itune 11.0.0.163 shows silly date approximation on bottom bar rather than days, hours, minutes, seconds as before. How do I change this?
Apple buried the transfer purchases option, but it's still there. To transfer purchases from your iOS device in iTunes:
Select the device toward the top-middle of iTunes (underneath the status area/progress bar/Apple logo).
Go to the File menu.
Select Devices
Click on Transfer Purchases from [DeviceName]...

Probably your menu bar is hidden. To reveal it, click the triangle by the half-shaded box at upper left and click on Show Menu Bar (as piictured). This will reveal the menu bar with File, Edit, View, etc. -

Via iCloud on Wi-Fi about ten minutes at the most. Via iTunes, about the same.
Reset your iPhone.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Then tap Settings > General > About then scroll to Version. If it says: 7.1.2 then the update was complete.

No, an external drive will not always be mounted. If the drive goes to sleep, it can unmount, or it may unmount for other reasons. As Chris said, confim that the drive is mounted and active before launching iTunes.

My previous method for payment on itunes was debit card but now I dont have one. How do I change to no card without creating a new apple id? It tells me to update payment details when I try to update apps but it only has visa, mastercard, amex and maesto. I dont have any of them. I did previously use visa but I dont have the card anymore and cant get another one. Please can someone help me set it up so I dont need a payment method. Thanks

When I updated my iPhone to iOS 6.1.3, somehow the iTunes App did not make it back to my iPhone. So, I now have an iPhone without the iTunes App. All other apps are on my iPhone. How do I get back my iTunes App, so I can continue buying music and flix?
Check the General -> Restrictions settings and see if perhaps the iTunes app is turned off there. If not, the app may have been inadvertently moved to another home screen or dropped into a folder. Do a search for the app or try resetting the Home screen layout: Choose General > Reset, then tap Reset Home Screen Layout.

Im currently reporting of an analysis services cube, however I have value which is in seconds and would like to report on this in reporting services as day:HH:MM:SS.
Has anyone got any experience reporting in this format?
