Hi Barb,
I believe that in your question the 5.6.3 Cient tool and Patch 5887917 are the same thing. Basically EBS R12 comes standard with BIP 5.6.3, which is a specific release of BIP. Since that release, Oracle has been developing new features and functionality into BIP ENTERPRISE (which is currently at version 10.1.3.4.1). Anyways, in theory, both the Desktop 10.1.3.4.1 and the Patch 5887917 will work for you, however you're probably best to go with the patch because it was built with the 5.6.3 core engine and you are less likely to get yourself in trouble by developing reports with new and improved features that are not supported in your version of BIP integrated with EBS....

It will be the latest Netweaver version. i.e SAP BASIS version and Kernel been used. This will tell you the ITS release.

Problem with runreport with latest version of BI

I have downloaded and installed the latest version of BI Publisher 10.1.3.4.1 ; I am using the new WSDL PublicReportService_v11 in a c# application. I was interested in the dynamic data source capabilities. I can no longer run my report. When I call runReport my the ReportResponce is empty and I get no error. When I download the report using downloadReportDataChunk I get the exception:
"oracle.apps.xdo.webservice.exception.OperationFailedException: PublicReportService::downloadReportDataChunk Failed: due to File [null] Not Found - "
I know the that the report was generated, I can go to the "xmlpserver\xdo\cache" directory and see the report, however the WebService is no longer returning the data or the temp file id. This worked fine in 10.1.3.4 ; I even tried using the old WSDL in this newer version and it still does not work.
Has anyone been using the WebService for this newer version?
Any suggestion would be great!

Shouldn't you do the following things (see also:

Add Windows Language is French to the top AND;
Change the second AND to an OR;
Add the WMI Query to the new OR (so it's at the same level as the
Windows Version = Windows 7 SP1);
Remove the last OR (as it's not being used anymore).

Publishing settings in Captivate 8, not the latest version of Flash player

It looks like the files I publish in Captivate 8 require me to get the latest version of Adobe Flash player.
It seems like I can't set the flash player version in the publishing settings.

Hi Luke,
For responsive project Swf publish is not possible so the Flash player option is not displayed, where as for Non-Responsive projects on the publish Dialog when you will click on SWF publish button you will get a flash player field. Use the field to select the target flash player for Swf playback.

I just upgraded to the latest version of IMovie and now I can not export my movie so that I can publish it.

latest version of iMovie has share but I can not get my movie to save to a file. all buttons click and it appears to have saved but I an not find the movie in the folder I saved it.

Problem with opening my files in Adobe Muse - error stating it isn't latest version but Adobe CC says it is...

Hi, I downloaded a 30-day trial of Adobe Muse. All was working well. I published the site but it seemed to merge my site with another in Business Catalyst, so I deleted the site in BC. Then when I tried to publish again form Muse, I get 'An unknown authentication error has occurred using your AdobeID'.
I searched online and was advised to uninstall Muse and reinstall. All done fine but when I try to open my muse site file, I get an error stating 'This Adobe Muse file requires a newer version of Adobe Muse. Please update to the latest version'.
Meanwhile my Creative Cloud profile states its the latest version.
Please help. I had considered just signing up and subscribing thinking this may solve problem but am a little wary to do so in case issues are not resolved even then and then I am paying fro an app I cannot use! Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

The problem is indicated by this line:
The certificate of the installed app fails to match either the signature or migration signature of the AIR file
Based on the error message above, it would appear the app's published since the latest version with a different/newer signature and did not migrate the older signature when creating the install. Adobe AIR will complain as above when that happens.
The easiest solution I believe is to uninstall the current version of the application and then install this new version. If there is no previous installation found then I would see if memecrusher can be found in the Programs folder where you can manually remove it from your machine first. I'm not familiar with the application so have no idea if uninstalling will cause you to lose data from the application. You may want to check that first.

Update WSUS 3.2.7600.251 to latest version

I thook over the function of the WSUS admin.
We have WSUS 3.2.7600.251 running on a Windows Server 2008 R2.
We only have XP , VISTA and Seven clients.
In future we will have Windows 8 clients and Windows Server 2012.
1. How can I update the WSUS to the latest version? Can this be done by Windows Update on the server or is it a manual KB?
2. I want to setup a downstream server. That gets the approvals from the main server. Do the servers all need to have the same version? Cause the new server has all updates via Windows Update so the main server needs to be updated right?
3. I have done a cleanup on our server. This reduced the Data of WSUS from 270 GB to 150. The WSUS metadata export is now 50 mb instead of over 2GB. Does the database needs to be optimized now?
4. I have 27000 updates in the WSUS for XP, VISTA, 7 with 7 languages is that normal?
4. How long will WSUS 3.X will be supported?

iWeb and iDVD should be listed in small, gray test on the outside of the box. The following may be of help for continued use of iWeb:
It is now apparent that iWeb, and iDVD, will no longer be supported by Apple. This is evidenced by the fact that new Macs are shipping with iLife 11 installed but without iWeb and iDVD. iWeb will still continue to work but without the following:

◼ Blog search

◼ RSS Feed Widget
RSS Feeds and Slideshow Subscriptions will continue to work if the site is published from iWeb to the FTP server. If the site is published to a folder on the hard drive and uploaded using a 3rd party FTP client those two features will not work.
All of these issues can be replaced with 3rd party options.
There's another problem and that's with iWeb's popup slideshows. Once the MMe servers are no longer online the popup slideshow buttons will not display their images.

However, Roddy McKay and I have figured out a way to modify existing sites with those slideshows and iWeb itself so that those images will display as expected once MobileMe servers are gone. Apple has announced that iLife is now an unsupported product and those iApps will only be available thru the App Store from now on. However, there may be some copies of the boxed iLife 11 still on the shelves that would include iWeb and iDVD. Those two apps were listed in small, gray text on the iLife 11 box that I bought. Personally, if I already didn't have a copy I would purchase one to have it for reinstallation purposes if ever needed.

downgrade the remote desktop servers to IE10. I have a feeling that this isn't possible, but if I could get a definitive answer, I would greatly appreciate it, thank you!
