Latest Lenovo Update (B6000_A442_001_020_140620_WW_WIFI ) DOES NOT FIX 4.4.2 problems

Ok so I muddled my way through installing B6000_A442_001_020_140620_WW_WIFI on my Yoga 8 and can report that it fixes none of the 4.4.2 issues reported.
-Volume rocker still upside down in one oritentation
-Performance is still crappy
-NETFLIX is still corrupt
etc...
Hopefully Lenovo fixes these issues before they decide to OTA an update to us.

Even B6000_A442_001_021_140703_WW_WIFI does not fix visible errors.
Google music and google movie works with small stuck or crunch sound every 20-40 seconds. Especialy music performance is poor.
Google maps crashes. Street view is death.
Volume rocker does not switch orientation.
Lenovo guys fix it please asap. Those problems make yoga tablet very bad piece of hw.
Thanks.

  • OS X Mavericks v10.9.4 Update still does not fix the wifi shut off in sleep mode problem

OS X Mavericks v10.9.4 Update was supposed to fix the wifi connectivity problem with my iMac. Wifi disconnects in sleep mode and does not connect when awakened.  Must reconnect manually every time. PITA.

Your observation is correct about wifi disconnection in sleep mode. That is normal, you may want to check to see if your Mac supports Power Nap/is enabled- OS X: About Power Nap
The reconnect should be automatic within a few seconds.
Does it happen with multiple wifi networks or just one?
Have you tried deleting and re-adding the wifi network?

I thought that this update would finally fix this, but this is not the case. I haven't been able to edit my photos for over a month now since the last update because of this. APPLE PLEASE FIX THIS.

Apple don't promise to read things posted here.

  • Why 7.0.3 update still does not fix my iMessage and Facetime activation issue

Can someone help me fix the issue

    Hi rudeboouuy,
This KB article may provide more information on the issue you are having with your Active Sync email. ""Your device is connected to a network but the Internet service is not available. Check your network settings." is displayed when setting up a personal Microsoft ActiveSync account on the BlackBerry 10 smartphone using port 80" http://blackberry.com/btsc/KB34244
Let me know if that helps.

  • 10.5.1 does not fix AEBS hard drive problems

I was waiting for 10.5.1 update especially because of AEBS disks fix. As you know there was a huge bug inside Leopard that AEBS disk shared by accounts were not accessible.
Now I see both my disk: public and private one. But, when I double click and open, for example my private one I see only empty directory. And there is no chance to eject disk. So I have relaunched Finder and tried one more time with accessing the public part. When I open it - the same surprise. Directory is empty and there is no chance to eject disk or disconnect from sharepoint.
Sorry, just have found out where disks are. They are mounted directly at my computer. But it is shame that there is no chance to see disks from sidebar directly.

It sounds to me you have file corruption or an improper setting in your firewall, router, or network preferences that is causing the issue. Perhaps if you gave us more details about your network connection, hardware/software/IPv6/Channel setup/MTU size/number of shared computers we could give you more details why the issue may be happening.
Also did you make sure to follow all the steps suggested in my FAQ*:
    http://www.macmaps.com/upgradefaq.html
Mind you I haven't had a chance to get to a computer to update my website for 10.5.4 links yet, but you are among the first to try it out.

  • IPhone 1.1.3 does not fix my iCal sync problems

Still having my wonderful iCal sync problems.
Got the old "iTunes could not sync calendars to the iPhone "name" because an error occured while merging data".
Gettin' kinda old after at least a month.
I've tried every suggestion in this group besides generating a new Admin account.

... wait a sec... oh wait a sec....
I just may have fixed my problem. Deleted <user>/Library/Calendar (Leopard calendar) and <user>/Library/Application Support/iCal (Tiger calendar) and then deleted all data and settings on my iPhone and I can finally sync a darn calendar without iTunes complaining.
Was even able to re-import one of my calendars and have it show up in...wait for it... BOTH places. OMG - welcome to the 21st century!
Even got rid of duplicate birthday calendars my iPhone had been building up!
Joy to the world! Woot Woot.

  • Bridge update does not fix caching problems.

