Launch the individual SCOs in a new window

hi guys,
Testing out C4 and loving it, especially the aggregator function. I have combined 3 SCOs as one elearning course and successfully uploaded it to the LMS. When I clicked on the SCO, it opened in the same frame as the LMS screen. Can i get it to open in a new window? If so, how?
I looked at the imsmanifest.xml file but can't find anything obvious.

There is no such option in InDesign CS6. It has to be accomplished in Acrobat by use of a JavaScript, as I recall. You should ask in the Acrobat forums for more informations.

It's not necessary to change the Command N keystroke..
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Then delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that didn't help, troubleshoot Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

I can no longer hold down the Safari icon on the dock and open a new window

I noticed after installing Snow Leopard that I am unable to hold down the icon for Safari on my dock and choose the option to open a new window. I have had to revert to (Command-Tabbing) through my open applications to get to Safari, then (Command-N).
I found it much more convenient to do it the other way. Am I missing something, or is this something that has been removed with the new Snow Leopard operating system?

Thank you. What a pain though. Why would they make it a separate command now. It would be so easy to have kept it in the pop-up that shows when you hold the cursor down on it.

Launching the JIVE software in a separate window

Hi All,
I'd installed and configured Jive in the EP.
I'd created iView in Portal and its working fine. Now I want to launch the JIVE software in a separate window without portal navigation as
http://forum.abc.com/index.jspa.
i.e without giving portal information.
Any help in this regard will be highly appreciated.

To launch Jive in separate window,
go to Dir:\usr\sap\E7O\JC01\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\com.sap.netweaver.coll.forums\servlet_jsp\forums\
root\templates\default.
In the template.jsp file change the
parent.location.replace("<%=portalServerUrl%>/irj/portal/forums?ForumsTarget=" + forumsTarget);
to
parent.location.replace("<%=portalServerUrl%>/forums/" + forumsTarget);

I have list item attachment names displayed along with the columns. I have used following styling to show the attachment names in the list

I have webviewer setup for the word documents to show in the browser. The attached document for the list item shows fine in the browser. Currently the attachment document shows in the same browser window
When the user clicks on attachment name, I want to show it in a new window or new tab. How can I do that?

How to Stop the Iview from Opening a New Window automatically

Hi
I have imported a BW roles that has 3 folders for different reports into the portal.
I would like the reports to display in a new window and have set the paramater "Launch in New Window" = "Display in New Window".
I have also set the parameter "Initial State Open or Closed" = "Close".
When I click on one of the tabs (represented by the role folder) the first report automatically opens in a new window.
I would only like this report to open when the user clicks on the report in the folder. Can anyone advise on any other setting that needs to be made?

Yes, the the Default Entry for Folder property is set to NO.
The first report in the folder still automatically launches a new window for the report.
There does not appear to be a setting "Clicking Folder Name Launches First Node" for the folder.
As a workaround I have created a page and added the following 2 settings.
1. Invisible in Navigation Areas = Yes.
2. Default entry for folder = Yes.
I would prefer to avoid this workaround so if anyone can provide any help it would be appreciated.

When I do a search, with MSN as my homepage, it pops up in a new window not a tab like it used to. MSN says it is Firefox related. How do I fix this? I have the option selected to open new windows in tabs instead and it still won't work.

I use Firefox 4.0.1 and have MSN set as my homepage. Recently, even with the option set to make windows open in tabs instead, if I do searches on the MSN page, the results pop up in a new window. That's strange. It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is changing your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal? Also have you tried uninstalling & re-installing flash? If you need help un-installing Flash see http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html. You also could try safe mode. Please give me the solution so that I can stay on the screen and can continue with that screen after opening new browser window.
Currently after opening new window as mentioned above, I can't do anything. If I press ok button then it will give me login page and if I press cancel button then my screen component's state become invalid.

We have resolved the issue. Cookies max age was set as current browser seeion in websphere.
After changing it as some max seconds, it is working fine.

i a report when we click on properties and then go to Column format tab.
there if go to navigate option it jus asks only the target request or dashboard and opens that in the same window on dashboard.

Sometimes firefox won't open and I have to 'end process', and others it won't let me search in the searchbar, or open a new window. What's going on?

Sometimes when I close firefox, it won't open again. I have to 'end process'. Other times it will not open a new window until I 'end process'. Sometimes it even won't let me use the search bar until I 'end process'.

Can I allow two attempts and after the first attempt have a new window open to a url?

I would like to allow the user two attempts to answer a question. However, after the first attempt, if they get it wrong, I would like a new window to open that takes them to a tutorial Web site we have, where they can find the answer. Then I would like them to be able to close that window and return to the question for the second attempt?
Is this possible?
Right now, I have designed a very clunky version of this. I have one question slide with one attempt and if they answer wrong, they go to the next slide, which has a button to the tutorial page. Then the same question slide is repeated, again with one attempt. In this same scenario, if the person got the question right the first time, they moved on to a new question slide. This works, but is bad for scoring and eliminates the possibility of using question pools and putting questions in random order.

100 feet would normally not be a problem......if the AirPorts have line-of-sight with each other......but if there are obstructions like walls, ceilings or furniture in the direct signal path between the AirPorts, little if any of the signal will even reach the extending AirPort.
Try locating the extending AirPort at about 50-60 feet away to see if can pick up a stronger signal to extend.
It would be much better if you connect the AirPorts using an Ethernet cable, as there is no signal loss in an Ethernet cable up to 300+ feet.

From the Safari Menu Bar click Safari/Preferences (or Command + comma on your keyboard).
Click Tabs. You can set your preferences there.
