Launching Photoshop Launches Quicken installer

I recently installed the CS2 upgrade. After a week or so, when I click to open it, for
some reason a Quicken installer opens too. Not only that, but under file>automate, all the selections are duplicated and do not work properly (I needed photomerge for a class assignment). My question is
this....should I go to Applications and throw away my Photoshop CS
folder, or throw away PS CS2 and re-install?
(update) Now I have also run disk utilities>permissions and >repair disk from the restore CD (x2), and tried holding shift @ startup to disable startup items. The problem still occurs.
(update 2) Todays attempt involved running a freeware app called onyX. I ran all scans and fixes including repairing Launch Services Database. No dice.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum, but there seemed to be some software questions in here. Please direct me accordingly if my question belongs elsewhere.

More often than not, the cause of something is the simplest explanation, to paraphrase Achem's Razor. It was worth a shot.
The Quicken Installer Package is probably no longer needed. Why not trash it?

I have revised the JAVA_HOME path and all isw correct and the library exist on it.

If you want to run the Enterprise Manager on a 64 Java VM, you can
use Platform Independent Introscope Installer.
Then specify the path of your Java 1.5 64 bits installed, in the script runem.nohup.sh to launch Introscopr Enterprise Manager.

JVM Error while launching SOA installation

I am not able to launch the installation for SOA suite 11g on windows server 2003.When i click on setup i get following error:

Could Not find main class.Program Will exit.

Hi Chinmay,
Make sure PATH env variable has appropriate JDK entry and it is ahead of any older version JDK entries. Issue may be because of older version of JDK in PATH or there may be no JDK at all.

Trouble with launching yosemite installer

Hi all.
I've downloaded Yosemite via App Store, after that installer's start page appeared. But I rebooted my Air by mistake before start installing process.
Thus I've got no idea for now (after reboot) how to launch Yosemite installer manually (App Store shows that I've really downloaded new OS X, but there is no way to start installing). Can anyone help me with that?

the installion location is the default installion path - C:\Program Files\Update Services
the content folder was directed to a diffrent volume - e:\wsus\
i tried to delete everything that connected to iis and wsus and re install and now i am getting:

Database assistand failed to launch during installation

Hello,
I have trouble getting oracle 9.2 installed on my Linux machine. The database assistand failes to launch during installation. This is the debug output:

You will need to use the native installer to run your app in extended desktop mode. Normal AIR apps don't allow you to launch another process.

Launching the installer for CS5 Design Premium

I downloaded a copy of CS5 Design Premium for Mac and attempted to launch the installer but received the following error message: "Install" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. How can I launch the installer so I can activate the software?

That message is from Apple's new Gatekeeper feature in OS X Mavericks. Nothing to do with Adobe.
You can temporarily bypass Gatekeeper in order to install the software

Photoshop cs6 extended Installation stops at 45% continuously.
I have previuosly downloaded and started a trail some days ago...then uninstalled it...now wanting to reinstall it...doesn't work. Stops at 45% and the computer start laging

Photoshop Elements 12 Installation Problems

Photoshop Elements 12 installs fine on a Windows XPSP3 platform (from C:\Documents and Settings\UserName\Desktop\Adobe Photoshop Elements 12).
On a Windows 7 SP1 platform C:\Users\....\Desktop\Adobe Photoshop Elements 12, but will not run
Error 1000 Application error caused by PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe followed by
Error: 1005 (100)
Description: Windows cannot access the file for one of the following reasons: there is a problem with the network connection, the disk that the file is stored on, or the storage drivers installed on this computer; or the disk is missing. Windows closed the program Photoshop Elements 12 Editor because of this error.
The same source installation file was used in bith installs.

Photoshop Elements 10 Installation Question

How can I tell if my software installed properly? The software came with three discs, and it only installed the first disc. I am new to Photoshop, and do not know if my software installed properly? Can anyone help?

Thank you for your quick replies. I have checked,and my OS is indeed 64 bit. I have been using the 32 bit version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 10, since I installed it last evening. I have a few quick questions;
Will I loose any functionality if I stay with the 32 bit version versus un-installing and installing the 64 bit version from disc 2?
If I decide to un-install, and re-install from disc 2, will there be any software registration issues (as I have already registered the software)?

Sorry for the inconvenience. The first troubleshooting for this error is to update the Adobe Application Manager. Please install the latest version of Adobe Application manager from the below link and try to start the installation.
