Latest version plays only 5-10 seconds of video, no audio

I updated to latest version of Flash Player, 11.3.300.270 and now it plays only the first 5-10 seconds of video, no audio. This happens on all websites an videos. This is on windows XP32 and IE8 browser.

I've actually experienced the same thing on a couple of Windows XP 32-bit computers of mine with all audio output devices disabled, and I have the latest version of Flash Player 11.3. Especially on youtube for example, you play a video for about 5-10 seconds with all audio output devices disabled, the video pauses automatically by itself and doesn't play further unless you move the seek bar/button.

Why? Seems to be an intermittent issue at present.
Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past purchases, delete the current copies from your iTunes library, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history, or via Contact Support.

FCE only exports 29 second of video

Newbie here! I am trying to export a video sequence that has no markers and FCE will only export 29 seconds of video. I am exporting Using Quicktime Conversion file format Window Media. Then only 29secons of video is on the file that is created. This happens on several different sequences. I have cleared all markers but that did not help. Is there a preference that I need to change? Have I changed something that I should not have?

Hello and welcome to the forum.
It sounds like you're using the trial version of the QuickTime plugin which will only convert 30 seconds of media. You'll need to buy the full version; I think it's $50.

Delay of 5 seconds between Video and Audio.

Hi,
I've a site where consumer can take a live meeting with the beauty consultant. The problem I'm facing is during the video chat. Basically there is a delay of 5 seconds between Video and Audio when I access the site from out of my network but when I access it within my network (VPN) then it's work fine.
Please help me out from this problem. I'm using FLEX & FMS 3.5.

Go through the article "http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashmediaserver/articles/dynstream_live.html" and see paragraph with heading "Obtaining client maximum bandwidth capacity". This says how to use "Live aggregate messages". You can try disabling it also which can be done as below:
Find Application.xml in this conf directory and search for queue tag. Disable the queue.

ITunes v5.0.1.4 plays Only First 10 Seconds

I have valid mp3's that play completely without issues in Quicktime and Winamp.
If I begin one of these mp3's in iTunes, it will only play the first 10 seconds and then skip to the next song. Interestingly, if I skip ahead in the same song (before 10 secs is up) it will continue to play the song.
How do I tell iTunes to play the whole song?

I have the same problem but with a .wav files (not all). It shows the song's full length but cuts off after a few seconds.
When I try to skip further it doesn't play the song (unlike the previous post)
The files do work on windows media player, RealOne player...
How do I force iTunes to play those songs instead of using a lesser player?

With latest version of Flashplayer - unable to download streaming video with realplayer

The latest version of Adobe flashplayer (11.5) was loaded today (nov 9, 2012). As a result, using either IE9 or Firefox, I was unable to download streaming videos using Realplayer, where it was set up by "Download the Video". I had no trouble with Flashplayer 11.4, although I had the same problem with Flashplayer 11.3.

Good comments by Hicks. While I an not as anti-iMovie '08 as many others appear to be, I really agree with both his assessment of the product and some of his distribution ideas. However, rather than the simple 2-tier product recommendation he presented, I would personally like to see a renamed version of the current iMovie '08 product be distributed as a free application to users and keep all of the DV based editors as a part of the current 3-tier iLife (which can be purchased by users who wish more editing/plug-in compatibility at a moderate price but are not willing to invest the money or time to use of FCE), FCE "prosumer", and FCE/Studio true profession editing packages purchased according to individual user needs.

Plays only for 7 seconds...

The album i bought on itunes is great, but one of the songs only play 7 seconds, then skips to the next song, I want the full song off course since i bought it, what to do?

And i deleted it from the itunes libary and got it bakc from my computer, still only plays for 7 seconds and I have to buy it agian from the store!!! Please help!

You need to update to 10.6.8 using Software Update.

Firefoz tells me to download the latest version of Adobe Flash to see any video. I did and it's still telling me...

When I opened Firefox today, when I clicked to watch a video, it told me that I needed to upgrade to the latest Adobe Flash which I did. That did not solve the issue. I can watch video on other browsers but not Firefox. What do I do to get Firefox to recognized that I downloaded the latest Adobe Flash?

