Launch Transaction

Hi All,
Iu2019 am trying to launch transaction CRMD_MKTDS (Data Sources for Segment Builder).
I have created the launch transaction via the wizard and made it visible in my Business Role. If I click on it in the Web UI then it opens in another screen the SAP menu screen from GUI, but not direct the CRMD_MKTDS transaction.
What should I do in order to call the transaction direct in the Web UI?
Also, does someone know if the functionality of the transaction CRMD_MKTDS is available in the standard Marketing Role or in another role?

Regarding this pop-up for the 'Data sources' that was not appearing as it should in the web UI i decided to log a message on OSS...but apparently SAP don't have an answer for that...

Since the old transaction CRMD_MKTDS is still used through SAP GUI i am
not able to understand why you need to create the same by new UI.
I am really not aware about how you create a trx in new UI, so i suggestyou the same old trx in SAP GUI. I do not know how will you map the
data sources in new UI. Also in future also if you are using the BW as
data source it will be very difficult to get all the data sources
from BW to new UI. So SAP suggest you to use the old transaction only
and if you face any issue in that please revert back.

So basically I would like to kindly ask you if you don't mind to have a look at my definition of my transaction launcher to compare with yours...maybe you have some parameter/ flag that I'm missing.. do you have an e-mail where I can send this info for u to have a look?
Also If you could tell me what is the value of the parameter 'WEBGUI_sample_toolbar' (1,2 or 3) that you set-up for the service /sap/bc/gui/sap/its/ it would be nice..maybe it's because of that...

Hi,
I am trying to launch transaction BP in IC web client
I have configured the launcher wizard and entered the URL in transaction 'CRMC_IC_CROSS_SYS . I have added the navigation link but when i click on this link I get SAP initial screen ( easy access) instead of BP screen with an error 'Transaction execute is unknown'
I directly want to navigate to BP, can someone please help here or point me to some useful documentation. My mail id is [email protected]

Hello Amit,
I think you made a mistake in your transaction launcher wizard.
If you want an external url to be displayed you should choose URL and not BOR method in the trans launch wizard. The error message 'Transaction execute is unknown' means that you have selected BOR object in the wizard. When selecting BOR object it will automatically look for a EXECUTE methode in the business object. (Or, if you do wanted to execute a BOR object you have picked the wrong one)
Run through the wizard again and make sure you have entered the correct values.

CRM Transaction Launcher- Launching transactions of remote server

While using CRM Transaction Launcher is it possible to launch transactions of a remote system (SAP ECC 6.0 Transaction: va01)
Is it possible by giving the Logical System option in the Transaction Launche wizard as that of the ECC server??

Error in launch transaction

Hi Experts,
I am having errors on launch transaction in QAS. The errors I am getting are:
1) Mapped logical system KDVCLNT100 not defined. For this(I creataed a condition in class for DEV and QAS), Class created is included in zpackage and transported to QAS
2)Cannot determine logical system.
3) Launch transaction YBP_ERP_TX_IW51 not defined.
4) Launch transaction not defined Execution not possible.
Tranport done was successfull and I have checked the nav bar profile and it is ok.
Please give suggestion.

Hi,
You need to maintain necessary settings in transaction crms_ic_cross_sys. Maintain the information for OWNLOGSYS, it needs to be maintained in every system as a manual entry.

ICWC Error when launching transaction

Hello all,
Working with CRM 5.0, in interaction center web client I want to launch the CRM 'BP' transaction from navigation bar. I have configured Transaction Launcher and also Navigation Bar Profile.
But still when I click on the link at the left hand panel, I get the under stated error: -
404 Not Found
SAP J2EE Engine/7.00
The requested resource does not exist.

Hi Pedro,
Make sure that you have specified the transaction type of the Launch Transaction to be appropriate (BOR Transaction if you want to launch a SAPGUI screen and not a URL Transaction).
Specify the transcation in Definition 1 field. and rest of the details correctly.

We are doing CRM IC Web client implementation where in we are bringing ECC VA01,VA02 Transactions on to web ui and providing this to agents.
In the same context, the client has requested for similar kind of links on E-Commerce application to look for ECC Sales order and other ECC Transactions.
Here the catch is we are not replicating the Transactional data in to CRM. Here we are having single crm instance connected to multiple back end(ECC) Systems.
Can you give us any SAP Reference link that tells us it is not possible to provide TL in E-Commerce application.

Hi you can follow below steps,
1) create remote enable function module 'ZCALL_PA30' with importing parameter as i_pernr
2) then Inside function module write
data pernr type pa0000-pernr .
pernr = i_pernr.
SET PARAMETER ID 'PER' FIELD pernr .
call TRANsaction 'PA30' AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN .
3) In current program call function module in below maner.
call FUNCTION 'ZCALL_PA30' STARTING NEW TASK 'T'
Try Out above steps, it works for me.

IC WebClient: Launch transaction from button

Hello,
I'm able to launch a BOR method with GUI of a backend ERP-system from the navigation bar of the IC WebClient using the transaction launcher functionality.
Does anyone know how to launch GUI-BOR methods from a "normal" button in a view instead of the navigation bar?

Actually all events on Navigation bar would be taken care by its controller class 'CL_CRM_IC_NAVBARVIEW' .
You are trying to launch a transaction inside a BSP view by clicking on a button,look at this controller class and its methods especially method NAVIGATE_VIA_LTX_ID to get some understanding.

