Launching Elements 10

How do I launch Elements 10 when it has downloaded successfully, but when i click on the desktop icon, the screen flashesto the Organizer and then cuts out? (I can access the organizer in an around about way through Premiere Elements, but this is awkward) I have Windows 7 operating system

Try launching the editor and entering your serial number there if asked.

Problems launching Elements 11 Editor

Hi, Is anyone else having a problem opening elements 11 editor? It only appears to have been happening since the advert for elements 12 has come up.
All I get is a Runtime Error! message, stating This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for your reply... I lost patience with it yesterday and uninstalled and reinstalled it which seems to have cleared the problem for now.
I don't really know too much about computers, but I have an older version of Adobe Elements also installed on this computer and I was wondering if maybe that has been interfering with launching Elements 11 Editor?
Anyway, Thanks again for your advice.... I've made a note of it ..... so if it happens again I'll try your way of correcting it.

Inability to Launch Elements 6After Reinstallation

Because I was having some problems, I uninstalled Elements 6 and reinstalled the program. Now, when I click the desktop icon, nothing happens. I'm unable to launch Elements 6.
Can anyone suggest a fix, please

Try making a direct desktop icon for the Editor and see if you can launch the program directly from the desktop.
Right click anywhere on the desktop and select New >> Shortcut
Browse to Computer OS C:
And find the PSE Editor application in Program Files or Program Files (x86) on Windows 7 - 64 bit.
C: >> Program Files >> Adobe >> Photoshop Elements 6.0
Within the Photoshop elements 9 folder find PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe (with the blue icon)
Select that file and click Next.
Then click Finish.

Mac unable to launch Elements 12.

Mac unable to launch Elements 12 - pop-up states I should check with provider that software operates with OS X version 10.6.8. Any suggestions?

I guess i don't remember that in photoshop elements 3, so could you explain a little more about what your asking?
What operating system are you using?
Unless your talking about the welcome screen that gives a choice of what to start when ckicking on the pse 3 shortcut (welcome screen, organizer or editor)
Window>Welcome in the editor or organizer
Or auto launching the adobe photo downloader when you have a camera or camera card connected.

In LR 5, "edit photo in Elements" makes PSD & launches Elements but photo doesn't open in Elements

Preferences are set w/ PSCC as first external editor and Elements 10 as second.
Elements 10 is set up for PSD file, 16-bit etc. as recommended by Adobe Help.
Repro:
Select photo in LR
Open Develop module
Select Photo/Edit in ... Elements
LR makes PSD
Elements launches
No photo in Elements (does not open with photo, project bin is empty)
Expected: PSD from LR to open in Elements

Under the "Additional Enternal Editor" / Application you are probably pointing to "Adobe Photoshop Elements" instead of "Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor" See here for more info

Installed Photoshop Elements 13. Tried to launch - "Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working."

I downloaded and installed Photoshop Elements 13 & Premiere Elements. I then launched Photoshop Elements Organizer and imported approx. 28,000 photos (including some videos). A window opened indicating that many of the photos had tags, and asking if I wanted to add the tags. I said yes, and the process began. When it reached 60% a window opened indicating that "Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working", with the only option being to "Close program."
I've tried to open organizer several times, but it goes immediately to "Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working". I was able to open Editor, and tried opening Organizer from Editor, but encountered the same problem. Same when I opened from Premiere Elements.
I’ve uninstalled/reinstalled Elements 13 three times, twice using the Akamai downloader, and once using the Alternate method. It said installation completed, but when I opened the program, it went straight to the error "Elements 13 Organizer has stopped working". These times I didn't get to import my photos or their associated tags.

I already checked that and I have the latest drivers for my printer. Thanks for the suggestion though. Dennis

OS X Yosemite: Organizer Hangs During Launch (Elements 12)

I recently moved to an SSD drive, did a clean OS install and a new Photoshop Elements 12 install. Organizer hangs/freezes on launch now. The log file is below, and is the same for each launch attempt. Help would be appreciated!

Can't launch elements 10

I have a new macbook pro running on OS X 10.7.3. I've tried to install photoshop elements 10 on it. The organiser launches but when I hit the 'edit' button I get a 'configuration error' (a problem has occured with the licensing of this product... Error: 213:5'
I've been onto Adobe who have had me check permissions of Adobe folders, open a new clean account and launch it, uninstall, clean and reinstal, but they can't solve it.
Elements works fine on my iMac.
Any ideas?

Problem launching Elements 8

I can double click on Elements 8 and the first window comes up asking if I want to edit or organize. Neither of those choices works at this time. I have clicked both and the program does not launch. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the program, but I get an error and the program will not uninstall. I then downloaded Adobe Support Advisor, but it cannot find any supported files. HELP!

Go into your program files or program files(x86) if you have a 64 bit system>adobe, and see if you can find the actual .exe files for the editor and organizer, and make a desktop shortcut for one or both. In future start PSE that way. The welcome screen is trying to contact photohop.com which no longer exists, so it hangs it up.

After Adobe Download Assistant is installed, you can start it at any time and select a product to download at the bottom of the window. The list updates as new products become available to download with the Adobe Download Assistant.
