Launch CC Website from CCC App

When I use this feature to open the CC website it works, however, I almost always see the word "Upgrade" beside Files and Apps. If I log in from the website I do not see this.
I assume this is a minor bug, nothing major as I can still see everything as I normally do. I do find it to be confusing and at first I wondered if something was wrong with my CC Subscription and assume others will have the similar thoughts.
I am running Firefox v18 on Windows 8

I was in a presentation, and could not launch a website from the presenter display, clicking it only advanced the slide. Unfortunately, I didn't test that out before presenting in front of a few hundred people this morning. Ooops.

In the Terminal, at the prompt, enter:
open http:// ...followed by the domain hierarchy. For exmple:

How to launch processLaunch.jsp from external app.

Hello smart people,
Can an application external to Identity Manager post a request to /idm/processLaunch.jsp/id=workflowName&attributesHere ?
We are able to launch a process from within IDM. For example we have added links to the end user menu that when clicked kickoff workflows. However is it feasable to have an application external to Identity Manager trigger a workflow.
We will need create a connection/session to Identity Manager by
- create a loginInfo object
- create a session
- login to the session
Then we should be able to post a request to /idm/processLaunch.jsp/id=workflowName&attributesHere to trigger the custom workFlow.
The post http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?forumID=764&threadID=5164691 makes me think this can be done.
I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer so I thought I'd post the question to get input from you smart people.
Our Installation is IDM 7.1 / Oracle running on a Unix OS.
Any thoughts?

If it is an external client, you need to provide the "login" and "password" details explicitly in the code (something like this), before getting any other Interface control to invoke the OIM APIs -

You can go to a particular app in the app sotre by using navigateToURL function with the URL of the app as parameter. Please check this post: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4309691 But not sure how to open only the app store.

Issue launching apex pages from oracle apps

Hi all.
We have installed oracle apex 4.2 in database have Oracle apps and configured the oracle http server in different machine.
Then we have followed the integration process suggested from oracle below.

Hi,
I think the easiest way to do this is to create a form function that launches the workbook. Then call the form function from the button on the screen. This will work in a similar way to calling the workbook from a menu item. This will not work if you want to pass parameters contained in the form to the Discoverer workbook.

Launch Fact sheet from external app

Hi All,
Please forgive my rookieness as I don't have much experience with SAP.
I want to open a contact fact sheet in CRM 5.0 from a windows application. I have done similar things in salesforce.com and Microsoft CRM but am unsure how to do this with SAP web client.
Basically, my windows application will have a contact's phone number and then launch the SAP web client and open that contact's SAP fact sheet.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Does SAP offer a trial version of CRM that I can install locally to test?

Open a website from an app (or applet)

I have some JLabels in a Frame. I would like to be able to "click" on one of the JLabels (which contains a http-address) and thereby open a browser and the website.
Is that, or something similar, possible?

You can do something like :
- Listen for a mouseClicked event on your JLabel
- Do a getText() on your JLabel to get the url
- Do: Runtime.getRuntime().exec("C:\\Program Files\\Internet Explorer\\IEXPLORE.exe " + url);

Install the v10.6.6 combo update available here. It's ok to do this even though you are already running v10.6.6. The combo includes fixes that were not included in the original update.

Restart your Mac and try the MAS again.
You can download apps directly from the MAS once you have it running.
Considering the TM backup took so long, make sure there's enough space on your Mac startup disk.

Error code:201 - can't connect to DVR from ipad app, nor fiostvcentral website

Any ideas how to fix a Error Code 201.
When I try to connect to my DVR form the iPAd app, I get that message. The TV seems to be workign fine, and the remote control function in the app works... but it's not gettgin any DVR info beyond the name of the boxes.

I've been having the same problem and was just able to solve it on my own using Verizon's in-Home agent. Here's how I did it.
The Problem
When attempting to connect to the Cable Box using the Verizon iPhone or iPad apps, you get the message "Network connction to FIOS services timed out (201)" or something similar. Everything works except for this: Your TV, your Internet, you Wifi network.
The Solution
From your desktop browser, go to http://www.verizon.com/inhomeagent, then download and install the in-Home agent application.
Launch in in-Home Agent App, click on "Quick Fixes", and then click on "Troubleshooting TV Issues"
Click through until you're prompted to select the Set Top Box (STB) you're trying to connect to. Then click "Next."
The agent will "send commands" to your STB. When it's done, turn on your STB (if it's not already on) and your TV. In my case, it said it was downloading and to wait a minute. Then my picture came back. This step may not be necessary to fix the problem, but it's what I did before attempting to use the iPhone/iPad apps.
Try accessing again using your iPhone/iPad app(s). If you're already connected, just use the refresh (circling arrow) button to check it out.
This worked for me. Let us know if it works for you.

Sidenote: You need then to be sure that the user has the map app (or Skype) installed and all associations are correct. So at least best to write it in the prerequisites when moving to the app store.

No color toolbar icons from standard launch, ok when launched from another app.

When launched from another app like google earth the toolbar icons are in color.
When launched normally the icons have no colors.
Currently Thunderbird 24.6.0

another experiment.
When you have the colour icons, Select Help menu > about (what version is this) when you have the black do the same and see if it is different versions. (pressing F10 will make them menu bar visible if it is not.)
Thunderbirds icons changes from living colour to black and white quite a few versions ago.
Reasons for color are;
* An old version
* An add-on by way of a Theme
* The running of Thunderbird in XP compatibility mode in Windows

Observations
This behavior is intermittent and occurs only while launching the Pages that point to the AK Regions. OAF Pages work fine.
Bouncing the Middle tier, resolves the issue for now. But crops up again in a few days.
It happens only in one instance, the other instances are working fine. All of them equate for tech-stack level.
Code Insight
Seems like the PCollManager.mCols is null. This is set to null only while releasing the connection.
Not sure as to how the connection gets released here. If this is the case, why is it happening only in this instance?
Also how does it work fine for other OAF Pages?
