Latest version of rhythmbox-client-git doesnt work
I wanted to use the commando "rhythmbox-client --set-rating", but it didnt work. So I installed the latest version from git using the package rhythmbox-client-git from AUR. And now I just get the output "Rhythmbox is not running" when I use rhythmbox-client.
Im using Rhythmbox 2.95-1 from the extra repo and rhythmbox-client-git 20110820-2 from AUR.
What to do?

Upgrading from iPhoto 8 to iPhoto 9 requires a purchase. There are two ways to get to iPhoto 9:
1 - purchase a copy of the iLife 11 disk from a 3rd party retailer like Amazon.com or eBay.com.
2 - if your MBP meets the requirements upgrade you system for free to Mavericks. Then you can purchase the latest iPhoto version, 9.5.1, from the App Store.

After installing the latest version of IOS my iPhone 4s rapidly runs out of power, it also suddently (fully charged) shuts down and restarts without me asking for it. I tried to reinstall the latest version of IOS but it doesnt help. Any advice?
Backup and restore your software via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a NEW device. If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file. If the problem is still there, you should take it to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store for evaluation.

I have a mac book pro that i bought in late 2009. My current software is snow leopard version 10.5.8. I would like to get the new lion operating system but I cant without first getting the latest version of snow leopard. however when I go to update my software it doesnt show that any update is available.
10.5.8 is Leopard, not Snow Leopard. You need the Snow Leopard DVD;

Latest version of Adobe Flash Player not working in Firefox13
I upgraded to the latest version of Firefox (13.0) and then installed the latest version of Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.257. Now when I try view on-line video clips the area on the page where the video player would normally display is a "blank" white space.
This occurs on any site where there a video clip or amination
The upgrade of the flash player however works perfectly with Internet Explorer. Please adviseI love Firefox and I've honestly never used any browser for my Internet surfing needs. However, this bug has been a major problem for me and I've temporarily resorted to using a different browser until it's resolved. Hopefully that's soon before I get too attached to my new alternative.

Latest version of Flash Player doesn't work in Imac and Macbook Air 10.6.8
Flash Player is not working in my Imac nor in MBA, after installing and reinstalling latest version of FP many, TOO MANY times for the past week.
I haven't found any answer in the forums for Mac users.
I'm using Safari 5.1.9 and my OS is 10.6.8. Javascript is allowed under security tab.
The error I get in Youtube says that I need to install the latest FP version to play videos, then gives me the link to download FP. I also get error in other websites like Google maps, when I try to do a "street view" for example, and TV on demand.
Please Help! Should I revert to installing an older version? I wasn't having this problem until I updated to FP 11.8...

If it won't run, go to: Mac HD/Library/Internet Plugins
Trash the Flash Player.plugin file from there
Go to: Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Trash the Flash Player folder (the whole folder)
Empty the trash
Reboot
Mount the DMG and run the installer again. -
Five version of BootCamp and @ still doesnt work?
Seriously, am I the only one thinking that it's kind of embarrassing that the @ still doesnt work properly in bootcamp. Or rather, that the AltGr doesnt seem to. Yes, I know there is input remapper, and I am using it, but I can't really understand how this still haven't been fixed. Or am i missing something?

Client authentication doesnt work between 1.0.3 and 1.4

Has anyone else experienced the following problem?
I programmed an client-server-application using an SSL connection.
It works well if client and server run on the same java version (JRE 1.3
with JSSE 1.0.3 or JRE 1.4). It also works well when server is running on
JRE 1.4 and client on 1.3 with 1.0.3.
But when I run the client with JRE 1.4 and the server with JDK 1.3 and JSSE
1.0.3 the connection fails with the following exception:
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Received fatal alert: bad_certificate
Studiing the SSL debug outputs it occured to me that the client did not send
his certificate as he was supposed to be because setNeedClientAuth was set
to true.
So i set NeedClientAuth to false and everything worked OK.
Any ideas about how I can get client authentication working?
If debug output is useful I will post it too.

The described behaviour only shows up with Version 1.4.1 and 1.4.1_01. No problems with 1.4.0_03.
Seems to be a bug in 1.4.1.

For some reason when I go to update my old itunes version (10.6.3) it wont let me get the new itunes11. I need a newer version of itunes but when I go on my computer to download and get things updated it says it has no new updates. I now have a new phone, since my iphone4 broke and I cant use it because everything it outdated and now I don't know how to update anything. It's taking me all day just to get a working phone!!!

Why do the latest versions of Indesign and Photoshop not work on my computer?
I own a Toshiba Satellite L675 and when I was using photoshop cs5 extended it worked fine. However I recently purchased Photoshop cs6 extended and after trying to install it i recieved an error:213:10. After that i tried downloading Indesign CS6 to see if anymore Adobe Products wouldnt work on my laptop either. It doesnt, so does anyone know why its not working?

I cannot get my presets panel to work at all.
How do I remedy this situation?It most definitely is the browser that is causing most of the problems. I have used Firefox so long, I can't even remember. Maybe since its beginning. But today is a sad day. I gave up on it. I can't accomplish anything and end up spending hours troubleshooting. I see I am not alone. I am so sick of it "not responding." It's simply not worth it to spend so much time trying to make the thing work, so I can actually do something. Installed, removed, reinstalled numerous times, and I can't fix your software on my Win 7 Pro machine. No problems with IE or Chrome. So. as much as I hate Google Update, Chrome has won the test. Sad, sad day for me to lose Firefox, but it just does not work on the Win 7 machine. I don't have the same issues with the XP machine and have exactly all the same add-ons. Keep it up developers and you will have no Win 7 users at all.
