Launch NSU impossible

Greetings,
I have a big problem with Nokia Software Updater. It's doesn't launch and stay freeze in the first screen "Démarrage de l'application" in french (look like "software running ...). I have the 1.8.10fr NSU in french and i have try english version and it's same. I have no windows firewall (i have put it off) and my router is OK. I have check in your help file, the 62716 tcp port is down, currently process are ok (nsu_ui_client.exe *32 and nsl_host_process.exe *32). My Windows Vista Ultimate 64 Bits is new (i have reinstall it since about 2 weeks) and my computer is OK. All PC Suite is OK but not for NSU. I have reinstall above, uninstall and reinstall, try to put the dll in the program file for 64 bits but it's same. I have a Nokia N95.
I dont know what to do now ....

I'm sorry for my self, because I have N97 and I am customer of Nokia in 7 yaers ago.
I can't understand why update software must be do only and only with TCP port 62716 and it's not easy and user friendly???
My friend have a HTC H2 and update software for her phone very very easy.
I love my phone but very angry for this way that Nokia select for update software.
I hope that is correct as soon as possible.

Problems with NSU

When I start the application it sticks at Starting Application. I have cleaned my registry, downloaded and installed new copies of NSU and PC Suite and I have restarted my computer numerous times. I have disabled all Firewalls and AV programs and attempted to forward ports in my router. I am at a lose here.
My phone is a Nokia N95 and its firmware version is 20.something. Apperently there is a firmware up to v35.something.
I am running windows 7 32bit home premium.

Problems running NSU

NSU worked fine for some time, but today when I ran it to update my phone, the following error came up:
Nokia Software Updater: nsu_ui_client.exe - Application Error
The instruction at "0x10001d36" referenced memory at "0x00000008". The memory could not be "read".
Click on OK to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program
Help please?

Configuration Error when I try to update software

Hi
I have an X6-16mb and I am running Windows 7. I have the latest version of Nokia Software Updater v2.5.2 but every time I try to update I get a "Configuration Error". What is this likely to be please?

N95-3 Device's Product Code

Hi everyone I've been looking all over the new and haven't found any answer that satisfied me at all.
I went to the Update Firmware page and the ask for the Device's Product Code, that is supposed to be printed on a white label beneath the battery and It is supposed to look like (according to the page):
CODE: 0520001 ( 7 DIGITS )
I turned off my phone and removed the battery and looked for the code and although It starts with 05 , It has a lot of numbers besides the "7 digits" It is supposed to have.
My Device's Product Code is something like: 0542193214457T3P (16 digits)
So Is It just me, well my phone, or is there anyone else that have something like that?

an easy way to see if you have an update for your phone is to connect it via usb and launch NSU - nokia software updater program. it will search for you and determine whether there is an update or not. you can find it on nokia usa website.
also check these out, these are all the product codes for nam version

and yes you are right, there is no distinct product code but i believe that the code might be the first 7 digits of that code on our phones.

Nokia 7370 update firmware

Hi all,
does anyone know why my 7370 with product code 0532605 receives a message from NSU "impossible to retrieve phone information" while if I check in the firmware availability section it says that version 4.13 is available for it while it has version 3.56 installed?

Well i think it should be updated.
Check that the latest update sw you installed on the PC and turn off your phone , take the battery out and try again.

Coreservicesd crashing

I installed 10.5 Leopard. It's very nice. Also, I updated 10.5.1 some days ago.
(Please forgive my poor english)
But there was a problem. Sometimes, I had experience system lock. Mouse was moved, application was worked. But keyboard doesn't work, application quitting and launching was impossible.
I check crash reporter. So, I found coreservicesd was crashing in this time. But I can't found what is problem. I can't experience this symptom in Tiger(10.4).

Do you use Creative Suite 3 or Microsoft Office 2004? These are 2 apps that almost GUARANTEE a crash of coreservicesd - it ALWAYS happens after using these apps and then closing them with me... Its the apps that are causing the problem. Some CS3 apps don't cause this (Photoshop CS3, Bridge, In Design, and Dreamweaver, so far) because they've been updated - Office on the other hand is a disaster.
Wait for updates, or if you really need these apps I'd switch back to Tiger until this happens.