I have the latest version of Apple TV. I buy videos off iTunes. I subscribe to iCloud. Yet so many times when I try and access the stuff that I paid for via the device that I paid through the cloud that I paid for - I can't

I only get the message that I can't access iTunes and to try again later. Every time I try later I get the sam message. What am I doing wrong? Why buy all this stuff if it doesn't work? Apple has an incredible reputation, but you stuff that doesn't work, and how do you get someone to sort it for you as per any company who sold you a series of stuff that didn't work. Who do I call? What do I do? I just want the stuff that I paid for to work. Is this unreasonable? Is there a consumer regulatory group that anyone can recommend that could approach about stuff that you buy that doesn't work?

you dont need computer. go to settings > icloud and turn off what you dont want like photostream/calendars/contacts. for itunes 11.1 you need to go to itunes.com and download it then install it.

How to I import video into imovie without it randomly shutting down and only importing 30 seconds of video?

Firefox crashes when I load any youtube video on the latest version, it not only crashes firefox but my whole computer goes blank and I have to restart, why is this?

Backstory: There are two possible events that could be causing this
1: At some point I may have followed a ''Tinyurl' link that consquently lead me to a youtube video, to which youtube worked perfectly fine before hand, and this is where i witnessed the first crash. Theories into whether this link, previously stated, may have done something to my system have been thought about, but the fact that youtube still works on the latest Microsoft Internet Explorer seems to present the idea of a virus or an error redundant. I own the latest Macfee antivirus software and Ccleaner(running the registry check) and have run them complete with disc defragment and scan disc error recovery along with an additional malware scanner. Nothing seems to have come up on anything. After doing all this, my last resort was System restore and this seemed to solve the problem, mainly because i had an earlier version of firefox. therefore i resisted updating for aslong as possible whenever it told me to update. but the otherday i thought i'd risk it again thinking it may have been a problem alot of people have been having and it would of been fixed, but sadly it hasn't. this lead me to google the problem and was advised to start firefox on 'safe mode' as there may have been a confliction between add ons or plugins with youtube or some thing like that, but sadly that hasn't worked either. The plugins i had installed with it were the ones firefox has told me to get, or recommended and the only two addons i had on firefox was Adblock plus (fanboy subscrip) and Noscript.
Details of what actually happens: go to a youtube link, video loads for about 2 seconds(both video and audio), screen freezes, and flashes maybe once with some small lines across the bottom half of the screen horizontally towards the right corner, then the screen goes blank and makes my laptop dorment, but still running, thus I restart my system.
Sadly now when I system restore there isn't a point far back enough before this problem. So its either i downgrade(which seems to be the only option) or simply stop using firefox, as internet explorer works perfectly fine. however running firefox with no scrip and adblock plus is the ideal browser customisation, which is why this is rather annoying.
so number 1 was the tinyurl theory and i must admit i was abit foolish to follow such a random link, but whats happened has happened.
2: basically there is a major disfunction with the latest firefox that has to with the addons i have included onto firefox and this seems to be causing a terrible effect on my system.
in a nutshell: firefox worked perfectly before upgrading to the new firefox and before i followed this link, the rest of my system is completely normal and virus and error free or so it says, Other browsers seem to work also. safe mode does not cure the problem.
Running on a customised Dell laptop, which is pretty midrange-toprange and hasn't been active long, so it has the general HD video card thats included in all Studio 15 Dell laptops.

I have had a similar problem with my system. I just recently (within a week of this post) built a brand new desktop. I installed Windows 7 64-bit Home and had a clean install, no problems. Using IE downloaded an anti-virus program, and then, because it was the latest version, downloaded and installed Firefox 4.0. As I began to search the internet for other programs to install after about maybe 10-15 minutes my computer crashes. Blank screen (yet monitor was still receiving a signal from computer) and completely frozen (couldn't even change the caps and num lock on keyboard). I thought I perhaps forgot to reboot after an update so I did a manual reboot and it started up fine.
When ever I got on the internet (still using firefox) it would crash after anywhere between 5-15 minutes. Since I've had good experience with FF in the past I thought it must be either the drivers or a hardware problem. So in-between crashes I updated all the drivers. Still had the same problem. Took the computer to a friend who knows more about computers than I do, made sure all the drivers were updated, same problem. We thought that it might be a hardware problem (bad video card, chipset, overheating issues, etc.), but after my friend played around with my computer for a day he found that when he didn't start FF at all it worked fine, even after watching a movie, or going through a playlist on Youtube.
At the time of this posting I'm going to try to uninstall FF 4.0 and download and install FF 3.6.16 which is currently on my laptop and works like a dream. Hopefully that will do the trick, because I love using FF and would hate to have to switch to another browser. Hopefully Mozilla will work out the kinks with FF 4 so I can continue to use it.
I apologize for the lengthy post. Any feedback would be appreciated, but is not necessary. I will try and post back after I try FF 3.16.6.