    Dear Adobe,
The 5.0.1.23 update for Bridge CS6 does NOT fix the problem of constantly re-caching layered TIF files.
I originaly reported the problem here on May 16, 2012.
    http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1007560
At that time I also submitted a bug report via photoshop.com, and received an e-mail response from Adobe support confirming the problem had been replicated in their lab and promising a fix in the next update.
I've since tracked several other reports of this bug and related cache problems.
I assume that, at best, we will have to wait another 6 months or more for the next update. How can I assure this bug will be addressed?

Thank you for this bit of information. Maybe it means I can stop the deactivations/uninstall/reinstall/reactivate cycle to try yet another solution. And hopefully, this will stop the re-caching problem with other than tif files.

Lightroom says that I have the latest version, but Lightroom does not recognize RAW captures from my new Panasonic DMC-GH4. When will an update for this camera be available?

The GH4 must be very new as it’s not listed in Adobe’s supported cameras, so wait until the next version of LR.  Usually there is one every 3-4 months with a release-candidate available at Adobe Labs before that:  http://labs.adobe.com/

  • Update 10.1.0.2014 still does not fix Activesync

I was so looking forward to getting back corporate email over Activesync but alas the new update has still not fixed it. Would someone at Blackberry please fix the connection issue between Exchange 2003 and BB10, I believe it has something to do with SSL certs. My company uses Exchange 2003 without SSL certs and no one with BB10 devices can get email or sync and info. Whenever we try to connect we get the error "Your device is connected to a network, but the internet service is not available. Check your network settings".
I know all the settings are correct because they were working before an update you issued a month or so ago and the same setting work perfectly on my Playbook.
Also someone please tell me why Blackberry is using Microsoft Activesync technology?

    Hi ,
I have a new iphone 4s and since i have baught , the new software update badge does not show on the settings app icon in my phone ,
Though the new update shows in the software update menu.
Any idea how to make the icon show the badge ???

Software Update option is only available if you have IOS 5 or above.

  • Software Update- it does not find an update for iWork '09 and '08

I had a hard drive crash and after a trip to the Genius bar to fix and restore it, I have to reinstall all my software. Among that list of things is iWork '09 and '08. They are listed appropriately within the Applications folder, but no matter how many times I run Software Update- it does not find an update for either suite. I'm running 10.6.8 on a 2.8GHz Core 2 Duo MBP from 2009. Any idea why this is happening? I need my full functionality back as I need to be able to open and create/edit .doc and .docx files.
    <Re-Titled By Host>

The latest versions of the iWork '08 apps are x.0.3. The latest of iWork '09 is 9.3 although you don't need higher than 9.0.4 for Snow Leopard. If you're not running the latest versions of the iWork apps installed from a retail box or the downloaded trial & Software Update says your software is up to date, make sure the applications are where the installer initially put them. The updaters are very picky. If the location is not where the updater is programmed to look or if the folder doesn't have the name the updater looks for, it will not work. The applications cannot be renamed or moved. If you installed from the downloaded trial or the retail box, they must be in the iWork '09 folder in Applications. That iWork folder must be named iWork '09. If it doesn't have the '09 Software Update won't find them & the updaters won't work. The same applies for iWork '08.
You can also download the standalone updater for iWork '09, 9.3, from this page.

  • I made a dual boot of windows 7 and mac os x lion in my macbook pro .i installed m icrosoft support software also. now, can i install windows updates? do i turn on the automatic updating of updates? does hot fix of microsoft helps in stop freezing?

i made a dual boot of windows 7 and mac os x lion in my macbook pro .i installed m icrosoft support software also. now, can i install windows updates? do i turn on the automatic updating of updates? does hot fix of microsoft i.e, " support.microsoft.com/kb/979491" helps in stop freezing in dual boot mechanism?

Windows has a software updater built into Windows and when you install the Boot Camp drivers then it will install an Apple software updater also. I believe Windows is set to automatically download and install your updates as does the Apple software Updater. They both will update the individual files it needs to periodically.
"Microsoft updates" and "Windows updates" are basically the same thing in Windows. Are you talking about the "Windows support software" when downloading from Boot Camp Assistant? Apple installs a software updater for it's Boot Camp drivers in Windows 7 so you can do it manually or automatically.
The "Hot Fix" your referring to is only for certain motherboards built from other Windows only computer manufacturers and does NOT pertain to any Apple computers.
If you have a problem with your computer then it's best to ask a specific question so we can help better.

I bought Lr5 only because I got present - my new camera Cannon 70D and because my older Photoshop CS5.5 raw plugin does not recognize. cr2 files.
