Hello, I am new and as far as I searched this forum, I still havent found any info about latest firmware and its updates
Anyone can give me some link or something where I can see what is new in the latest update?
I am sorry if I was blind, but at least I tried to find something

Well, the latest N80 Firm. is 4.0707.0.7 but it's craap. It contains a looooot of bugs u can find the bugs discussed here.

You may want to consider using another browser if 2.0.0.20 does not work for your email. You could try using Safari for your email. I keep getting the "Bonjour has encountered a problem and needs to shut down." and I can't print anything. I've downloaded latest version and updates and nothing helps. I need my printer to work. Help!

I am getting this error message every time I turn on the computer. I have the Airport Extreme wireless router. This has been occuring for the last 2-3 months. I have been to the support page and downloaded current versions and updates. I don't think I have a firewall ( I have AVG virus protection). Also, the scanner part of my printer/scanner/copier has not worked since we installed the router. Help!

By way of experiment, try installing the latest version of iTunes for Windows:

That should update your mDNSResponder to version 2.0.5.0 ... with the newer Bonjour componentry in place, do you still get the error when switching on the PC?
If so, is the modver being shown now 2.0.5.0? Or is it still 2.0.4.0?

If you are sure that it is charged and you still can't get it to power on. You may need to reload the OS. If you need help doing this let me know.

I can't add music to iTunes with latest software and updates.

I just updated to Mavericks and I have version 11.1.3 (8) of iTunes. I still had music in a folder that was not in the itunes media folder and now I can't add this music to iTunes or even play the music. Is there anything I can do to fix this so I can add the music to iTunes?

Just try to downgrade to older ITunes version, there's serioud problem with lastest ITunes upgrade.
Time machine can fix this problem is ur latest backup was a few months ago and contains an older ITunes version.
Version 11.3 doesnt support iPod classic & 3th gen Ipod & Iphone anymore.

IBooks keeps crashing on iPad (latest software and updates installed)

Is anybody having a problem with iBooks crashing at any point on their iPad. It doesnt crash on the iPhone. All software and apps are latest and greatest per software updates. Any suggestions? It even still crashes after uninstalling it and re-downloading it.

Begin with a system Reset. Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.
A Reset will not delete apps, data, movies, pictures, music, etc.
If that doesn't help, download the 4.2 User Guide and look for help there. Pay special attention to page 170.

Gettin latest firmware with updater

I've updated fware with updater and although it said failed after install all seems to be ok. I noticed that my new firmware is the v5.0609.2.0.1/01-03-06 and not the v5.0616.2.0.3 (24-04-2006) version. Should I run the updater again? My previous version before I ran updater was the 2.etc/8/10/05 one(my best guess).

it displays a "A processar" thing when loading, and takes a lot of time to start.
also, i was just informed that v5.0616.2.0.6 is not really a operator dependant update... it's a general update. but if you have a vodafone branded phone, you will not get the update because vodafone did not brand this firmware version yet.
if you do not have a branded vodafone n70, but just a locked one, you still won't get the update... don't ask why!!! i'm still tryin to find out...

After latest firmware update, AppleTV2 no longer sends signal

So I updated my AppleTV2 with the latest firmware, and now it no longer sends a signal out.
Has Apple stated when they're going to fix this?

I just updated firmware and it dosen't work.

I bought my router EA6500 and just updated firmware and it became a brick.The logo light keeps blingking and I can't even go into the setup.I downloaded the latest firmware and manually updated.It seemed went ok everything and said it's going to reboot but it went into this blingking mode.Is it because I did something wrong or it's because I bought a refurbished product.

Where was the firmware downloaded? Was it from the Linksys website? Resetting the router may straighten this up. Press and hold the reset button for 10 to 15 seconds. Then, reboot and reconfigure it. I'm not sure which version do you have but you may check it on the system label that is found underneath the device. Select the correct hardware version and download the firmware from this link. Once accomplished, reset again the router and configure it. If the same thing will happen, it's best to contact Linksys and have it replaced.

after upgrade to latest firmware canon network printer won't print. It's a canon MP540 on a wireless network. It will print a test page but won't print from any application, just sits there with the message 'copying print data'!
Running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.2 (11C74), with firmware SMC Version (system): 1.73f63.
Any help gratefully received.

First off if you can print a test page there is absolutely no reason you wouldn't be able to print from a application...none. But stranger things have happened now that we have Lion. Within the application are you selecting the wireless printer........just had to check.
I have the MP620 which is simlar to your MP540 and have no problems printing from my MBA (June 2011). I too have the latest firmware and software......without problems printing.
A few things I'd try would be to remove the wireless printer from your computer (in Preferences, printers), restart, and repair permissions. Then add the wireless printer back, and see if it works. If not.....power OFF the printer and turn back on.
If the above fails reinstall the printer driver (yours) I think you will have to plug in the USB cable.

can an updated firmware be released for my phone?
Its a Music Xpress 5800
Its product code is 0582945
According to the update page the latest firmware is 21.0.025
However according to Nokia the latest firmware is 40.0.005
Today I found out that Ovi Maps are now available for free on Nokia smart phones. However the phone must be at 31.0.008 or greater.
Can someone explain to me why my phone can't get the latest firmware and is stuck with obsolete firmware?
Are there any plans to release new firmware for this phone?

If you got your phone from an operator then you should be asking THEM this question because the release of updates is THEIR responsibility, not Nokia's.

Latest Firmware = More harddrive clicking?

Hi,
I have the latest Ipod Classic. 120 gb. I just downloaded the latest firmware and installed it. It seems that, with this update, my hard drive is clicking extremely often, whereas it didnt make the clicking noises before the update.
Is anybody else having this problem? Understandably, it is a a regular hard drive, but it seems to be excessive, though not affecting the usability yet.
My worry is that the Hdrive is spinning way too much, and may degrade its life.
Any thoughts?

Ok, just to clarify a bit - I haven't updated firmware since I first set up the iPod (couple of weeks ago), so I can't at this moment comment on whether firmware has anything to do with my clicking hard drive.
Also, I know this used to happen on occasion with my old 20GB ipod. To fix, I'd unplug and restart everything, and it would quiet down - only katink'ing every few minutes. The frequency of clicking would increase again if I did a bunch of song manipulation, or if I started & stopped misc songs a lot.
I suspect this may have more to do with OS X than with iPod, as I've experienced unnecessary and excessive hard disk activity while idle with all versions of OS X since 10.4

IPHONE PROBLEM WITH LATEST FIRMWARE

Oh, that's great news. Well, I'm not messing with my USB Periphs...they are/were all working fine, so I'm going to wait for Apple to come up with a fix for this problem.
I'm now on my 3rd uninstall/reinstall of the Mobile Support and iTunes.
After this, that's it. I'll have to wait until someone finds an easier fix. For all of you who got 2.1, enjoy. My phone crashes about 3 times a day and I'd really like it, too.
