Launching problem MX after 11.5 upgrade

Hello,
If this is a general problem, excuse my ignorance as I cant find any thread discussing it.
I installed my MX-version on my new computer and haven´t been that Director active lately. I had the impression that Adobe offered some free upgrade (if not to update the old Macromedia trademark) so I downloaded the 11.5 just to find out that it was some trial version that Adbe expects med to pay for. Dont have any plans for that at the moment but would very much like to check out some of my older Director apps. But...
If I try to open the MX version I will get the splash screen and no more. The program is froozen for a while and then it shut down without further messages. I will uninstall both versions and then re-install MX. Hope that will do it for me.
Anone experienced this?

Thanks for reply but the problem wasnt that the couldnt co-exist. The problem was that when launching MX it took me too the splash screen (where the ad for 11.5 flashed so Adobe has done something that connects when starting the old MX-version. And "something" prohibited every other action as Director immediatly shut down after some seconds.
I found the "solution". During the short period of splash I managed to mark the "dont show this at start anymore" button before the program was shut down. After that Dir MX works just fine. Therefore Im more or less convinced that its some evil Adobe (want to sell more) code involved in this. Anyhow, uninstalled 11.5 trial and run MX, thats good enough for me.

I have an iPod classic 160GB and I just recently upgraded to Snow Leopard and downloaded a TV show today, but when I tried transferring it to my iPod I got the message that my iPod what synced with another iTunes library and that if I installed that TV show, then all of my movies and tv shows would be erased from my iPod. What needs to be done in this situation? I would appreciate any feedback anyone could give me, thank you!

Pages 4.2 hangs/won't launch/not responsive after Mountain Lion upgrade

I upgraded to Mountain Lion last night on my 2011 MacBook Pro.
I now have an issue where Pages will not open afer I click the icon. The icon bounces and bounces and then stops. I check the System Activity and it says Pages (Not Responding).
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application and also tried to run it it safe mode and the same thing? Is this a new issue or is there an old fix for it.
BTW Keynote has the same behavior.

What version is Pages? If you have at least Pages 4.0.5, try deleting the preference file. Go to HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences, delete the com.apple.iwork.pages.plist file & then restart Pages. In Finder, hold down the Option key while clicking on the Go menu & your user Library will appear about halfway down the list.
If you're version of Pages is older, try updating.

I believe my problems started after the latest upgrade, so how can I uninstall it and revert to the previous version?

I can open Firefox on startup, but once I get off of it I can't get back on until I shut down and restart. If I get on mail first, I can't get on Firefox. I can't open some attachments in the emails either unless I open the mail while Firefox is still open. And I keep getting an error message about "having to close unexpectedly" with "restore" or "open new session" options. It acts like something is still open somewhere and the computer can't open anything else.
Also, when I go from one email to the next, the previous message doesn't automaticall y close like it used to. Also, the little green bar that usually indicates some action is solid and stationary when I can't get on to Firefox.

ATV "Not Connected" in iTunes After V2.0 Upgrade!

Before the update was available my ATV was not showing up in iTunes ... Many had this problem.
After installing the upgrade ATV shows up in iTunes 'Devices' list, in Prefs Sharing status is 'on, no users connected', ATV shows as 'ATV streaming'.
There are no other setup items to remedy this situation that I can find ... I've reset, unplugged, and restarted everything.
Any help would be appreciated.

VPN Stopped working (consitently) after 2.2 Upgrade

After upgrading to the 2.2 firmware, I started to experience a lot of trouble getting my VPN connection to work. It is attempting to connect to my PPTP server, and worked fine before. I tried changing from a host name to an IP address, and that didn't help. I've also done some restarts, but nothing seems to work. On my PPTP server, I can see an incoming connection, but the iPhone just sits there in the "Connecting ..." state. Eventually it times out and says "Network Not Available". Every once in awhile, it does connect, but it's rare.
Has anybody else experienced this? Any suggestions other than update the firmware in my firewall (which isn't really an option, or necessary I'd say).

Steven, yes, that is the case. I am not using an RSA Secure ID. All of the other settings you listed are what I'm using.
As an additional note, I got the Network Utility (by Codepacity) program from the app store. It allows you to (among other things) ping sites. When I used that to ping my PPTP server, I saw that the ping attempts were failing. I kept running it until the pings started to succeed and was then able to get my VPN connection working; it was a long time before the pings started working. It may be that AT&T's network was having issues, and it was just coincidental that the problems started after my firmware upgrade. That is just speculation though.

Touch ID not responding sometimes,after 7.1 upgrade

Touch ID not working sometimes.Sometimes its not even try to scan finger, i need to type the passcode to unlock ,but when i try later it will work,And it will stop working again.I tried reseting the phone ,added new finger prints still same issue.Problem started after the software upgrade to 7.1.It was working fine with old version 7.0.x.Somebody help please..

