In the latest verision of ITunes (downloaded yesterday) I can no longer see how large (in GB's) my music library or playlists are. This is a very valuable function and it seems to have disappeared. Anyone know where it is?
Go to the View menu and turn on the Status Bar. If you don't see the menus, go to the small icon with the arrow at the extreme upper left and select "Show Menu Bar":

When I try to do a CC update I get an U44M1I210 error message, "Update failed - Unable to extract the downloaded files. Press retry to download again. (U44M1I210)" - help please - re-downloading makes no difference, applies to latest Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CC, others seemed to update without problems. I can see the disk image files in AAMUpdater folder but they will not open and come up with "couldn't be opened - resource busy" message.
Yes Jeff, I did all those several times to no avail.
I've included a small error snippet from two installs here. In Creative Cloud when updating the Apps, all 3 get to 50%, then the failure occurs. Retrying starts at 50% and fails the same way each time.
This first one is a segment from the Indesign updater - I have always had the all hard drive folders with read and write privileges allowed and I checked again, this is still the case so I do not know why this particular error message is arising. The second snippet if from the Illustrator update.

How to download latest InDesign CS3 Server Installer?

Anyone can help me point to the right direction, how to download the latest InDesign CS3 Server Installer (without the error).?

Jimmy HarjadiI would guess you'll need to contact customer service. CS3 products are no longer posted as demo downloads. InDesign server is a licensed product, and presumably if you bought the license you were given media or a link at that time. If you've lost that, Customer service would be th only ones who can help.

Hello Folks:
I am still in the process of setting up my new Windows box and I need to get the CS2 SDK. The website lists a lot of SDK "update" downloads but I see nothing that says "InDesign CS2 SDK." Sending an email to Mark Niemann-Ross, I received an auto reply that says he will not be back in the office until January 8, 2007. Does anyone know where I can get a fresh copy of the CS2 Win SDK?

Glad to hear you found the SDK. Just in case anyone else is seeing the same thing, the SDK list found on the ID CS2 Products SDK page(http://partners.adobe.com/public/developer/indesign/sdk/index.html) lists the latest update then a full installer. The CS2 4.0.3 SDK update (Still compatible with 4.0.4) is listed first. Go one down to get the full installer for CS2 4.0.2 then apply the update to that. If for some reason you need the CS2 4.0 version, that is listed at the top of the Archived SDKs as a full installer.

The lateste "upgrade" for Indesign will not download using the Creative Cloud app.
It starts and then I get a download failed message
I tried inserting the image but it will not stick error U44m11210 unable to extract downloaded files, press retry to download again
When I press retry the same error just keeps happening again and again.
When you click the support button you end up in Adobe;s support hell. You go in circles and dead ends and at best you get one of those online morons in India or somewhere who are so useless you want to go postal!!!! ;-)
It is like being caught in those voice mail traps where you keep pressing buttons which only give you more buttons for ever

Getting an strange error in "PluginPrefix.pch" while compiling a plugin code with InDesign CS4 SDK.

Currently trying to compile/build the existing Plugin code (C++) with InDesign CS4 SDK on my Mac OS X 10.5 machine but getting following strange errors.

/Volumes/MAC Extended/Inbetween Extended/Visual Studio/Adobe InDesign CS4 SDK/source/precomp/gcc/PluginPrefix.pch:40:28: error: AnsiBasedTypes.h: No such file or directory
/Volumes/MAC Extended/Inbetween Extended/Visual Studio/Adobe InDesign CS4 SDK/source/precomp/gcc/PluginPrefix.pch:41:26: error: ShukHeaders.cp: No such file or directory
Though above mentioned files are present at the following directory
/Volumes/../../../Adobe InDesign CS4 SDK/source/precomp/common/
Note : However initially I did not find “MemoryStatics.h” and “AnsiBasedTypes.h” files in the installed SDK directory. I have downloaded them from the net and copied those into the above mentioned directory.
I am not much familiar with Mac OS environment and compiling/building C++ code with Xcode. Can anyone help me to resolve this issue (might be very trivial and related to Xcode project configuration) ?Thanks for the quick response,
Yes, current build settings include path shortcuts as mentioned below and it also contains “$(CS_SDK_PATH)/source/public/includes” path in HEADER_SEARCH_PATHS settings. But still I am getting the same error: MemoryStatics.h: No such file or directory

Just for clarification : my Plugin code /project files are not inside the InDesign SDK (build/mac/prj). All the plugin project is outside of the InDesign SDK directory. Thus above mentioned CS_SDK_PATH and CS_SDK_PRJ_PATH are completely different.
Is it expected that the plugin code/project files should be inside the InDesign SDK/build/mac/prj directory only ? or is it okay if we put it in the completely another directory structure and modify the SDK_PRJ_PATH accordingly (as in my case) ?

I am not able to open, compile and build sample plugin projects from Indesign CS4 SDK

I am new to Indesign plugin development.
I have downloaded Indesign CS4 SDK Products version for Windows.
I have downloaded Adobe Indesign CS4 trial version.
I have Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 . I want to build sample SDK examples given
in SDK. But when I open them from visual c++ /prj folder the project is not
getting opened.
I want to load Dollyxs and build it and using that develop some projects.
Also want to build and run the SDK examples .
So can anybody help about what software I need n which version of visul c++
is needed for this.And how to Install
them.

It isn't hard to imagine a free-for-all scenario leading to issues that would sidetrack an otherwise organized process.

Can't get the latest InDesign 9.2 no matter what
I've been running CC under Mac OS 10.9.1 for some months with no apparently problems.
Then the big releases came last week, and a Photoshop update appeared in the CC Desktop app. Updated.
Nothing ever showed up for InDesign, which is stuck at 9.0. (Should already be at 9.1)
OK, uninstalled InDesign and downloaded with the CC Desktop app. Still 9.0.
OK, followed instructions to uninstall everything and run the CC Cleaner app. All Adobe apps entirely cleaned.
Started from scratch, downloaded the CC Desktop app and installed InDesign. Still 9.0.
I'm stumped. What do I have to do to get the latest InDesign?Just to reply to myself to help any one else in this situation, I suspected it was some bogus preference/setting somewhere, and verified that by creating a new user and finding that, indeed, I could see the InDesign 9.2 update.
So I deleted absolutely every last vestige of any Adobe-provided application, preference, setting, folder, file, script, etc.--absolutely nothing Adobe on my system, and started over. (Probably a good idea every few years anyway. )
Once I did that, started over, downloaded the CC desktop app, downloaded InDesign, and, yes, it's all fine at 9.2. -

I kind of tried this, and when I clicked on the cloud, an "X" appeared and the podcast title became ghosted!
Had to wait a lengthy time for all the rest of the podcasts to load (I only connect with iTunes on my ext. hard drive about twice a week), and then go back and "refresh" these - they played all the way through and then were loaded. This is just the latest mishap with iTunes, which periodically never loads my 3 subscriptions for weeks at a time, and I have to manually load them from the various sites offering the podcasts. No one at the Apple Store knows what is wrong, and they all finally admit that it's an Apple error and not a site screwup! I will muddle along and hope the next time I plug in my Est. HD to open itunes that this will not happen!

Missing sdk download for instant client for Linux

I'm following Ubuntu community documentation here https://help.ubuntu.com/community/PHPOracle to get started developing php/oracle applications.
My problem is that the sdk download is missing. It is in the list here http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/features/instant-client/index-100365.html but the link for it is missing. I don't see anything else looking like sdk or development files for instant client.
Can anyone tell me where the download is?