You may very well have damaged your library - or even your system by not having adaquate storage available
And never select all of the pitcture and move them - that will destroy your library - the iPhotolibrary is a SQLite database and must always be kept intact as a single entity -
Moving the iPhoto library is safe and simple - quit iPhoto and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity to the external drive - depress the option key and launch iPhoto using the "select library" option to point to the new location on the external drive - fully test it and then trash the old library on the internal drive (test one more time prior to emptying the trash)
And be sure that the External drive is formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) (iPhoto does not work with drives with other formats) and that it is always available prior to launching iPhoto
And backup soon and often - having your iPhoto library on an external drive is not a backup and if you are using Time Machine you need to check and be sure that TM is backing up your external drive

An impossible task? launcher on CD

I may be asking the impossible, but on the desktop there is the concept of a launcher.
If I distribute a java program on CD, I would like a launcher on the CD.
In Windows the problem doesn't exist as a double click on the java, jar file will launch it.
In Linux a double click in the jar file will launch the archive manager and open the jar file.
One can right click on the jar and ask to Open with "Sun java 6 Runtime", but I hope that the user
doesn't have to be so clever.
I wrote a runme file with contents
#! /bin/bash
java -jar NMViewer.jar
but that isn't much better as it asks if to Run, Run in terminal, Display or Cancel.
If it is possible what I really want is something parallel to the desktop launcher, which just does the job with no questions.
Is this possible?
Setting up my own machine to do something special won't help. I need it to run on a new Linux machine.

Is this a Windows 8 machine natively? Look for settings on secure boot and legacy boot. Turn off secure boot and make sure legacy boot is allowed.

Trying to launch another profile, get: "Impossible to find the executable file. To fix this, set a valid path in the options window"

Having this problem with FF21 Beta1, add-on version 1.5.0.2 on Win7 immediately after upgrading FF.
I would try to make a shortcut to the other profile as you suggested, but I honestly don't even know where the file is, if its a separate config or another executable all together.

Launching MX (ver 10) impossible - Due to Adobe?

In addition to my later posting I've now found out that something prohibit my installed MX Dir 10 to get into editing mode at all. I've uniinstalled the upgrade 11.5 version and my old MX 10 and re-installed MX 10. It launches to the splash screen (that captures and displays Adobes advertisment of ver 11.5) but the program hangs and after a while shut down it self.
I tried on another computer (without any installation of trial 11.5) and the MX 10 behaved just as same.
Am i missing something here? It cant be that Adobe have made it impossible to work with my old program, payed for and in good shape last time I used it. As we all dont know where Director is heading and I dont know how much I will use it in the future I've no plans to pay for any upgrade to 11.5 at the moment. But still I would very much like to be able to open and work with my old apps.
On the Aodbe site there is just one download concerning Director and that is the "have-to-pay-for 11.5" -one. Was there any other free upgrade before that to correct and adapt the old MX versions to Adobe trademark? If I cant use my old program and licence anylonger its a scandal I would say.
I sure hope that someone here would tell me more about this?

Anyway it ran without problem in XP before. It was some time I used it and probably before 11.5 was released. Noticed a differrence as the announcement of 11.5 turned up in the Splash window. That makes me wonder if Adobe made something that my MX reacts upon?

BTW. Was very much involved in Director work during the 90ties and on a quite advanced level. Now it seems Flash has taken over everything and the only extra Director has is 3D-related. Is that correct to say? I'm not into 3D but like to wake up my old business again so right now I do Flash-studies. The sad thing is that all that Liingo-experience has to be replaced with the totally new script language of ActionsScript 3.

Connected to ovi I had to upgrade the C7 software

Impossible to launch Flash CC 2014 - and worst CC experience ever

Let me explain the process here :
I launched Flash CC (not 2014), which I haven't launched since a long time. Then I opened a new AS3 document. And tried to use the brush tool. I selected a brush size. And then it crashed. Yes only that...
Adobe displays a message after crashing saying that they have a solution for this problem of crashing. Cool I think ! I click on the link, but arrive on the new creative cloud 2014 apps.A bit disappointing, but I think that the problem is resolved with Flash CC 2014.
So I download Flash CC 2014. And launch it. And it crashes.... Ok maybe it is a bad install. I restart the computer.
But then Creative Cloud asks to install the new CC Desktop app. F***. It begins to be a bit long to just use Flash !!... (Ok, I can use Flash at this point, but I need to synchronize my files, so I need CC desktop app. Anyway, I don't understand why I should download the latest version as the version I use works great : synchs my file, install fonts, and install softwares, which is the basics I need from Creative Cloud)
Ok I start to reinstall CC Desktop. But it fails !!! Yes F******** !! Error 43. "contact the consumer service". Ok I click. And I arrive on the Creative Cloud Help. BUT WHERE IS THE MESSAGE FIELD I NEED TO SPEAK TO ADOBE ???? OR THE TEL NUMBER OR WHATEVER ??? Where is the consumer service ??? Nothing ! I have to search inside all these forum links and help and find the good link to contact Adobe. WHAT A MESS ! But Adobe is not available. We are friday. I have to wait until monday. But I CAN'T !!!

I tried also with this one:

    50 deny ip any 72.163.1.0 0.0.0.255
    60 permit ip any any
10 : ISE
20 : ISE
30 : DNS
40 : DNS
50  :Enroll.cisco.com= 72.163.1.80 ( To redirect the Network setup assistant to ISE)
(Enroll.cisco.com is the adresse that the Network setup assiatnt is tryiong to connect)
