Launching CRM_IC Transaction

Hi
I am trying to launch the CRM_IC transaction and am getting the page cannot be displayed. The web address it is trying to open is pasted below.
I do have the following settings
IE 6.0
Java 1.4.2
server address
sapserver.dns in the host file on the localpc.
http://iibs-bw3:8035/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ic/default.htm?sap-client=800&sap-sessioncmd=open

Avinash,
If you have checked all the SAP related setting, then also check the settings on the browser.
I believe that the link provided by you is in the LAN. In this case the browser has to be told to use this as local address.
for IE
Tools >> Internet Options >> Connections >> LAN Settings >> Advance
Put the Domain address there and press OK.
Ensure that the "Bypass Proxy Server for Local Address" is checked on the "Lan Settings"

When launching a transaction, I am getting error that client XYZ has status

I am in SAP APO , when I try to launch the transaction /SAPAPO/48000009
SAP Menu -> SCM Basis -> Planning Service Manager -> Current Setting -> Define Planning Profile. I get a error saying Client XYZ has status 'not modifiable'.
What setting could be missing?
Please help with your inputs.

Launching GUI transactions from BSP

Dear Gurus,
I have requirement to launch ECC Transaction from CRM Web Client UI. Now, i dont want ITS based version of ECC version but WIn GUI version. I found Wiki link below which suggests the steps however it does not work.
I have exactly same requirement in CRM 7.0 (Support Pack Level 5) and i implemented same steps as desribed in the article. However I am facing issues tha It first asks for the right applicaiton to open object, i choose SAP Applicaiton exe file but later it gives error -
Erro Statusing "C:\Users\windowsloginid\App Data\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Low\Content.IE5\2DG74TFC\win_gui[1].sap'(rc=-2)"
Here win_gui is the name of .HTM page with flow logic. I copied all the code in Page Layout and i am also not able to debug this as breakpoint does not hit.
Please suggest as this is something really urgnet for me.

I am able to launch GUI for Windows though SAPshortcut method. I am also able to pass the Tx type and sales area on VA21 screen and skipping the first screen. However Now I am facing issue to pass customer number on VA21. I am using KUAGV-KUNNR field to populate customer but it never works. KUAGV-KUNNR buffer is emplty even when i am passing this through shortcut.
Please suggest.

Hi,
Use the transaction launcher wizard to create the link and assign the parameter for the bp number.

->Transaction Launcher
->Configure Transaction Launcher (Wizard)
Depending on what you want you can edit the generated code afterwards to redefine the call. This is cover in the IC webclient cookbook.

Display issues in WebIC when i launch a Transaction from CRM

In Web IC 5.0 i am calling BP transaction from CRM.
The page displayed to me is SAP easy Access Menu instead of BP .
I was told that our installation is using new SAP gui service( i am not very sure as i am a functional guy).
any suggestions please?

Hi,
We faced a similar situation. You can pass parameters to an external website in the query string. But you cannot do that with the classic transaction launcher config.
You would need to write javascript code to achieve this on the 'confirm' button event handler code.

If i recall correctly from PS2, business role pages are pages that are only visible in the personal space of users. Normaly users can create there own pages in there own personal space. When you create business role pages, these pages will be available in everybody's personal space.
That's why they are not available in a custom group space. Business role pages are bound to the personal space.
If you want to role out pages to a specific department than you can solve this by using permissions. Create your business page in your custom space and set the permissions so that only people from a specific department can see the page. Therefore you need to put all your users from a specific department in a group.

Launch SAP Transaction from UWL and decision views

Q1:
we wan't to launch a SAP Transaction from the Universal Worklist. Does anyone know how to do this explicitly?
Q2:
I have tried to add decisions directly to a List View, i.e. with the reject and approve columns. The columns do appear, but the checkboxes are not visible. From the log I can see a warning "No Custom Attribute exists for item ...".
The three options do appear correctly when you go to the details view for the item, and I did apply the same values for the actions (1,2,3).
Does anyone know how to do this?
PS! I have read the How To document, but could not find the answer there, nor in this forum.

Cannot launch SAP Transaction from Guided Procedures

I created a Callable Object that is linked to a SAP Transaction.
When I test it by Execute-ing, I got a browser prompt to Save or Cancel the "xxxxxxx.sapssd" file.
How can I get it to launch the SAP Transaction?

