Every few times I launch iTunes, it shows I have no music or movies etc. The path to the music folders is correct. I then have to import them all over again and syncs with my iphone and ipad take for ever because a different library is detected and the system deletes all the files on the device and then re-syncs with the stuff on the desk top.
Very frustrating!

This can happen when another program locks the iTunes library files, preventing iTunes from closing properly.
There are various possible culprits, but number one at the moment seems to be continuous backup software. Are you using it? If so it may be possible to set up exclusions or alter how it runs to avoid the conflict.

I cannot address the sync services error right now, but the error that you receive when you change from sync to manually manage music is what happens when you change. Once you change to manually manage music, it erases all of the music and will only put the music that you want on the phone, content that you manually drag over to it. Drag everything under Library > Music to this playlist.
Create a new Smart playlist.
Match all rules;
Playlist is Music

If the pictures in question were taken with the device, copy them to the computer as would be done with any other digital camera.
If the pictures were synced to the device via iTunes, they should already be on the computer.

1) The best way to relocate the iTunes library folder is to move the entire iTunes folder with all subfolders to the new path, then press and hold down shift as start iTunes and keep holding until prompted to choose a library, then browse to the relocated folder and open the file iTunes Library.itl inside it.
If you've done something different then provide some more details about what is where and I should be able to help.
2) Purchases on the device should automatically transfer to a Purchased on <DeviceName> playlist, but it my depend a bit on whether automatic iCloud downloads are enabled. If there is a cloudy link then the transfer might not happen. You can use File > Devices > Transfer Purchases. In iTunes you should also check out iTunes Store > Quick Links > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer.
3) Backup the device, then immediately restore it. In some cases you need to add a restore as new device into that equation. Obbviously not to be attempted until you're sure all your media is in your library. See Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device should it be needed.
4) I believe there is complimentary 1 incident 90-day support with hardware purchases, but no free software support for iTunes itself. AppleCare gets you a different level of support.

Try a Hard Reset.....
Press and hold the Wake / Sleep button AND the Home button at the same time, keep them both pressed until the Apple Logo appears on the screen, it can take 10 or more seconds. Ignore the swipe to turn off message.

The first step is to check and see how much space really is there. From the desktop right click on the drive in the upper right corner (at least it's there by default) and select "Get Info" to see how much space it reports as free.
It's not just media files that eat up disk space, though they are often a major contributor. Do you happen to be running one of the virtual machine programs (Parallels or VMWare Fusion)? When you create a guest drive there you normally have a fairly decent amount of disk space dedicated to it and that can fill the drive.
As well, a quick fix that may buy you some time is to empty the trash if you've not done so recently. Click on the trash folder in your dock and then in the window that comes up select the option to empty the trash.
If you can free up some space, there are programs that will help you find what files and directories are using disk space. I've used Space Gremlin (in the App store) for that sort of thing, though there others. If you run that sort of utlity you'll get some idea about what is really eating up the drive space.

Itunes not showing I have music on my iPod Touch 5th Gen.

Earlier I plugged my iPod into my computer and an error message occurred saying itunes couldn't read my iPod so I tried to find a solution online and found this site I went through the steps and plugged my ipod in. Now my itunes is saying there is no music yet the status bar still says there is music/files. I really don'y know what to do or where to start.
Edit: I also tried to back up my music with Share Pod to be safe and it is also saying my ipod is empty. My music still works on my iPod it still plays.

- Go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and see if you have a backup. If you have one restore from that backup
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
Also, go to Settings>iCloud>Storage and backup and see if yoo have an iCloud backup. If so then restore from that backup
iCloud: Restore your iOS device from iCloud
- Last, try backing up and then restore from backup if you could make one