It sounds like your Touch ID is not working consistently. I recommend the troubleshooting steps for Touch ID from the article named:

Verify that you are using the latest version of iOS.
Ensure that your fingers and the Home button are clean and dry.*
Note: Cover the Home button completely. Don't tap too quickly, don't press down hard, and don't move your finger while Touch ID is scanning. Make sure that your finger touches the metal ring around the Home button.
If you are using a protective case or screen protector, it must leave the Home button and the surrounding ring completely unobscured. If it doesn't, remove the case or screen protector and try again.
Tap Settings > General > Touch ID & Passcode > Touch ID and verify that:
iPhone Unlock or iTunes & App Store is enabled.
One or more fingerprints have been enrolled.
If one finger isn't working, tap Edit in Settings > General > Touch ID & Passcode > Touch ID > Edit to delete and then reenroll the finger.

Problems with iWS6.0 SP4 after JDK change / upgrade

I recently upgraded from JDK 1.3.1_02 to JDK 1.3.1_07 .
In both cases .... the JDK was installed at /usr/j2se.
iPlanet 6.0 SP4 was already using JDK 1.3.1_02 before ( /usr/j2se ).
Now after the JDK upgrade, in an attempt to restart the admserv. I am getting the exception below:

If I modify the start-jvm file so that NSES_JDK points to an older version of the JDK ( /usr/Solaris_JDK_1.2.2_07 ) ... or a newer one ( /usr/j2sdk1.4.0_02 ) ... then the admserv instance starts up.
Having said that, in an effort to try to replicate the problem, I tried the same JDK upgrade on another Solaris8 SPARC installation, also with iPlanet 6.0 SP4. That one worked fine with any problems. The admserv instance started fine after the upgrade.
The only different thing that I did was:
1) I first told iPlanet6 to point to a different JDK location ( JDK 1.3.1_03 in /usr/j2sdk1_3_1_03 ) before the upgrade ....
2) restarted the admserv instance ...
3) install JDK 1.3.1_07 ( /usr/j2se )
4) told iplanet6 to point to the JDK 1.3.1_07 ( /usr/j2se )
5) restart the admserv instance
Why would it not work with one installation and not the other ?

This maybe the final clue. I did a truss via:

After upgrading my iPad Air with IOS 7.06, I could no longer connect to the internet.
I have 2 MacBooks Air, 1 ipad mini and one iPhone 4S running on the same network, and they are all connected to the net and function well.
So I cleaned up the ipad completely, installed the latest firmware and reinstalled my apps : no connection.
I tried all things of resets and forgets. No result.
I have been fondling with my Airport Extreme 5 , but that did not help much.
This morning I went to a neighbor , hooked my ipad air on his network, typed the password and the thing all worked fine.
I have tried to connect the ipad air as an ethernet client, but that did not work. „Not enough power“ was the statement
Ideas anyone ?

Yes I tried this manyfold. But did not work. Reading on, I took Tesserac's advice. Shut down router and computer.
Start router after 15 minutes and wait another 10 minutes before starting the computer.
Et voila.... everything is back in working order,

Ok, I have the fix!! After several frustrating days it finally just works.
The process:
Upgrade your Macs to 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Powercycle your modem AND time capsule / airport TWICE
Reset your time capsule with a pin or paperclip on the back
Follow the prompts to setup your time capsule / airport access
-- On your Macs
Go to System Preferences > Network > Airport > Advanced > TCP/IP
Click "Renew DHCP Lease" then click "Ok"
Click Apply
Turn off Airport
Turn Airport on
IT WORKS!!!
One of the magical people at tech support walked me through it earlier today. The whole process took about 1.5 hrs because Show Leopard takes about an hour to install on one machine.

I have problem with Access Connections on L412 after that utilyty upgrade

I have problem with Access Connections on L412 after that utilyty upgrade in early August. Windows 7 Ultimate/x64.
It stops connecting to WPA2 Enterprise (AES-CCMP), Microsoft PEAP, no server cert, with any credentials I try to use. The same account(s) works with native Intel manager on other notebooks and on mobile devices. I lost the wireless connectivity to enterprise WiFi network.
And, after deinstallation of Access Connections, the inability to connect keeped intact with native Win7 WiFi management.
I think, something was broken in Access Connections 5.83 Build 83C753WW and some registry settings/ dll modules were altered but not returned to normal after deinstall.

Access Connections is definitely broken for WPA encryption. Both versions 5.02 and 5.84 fail for me. If I use the Windows XP wireless configuration instead of Access Connections, everything works.
Does anyone know how to report this to Lenovo? I chased links around the web site but couldn't find a place.
