effect.

Sometimes these issues are resolved with a driver update. Have you installed the latest graphics driver for your notebook?
What graphics adapter do you have, and what version of Windows 7 are you running -- 32 or 64 bit?

Some keyboard keys of Satellite A660-11M don't work

hi,
the keyboard of my Satellite A660-11M is not working properly. Some keys won't type, others would type the wrong letter/number.
Does replacing the keyboard usually fix the problem? Are keyboards available for this model?
By the way, juice was accidentally spilled on it weeks ago, so i assume it's the cause of the problem.
