Latest version of FireFox loads non-requested pages, and now will not load?

Over the last few days, Firefox has been acting a bit strangely. Like loading pages that I didn't ask for. And quite ordinary rather than dangerous sites.
And then tonight, I closed Firefox, and when I tried to load it a few minutes later, it won't load - at all?
And it's been refusing to load on and off for a while. I think in the last two or three weeks, I have re-installed it about 5 times.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Or know how to fix it?

Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs. 
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

I tried deleting cookies, reloading page and nothing has worked.

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

Popup to download firefox 4 timed out after install ran about a minute and now will not load or let me download FF 4 or remove FF3.6 (Message: checking for existing installation)

I got a popup balloon to update to Firefox 4. I clicked it and after running the install for about a minute, it quit and I got a message saying it had timed out. It gave me the website to go to to manually install it. I downloaded the manual install for FF 4, but when I tried to run it, the Firefox Setup Wizard said it was "checking existing installation" and then brought up a window saying Firefox must be closed to run the install. Firefox was not open. I tried to open it and it won't open. I then tried to delete it in my "Add/Remove Programs" (Windows XP Home Edition). I got the same messages: that it was checking the existing installation and that I had to close all firefox programs before I could delete it. I'm out of ideas.

My powerPC G5 crashed. I bought a new hard drive and tried to load 10.4 OS and it will not load. Can you help, Please?

That was probably caused by your Firewall blocking the newly installed version of Firefox.
No known security issues with Firefox 3.6.17, which was just released this past week.

Until Evernote updates their add-on to mark it compatible with Firefox 6, you can use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/ Add-on Compatibility Reporter] to try re-enabling it yourself.
You can also downgrade to a previous version of Firefox from [https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/ this archive], but please be warned that some old versions of Firefox have known security bugs that are fixed in later versions. I have a ipad 1. I seem to be having a lot of connectivity issues. It takes a long time to load and sometimes will not load a page at all. I seem to be having issues with streaming in that it will play a song and just stop.

I do not have any experience with Final Cut, but if you have existing projects that you MUST access; then you are in need of a solution on your new iMac in Mountain Lion!
Unfortunately you got caught up in the minor miracle of Rosetta. Originally licensed by Apple when it migrated from the PowerPC CPU platform that it had used from the mid-1990's until the Intel CPU platform in 2006, Rosetta allowed Mac users to continue to use their library of PPC software transparently in emulation.
However, Apple's license to continue to use this technology expired with new releases of OS X commencing with Lion (and now Mountain Lion). While educational efforts have been made over the last 6 years, the fact is that Rosetta was SO successful that many users were caught unaware UNTIL they upgraded to Lion or Mountain Lion.
Workarounds:
1. Purchase a used Mac that will run Snow Leopard (with the optional Rosetta installed) and continue to run FCE on that Mac (you can actually use Screen Sharing with a "headless" used Snow Leopard Mac Mini and use the 27" screen from your iMac to view and work FCE in the Mac Mini environment);
2. Upgrade to an Intel compatible version of FCE and hope it converts your existing projects to its newer format correctly. There is much debate that the newer version of Final Cut are eliminating many needed features; for example Final Cut Pro X vs. Final Cut Pro 6 -- many users are staying with version 6;
3. Install Snow Leopard (with Rosetta) into Parallels and then install FCE in the Snow Leopard environment:

The website loads but some of the graphics will not load

Hello,
When I try to access the blizzard.com website for the Diablo 3 game the site loads but some of the graphics will not load and none of the videos from the site will run.
Up on the page tab it shows a page with the upper right corner folded over instead of the logo for the website that is normally shown when the page loads correctly.
I have not had this trouble in the past it just started in the last few days.
I know there was an update to the firefox in that time mabye there is a setting that is not correct but I cannot find it.
Can you please help me.

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

If you have an iBook G4, (PPC) you can't do much.
But if that is a MacBook (intel) you may be able to
upgrade the OS X, if the hardware is up to it...
Since there were about nine different build models
of MacBook (not powerpc iBook) to identify what
one you have would be the first step to knowing
what OS X and RAM upgrades it could use.
If the computer is not already at OS X 10.6.8,
it can't go online to get or use OS X 10.7.5. So,
when you more accurately describe the 'Book,
detailed information is available.
When you find the serial number, there is a web
page that can be used to identify by serial no.