Launching transaction iview frm webdynpro iview

Dear experts,
I am launching a transaction iview from a webdynpro iview. On click of button it launches the transaction:CV02N.
The screen variables are: DRAW-DOKNR and DRAW-DOKAR.
I am using absolute navigation.
the code is as below:
WDPortalNavigation.navigateAbsolute("ROLES:"path,WDPortalNavigationMode.SHOW_HEADERLESS_PORTAL,null,null,WDPortalNavigationHistoryMode.NO_HISTORY,null,null,"DRAW-DOKNR="docnos+"&DRAW-DOKAR=DRW&OkCode=/00",null,false,false);
I can see the name value pair in the URL of the transaction iview which opens in the new window. But I just see the initial window of the transaction and I need to enter the parameters again to see the result.
Is there any way to see the result directly?

If you see attribute: "DRAW-DOKNR="docnos"&DRAW-DOKAR=DRW&OkCode=/00"
Here docnos is a string which takes value dynamically.Rest of the values are hardcoded.
When I launch the transaction iview, I can see the values being passed in the URL.

ICWC Launch Transaction Error

Hi Experts,
I see a strange error in the launched ECC window from IC Web. The ECC window sometimes throws an dialog box error like "Internet explore cannot open the Internet site
https://<host>:<port>/sap(.................................) " . This dialog box comes when the ECC transaction comes up, or even in the middle of an ECC transaction.
I am using the below ITS URL to launch the ECC transaction (ECC 6.0 & CRM 5.0):
http://<host>:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/!?transaction=IC_LTXE&okcode=ICEXECUTE
Can you please help me in resolving this error?

Error when launching transaction code CRMBS02

Hello all...whenever we attempt to launch the t-code CRMBS02 or BS02, we get a popup that says:
Error in object editing: This syntax cannot be used for an object name
Selecting the documentation drop down provides:
Message no. TK103
Diagnosis
The syntax of the transferred objects is incorrect. R3TR BSVS made this check.
This could be caused by the following:
The object type R3TR BSVS is unknown
The syntax of the object name is incorrect
The object is a component of a system object
System Response
The function terminates.
Procedure
Correct the syntax.
Any suggestions? When this occurs, it does not enable editing and allows for display only. I have SAP_ALL assigned to the user, so I don't see any authorization errors when I trace the transaction code.

Hello Joe,
Tasks template of type T and Workflow Task of type WF, are no more used after release 45b. The were substituted by the TS Templates and by Workflow Template.
Please notes: 114811 -
From release 4.5 onwards only WS/TS tasks can be created via the standard workflow editor transaction however WF tasks created in previous releases may still be maintained. If it is important to be able to create WF flows in release 4.5 then you may still do so with transaction PFWF. This transaction has been removed from the menu to encourage the use of WS flows wherever possible.
A copy utility to copy WF flows and it's components to WS flows will be made available to speed up the transfer to client independent flows.

"From Release 3. 1 onwards, it is possible to create customer workflows
of type 'WS'.
Solution: If you have 'WF' workflows, they will continue to run after an upgrade. You can modify them too. However, some of the new features of future releases only apply to 'WS' workflows. See note 114811 for a complete discussion of this subject.
You should pass from T and WF templates to the New WS and TS templates.
1) In relation to workflows of type 'WF' (Workflow Task) and task 'T' they have not been developed since release 40B, instead the Workflow Template (WS) was introduced and Tasks 'TS'. This error has seldomly
been observed in the case of trying to work with WFlow tasks of type WF instead of type WS.
Existing WF will run also in higher releases, however if you change a WF task in a higher release it may produce dumps or numerous errors. This is valid too for Tasks.
Please refers to note 114811.
If you want to change them please copy them first to templates type WS or TS rather than WF or T. Use PFTC in order to copy them and then you can make the changes and you will have much more functionality than type
WF or T.

It is interesting for me, after going through your issue. I tried launching the Abap Webdynpro application without using the transaction LPD_CUST.
I got a similar response as you. On debugging I came to know that they are using BADI implementations to actually make it work. I made my own ZBADI implementation and that Worked!!!.
For launching the transaction, have a glance at the enhancement spot APB_LAUNCHPAD. There are around 9 BADI definitions and each definition has many implementations. Try to make use of these BADI definitions and implement your logic accordingly.
For launching the Abap Webdynpro application I used the following code and the BADI implementation(ZLAUNCHPAD_IMPLEMENT) for the definition BADI_APB_LPD_BROWSER_ONLY_URL.
Even the launch url method worked for me(doesnu2019t require any implementations)

Launching transactions from Flex

Hi,
    I am working with flex builder3. I want to launch a transaction whenever i click on a button by passing some parameters.
     I tried creating a shortcut and launching it. It works fine but doesn't server the purpose.
    I want to launch a transaction by passing some parameters.
   How do i do that. Any help regarding this would be appreciated.

let me explain it :
from flex if you want to call a SAP transaction in, say system mysapsystem, then if you are ok with SAPGUI for HTML and your mysapsystem is on WAS6.40 , you can use integrated ITS. for example to call se38 from flex, all you have to do is call a url like below from flex.
http://<abaphostname>.<domain>.com:<port>/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui?~transaction=se38