Kinldy ensure that you used the following process to create the Callable Object
- Select the Parent Folder to Create Callable Object in GP Design Time
- Click on 'Create Callable Object' in the Action Items for Gallery
- In the Create Callable Object Step, choose 'SAP Transaction' option under 'User Interface'
- Provide the Basic Data in Basic Data Section
- In 'Define Object' step, provide the SAP System name as created in the SLD. Mostly the Alias name is displayed in the list. Also provide the default Transaction you wanted to execute.
- In the 'Define Input' Section, you can optionally provide the input parameters. Leave it blank to make it simple.
- In the 'Set Configuration' section, check the 'Execute Immediately'
- Finally Finish and Open the Callable Object for testing.
Following the above process should help you launch the SAP Transaction in a separate browser window.
After verifying the above steps, should you still have a problem, then it would be helpful if you can provide the steps you followed in order to replicate the problem.

Launch CRM transaction through SAP Web Client UI

We would like to incude transaction "S_AE2_89000019" from CRM to SAP CRM WEB Client UI.
We have done the following steps using the SAP best practices (C04-Configuration guide):
1. in transaction CRMS_IC_CROSS_SYS we have configured the CRM system with url: http://CRMnameServer:httpport/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/!?transaction=IC_LTX&okcode=ICEXECUTE
and ERP system with url
http://ERPnameServer:httpport/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/!?transaction=IC_LTX&okcode=ICEXECUTE
2. we have set TSTC to synchronous (CRM and ERP)
3. we have configured transaction launcher through wizard (tx CRMC_UI_ACTIONWZ)
4. we have created logical link for transaction and we assigned the link to work center and business role.
The problem is that when we are opening the SAP CRM web gui and click on the link that we have created, we take a blank picture with a red x "PLease wait..." and nothing else opens.
Can anyone help?

Launching a transaction

Hi,
I have completed the configuration for the Transaction Launcher for the URL. It is assigned to the role. But I want to trigger this URL on click of a button on the view. Can any one please let me know of how to do it. Also, I want to pass some parameters to the URL and get back some data.

I am trying to launch CRM_IC and facing same problem either ways - CRM GUI and through web browser URL. I get following message: "Loading" on the main window and additionally a small window pops up for a fraction of seconds with following message "Ending the user session.... <img width="1" height="1" src ="/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ic/default.htm sap-sessioncmd=logoff">. After this additional window, session teminates with nothing happening on the first window and message remains as "Loading". Is there any way to get out of it? I need to launch IC webclient. Am I following the correct approach or there is some other approach to load BSP - CRM_IC ?
Do I need to have specific version of Java, do I need to have any specific settings on the browser?
Please let me know.

Unable to access ECC transactions from CRM using Transaction Launcher

Hi Folks, we are trying to create a booking request using VA11 from portal. For this we have configured transaction launcher in CRM which will connect to ECC system from portal and VA11 screen will be launched. For this we have done the necessary configuration in transaction launcher (Including RFC destination and logical system) and this is working fine in Dev system but not in quality system. We are able to see SAP screen with toolbar Menu and System but not the entire transaction (refer image below). Our questions here are,
1)     What user type has to be configured when connecting from CRM to ECC? (System, Communication data or any ohter)
2)     If this has to work with user as Dialog, is there any supporting document from SAP saying this should be Dialog user?
3)     Is there any other issue and need development specifically related BOR TSTC?

Transaction Launcher: Logical System in Production System does not change

Hi,
I created a transaction launcher in the CRM development system (CRD) to launch the transaction IL02 in the ECC 6.0 system (ECD). Then I transported the changes from CRD to the CRM production system CRP. I also transported the changes from ECD to ECC production system ECP.
However, when I see the transaction launcher in CRP system, it is still configured for the URL of ECD. I want the transaction launcher to connect to ECP. One option I have is to change the class name in the CRP system. However, I am not allowed to create a new ABAP class in the production system. Is there any other way to change the target system automatically in production system?

Thanks Piyush. Could you be a bit more specific? I followed these steps:
1. In transaction CRMS_IC_CROSS_SYS, created a logical system URL for production system
2. In customizing setting Copy/Delete Launch Transactions, deleted the transaction launcher id.
3. In customizing setting Configure Transaction Launcher, created the same transaction launcher id newly.
I still am not able to change the logical system. However, I can do it if I change the class name.
While deleting the transaction launcher id, should I be deleting all dependencies?
