Latest official bios for 980 gaming ?

I know, another thread, but please dont close it, im really noob at finding bios'es and looking on them.
So the official latest bios for 980 gaming is ? And if i flash it what im gonna get ?
Also i've heard people talking about "modded bios" whats a modded bios ? And if i flash it what i can really get ? Larger power limit ?
My card does fine at 1.237V and 1510mhz max boost.
Should i hassle with the bios'es ?

I would be interested to know what afterburner settings you are using to get that speed? What GPU temperature is it running at under load?

it's form the same card and You told it was latest (in Avelis topic), then how could mine be the latest version with differences hash, it can't be the same.

difference between them are in the padding fills method 00 instead FF,
but those are as addiction padding tail after the vbios image and has no matter.
in the matter of reliability they both are fine identical with original except the padding after vbios image which doesn't matter

My laptop is iBuyPower valkyrie CZ-17 with MS-1762 motherboard (I think). Tech support said that the motherboard supports up to 1866MHz and I recently purchased Corsair Vengance 18GB (2x8) 1866MHz DDR3 amazon.com/gp/product/B009PV1ELO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Well, when I install it (both of them at the same time and individually as well with the 2 ram slots on the Mobo - also checked if it was seated properly) and the laptop turned on but the screen stayed black. After a bit of searching, I found out that the BIOS can be unlocked to allow up support up to 1866MHz. So my question is: is it possible for you to create a custom BIOS for my laptop? I will donate as requested.
Also, as for whether the RAM is actually compatible with the Mobo, I have no idea. Amazon description said that the RAm should be compatible with most DDR3 ram slot. I'm desperate now since I don't want to go through the hassle of returning the RAM since I like them so much and they are among the best ram with 1866MHz. Please advise.

Yes eventually, but i doubt that this will solve your issue
the ram should works with lower freq. too
unlocked bios can give you a options to customize memory timings and freq.
but this doesn't mean that can help to solve your non boot issue

Latest and correct BIOS for G560

The Drivers download sections says that the latest/current BIOS for G560 is V2.15, from Feb. 14, 2011, 29CN38WW. How can I tell whether I have this version (fully) installed? If I check it with Everest, it says "29CN38WW(V2.15)" under BIOS version, which is OK. However, the BIOS Date says January 28, 2011, which is different from what's published on the website.
Why the discrepancy in the date?

Yes, that's the picture I was referring to. If you take it literally, it's showing that position two (the UEFI bios) is towards the side of the card with the power connectors (on the right, if you're looking at the side with the fan). However, while only one of the R9 280X cards I have is labeled on the motherboard, it shows position 2 as being towards the end of the card with the video connectors.
To state that more simply, I suppose, the picture on the page you linked implies that the polarity of the switch shown is in relative to when you're looking at the card from the fan side. I think what's actually going on here is that the picture of the card with the fan is just intended to show where the switch is; the actual close-up of the switch is actually from the side with the motherboard visible (in other words, position 2 is towards the end of the card that is visible at the back of the computer case).

I tried the legacy and the uefi bios and my system refuse to post but after 2-3 restarts it posts normally.I read in the article in the following comment that it would be the hybrid bios but it seems that the problem persist? What else can i do to fix it ?
