LaunchPad Does Not Showing icons Of Few Apps

Hi Guys I Got A Realy Bug Problem, Launchpad does not showing icons on some apps, but names - it does.
its realy annoying, here is picture of the problem(maybe in file not so sure):

So here is very simple solution to the problem... i just did on my MBP and it worked
Open application folder -- if you have launchpad icon on your dock - good if not then drag the icon ( rocket icon) from application folder to Dock.
Now, whatever icon is missing, drag that icon from Application folder to the launchpad icon on the dock. Then check if the icon is visible now by clicking on launchpad button or F4 key.
For me it worked flawlessly.

Software Update option is only available if you have IOS 5 or above.
Your iPhone 3G IOS 4.2.1 is the end of line, there's no more update for this model.

Depends on where you got it - if it came on yoru compujter then you need to have accepeted it in the App store - and it will be in your purchases when you log in with the Apple ID that you used to set up your computer - it mahy be hidden - if you do not find it unhide applications in teh App store

BOBJ 4.1 SP2 Launchpad does not show 'Home' tab in the portal running in IE10

We have installed BOBJ 4.1 SP2 and running SAP portal on IE (Internet Explorer) 10.
When we open the launchpad in the portal, it does not open the "Home" tab and instead just shows the menu bar in the 'Documents Tab'.
This works perfectly fine in IE 9.
But when I open the Launch Pad separately in IE 10, I see the Home tab with no issues.
Has Anyone seen this behavior and if so what is the resolution.

HT201301 Pages does not show up as an app that supports file sharing in my iTunes. Why??????

I just downloaded Pages & Open Word onto my iPad because I want to be able to load my recipes from my iMac onto my iPad to use in my kitchen. When I try to use iTunes to transfer the files, neither app shows up as working with file sharing. What am I doing wrong? What app can I use to get these files from my desktop to my iPad?

I have Pages and file sharing is file sharing so step by step....
Connect the iPad to your Mac
Launch iTunes.
Click on your iPad name under the devices heading on the left sidebar of iTunes. If you are using iTunes 11 and don't see the sidebar go to View>Show sidebar.
Click on the Apps Tab at the top of the iTunes window on the right.
Scroll down to File Sharing Apps
Do you see Pages in that list of Apps?
If you do - click on it.
Now drag any of your Pages files from the desktop into the file sharing window on the right.
Launch Pages on the iPad.
In thumbnail view - Tap the + sign in the the upper left corner
From the popup window select - Copy from iTunes.
From the next window - select the file that you just dragged into the file sharing window.

Finder does not show icons view (it only shows list, column

Since I updated my macbook pro retina late 2013 to yosemite, I cannot see any finder folder window in icon view. It only shows list, column and cover flow view. Not something important, but if there is something wrong, I want to know!
+also since i bought it last December, there is this download bar (which shows the download procedure) on the downloads folder at the dock, stuck there forever. It looks like I am still downloading something, but opening the folder everything is done. It goes away after 2-3 restarts.
can anyone answer if this is a software issue or a hardware?

These files are EPS files not image files. They have a TIF or PICT preview inside the file, I believe in the resource or data fork of the file. The file extension is EPS, and I cannot change that, just type the letters. The actual extension, the 4 digit one, that is invisible is the one that is important. In the case of EPS the actual extension is EPSF or EPSI.
Just to try the fix I changed the name and it did try to make a preview, but it came up with nothing. It was blank in column view. The OS still reads it as an EPS regardless of the change in file extension.
Anyone have some answer that involves a command line, I think that is really going to be the only thing that solves this one.

Win 7 64 bit, office 2010 64bit, acrobat 9.5.4 / pdfmaker does not show up in office apps

I do not get the Adobe add-in in any of the office apps, nor do I get the covert to pdf or combine pdf selections when I get the menu from using the right click on the file. I did used to get these options. I have done a repair, I have also tried the command solution, nothing seems to work. The add-in are not in the add-in menu in the office apps.

I photo does not show icons on the bottom

I am using iphoto 9.0 and I have seen in the video instructions that there some icons on the bottom and also is saying that you can drag a picture into a date of the calendar.
I have tried to drag a picture into the date calendar and is not working, also I dont see the icons on the botton can someone tell me how to add those icons on the bottom and also how to fix the drag a picture into a date that is not working?

Is your PDF read extended? or do you know whether this was created using Acrobat or any other product?
You may want to sign your document using Acrobat, please download the trail version from here# http://www.adobe.com/in/products/acrobat.html
If this works, then open the file in Acrobat and click on File -> Save as Other - Reader extended features. Save your file.
Now open the same file using Adobe Reader and try to sign it. It should work.

Menu Bar does not show icons

My MacBook was acting up so I took out the battery because it wouldn't let me shut down or restart. When I put the battery back in and turned it back on all of the icons on the right side of my menu bar were missing. There is no bluetooth, battery life, internet signal, date, or time icon on the right side, nothing. I went to "system prefrences" then "date and time" only the window feature for time is working. I have no idea how this happened and I cannot find an article under troubleshooting that covers this. Please post if you have any ideas or suggestions.

Choose Go to Folder from the Finder's Go menu and enter /System/Library/CoreServices/ as the folder's path. When this folder has appeared, double-click the item SystemUIServer inside and check whether the icons appear.
If so, add this application to the list of login items for your user account in the Accounts pane of System Preferences.
If not, choose Go to Folder and provide ~/Library/Preferences/ as the location. Move the file named com.apple.systemuiserver.plist inside this folder to the desktop and try opening the SystemUIServer again.

Music I have downloaded through iTunes on my iPhone 5 does not show in my "music" app

Would anybody know what I can do? I've downloaded songs from iTunes on my iPhone 5, but hey are nowhere to be found.
I also have an iPhone 4 and he music settings on that phone seem to be he same and the same purchased songs ARE showing there and on my iPad too. Very strange. What could it be?!

The question that I want to ask can you try device on other computer? Best choise to isolate issue is with iPhone or computer/os.

ADF region does not show

Hi,
I have a jsff page that I want to add a region (via bounded task flow & corresponding jsff file).
When I add an existing task flow (that appears as region in another page) everything works fine.
However, when I add a newly created task flow, if does not show anything when the app runs. However, it shows fine in the JDev preview.
After having done this many times, I believe that the newly created task flow is fine (analogous to the existing one that works).
Any idea what can be wrong?
I am using JDeveloper 11,1,1,6.0

Yes I do have a default activity.
The issue tuned out to be about permissions and authentication. We just added ADF authentication; thus you have to added permissions to view these newly created resources (taskflows).
Given that this was the first tasfklow that was added after adding ADF authentication, we overlooked this.

Launchpad does not display all applications

Not a biggie but thought it might show some industrial strife in the background!
I've installed ML and now launchpad does not show Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc). They are still installed, perfectly usable, and on the dock anyway, but is this a sign of corporate friction, or something more sinister?!?!?!?

I have one app that does not show up in Launchpad

I have one app, the game Diablo II, that still shows up in my Applications folder as it always has but does not show up in Launchpad when I pull that up in Lion. All of my other apps are there in Launchpad... but not this one. Any idea how I make an app that I can see in my Applications folder show up in launchpad also?

If the icon exists on your screen, just do a long press on that icon and when the small X appears on top of the app, press it and it will delete it. As long as this is not an Apple app, since those cannot be deleted.

I have just downloaded a free app and there is no icon and it will not open from the list even tho it appears to have downloaded and the "open" button is available. Does not show up when I search for it. Plenty of memory . . .
