Launchpad layout resetted after installing Netgear Genie. How to undo?

After installing netgear genie my launchpad layout got resetted as if you buy a new mac, with on the other pages all other applications sorted by name. Really annoying. Cant find the .app of the genie app, the app isnt in the applications folder, nowhere on my HDD. It is in my lauchpad though.
How can I uninstal this piece of bad software and gat my launchapad layout back to normal?

I had the same problem, Just happened the 2nd time to me with new upgrade. I had to go back and re do all my folders and arrange my apps again, relay *****. Never again, un installed Net gear Genie.

Can you be clearer about what you're seeing? The price should be clearly stated up front... Is that not the case? Note that there may be additional taxes that will increase the final price, and that can't be included in that up-front listed price, since taxes are different everywhere.

1) Make sure that Weblogic Node Manager is running at background.
2) Make sure that all weblogic Managed Servers related to OIM (port 14000) and OID 11g LDAP Port 3060, LDAPS Port 3131, wls_ods1 (DIP & ODSM) is running on 7005 and WebLogic Admin Server is running on Port 7001.
3) Check whether all the OID Services are running by following commands
a. export ORACLE_INSTANCE=/u01/app/oracle/admin/oid1_inst
b. $ORACLE_INSTANCE/bin/opmnctl status

Your MF4380dn is supported by the latest UFR2 v10.4.0 driver that supports 10.9. Here is a link from the Canon Australia web site,

Before installing this driver, please remove the MF4380 from Printers & Scanners (unless you have already performed the reset that Carolyn mentions which will remove it for you). Then run the v10.4.0 installer and when it has completed, open Printers & Scanners and add the MF4380.

I have Installed Sql Server 2014 Express edition and downloaded the AdventureWorks 2014 database and Back up files.
I cannot find an Icon for the Sql Server on my Desktop to start the Sql program. There is only an icon for the Server Installation Center.
How do I start the Sql server. I tried opening the AdventureWorks Database but I cant open it.

When I installed Sql I chose Windows Login. After Installing I logged into Sql server using windows account. Should I have chosen an Sql account instead.

Locate the folder on drive where AD mdf and ldf file reside. Right click on folder select properties and then select security tab. Click on add and then type account name and search and add it

Define "everything" because if you've tried everything then your last recourse is:
1 - restore your backup copy of your iPhoto Library created just prior to your Yosemite upgrade or
2 - Starting over from scratch with new library
Start over with a new library and import the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from your original library as follows:
1. Open the library package like this.
2. Launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
3. Drag the subfolders of the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from the open iPhoto Library package into the open iPhoto window a few at a time.
This will create a new library with the same Events (but not necessarily the same Event names) as the original library but will not keep the metadata, albums, books slideshows and other projects.
Note: your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.

App store app will no longer open after installing Mavericks. How do I update in future??

Many of the apps that came with my MacBook Pro when I bought it direct from Apple last year now crash the moment the icon appears in the Dock since I installed Mavericks. These include Calendar, Pages, Contacts, Preview (all of these were updated after I installed Mavericks) and, most worrying, The App Store app. If and when Apple produces updates to sort out the bugs in the new system, how can I get them if I cannot open the App Store? Has anyone else found answers to these problems? I can get around some of these problems eg by installing Adobe Reader instead of Preview but I don't want to be stuck with a system I cannot update. It sounds like you have an issue with your installation of Mavericks. I would suggest that attempt to Safe Boot your computer first as a troubleshooting step to see if the issue can be resolved that way:

Symantec need to update their Firefox add-ons so that they are compatible with Firefox 4. They have indicated that for Norton 360 they plan to release an update to Norton 360 to support Firefox 4 in early May - http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20100720113635EN&ln=en_US
I do not know about the time scale for updates for other Norton products. Pending the update by Symantec, if you want to use the Norton add-ons you will need to downgrade to Firefox 3.6.
To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

IPhone 4 keeps resetting after installing iOS6

I went to update my iPhone to iOS6 and when the software finished loading my phone froze. When I reset it and turned it back on it keeps restarting over and over and over. My sister and I spent almost an hour on the phone with Apple tech support only to hear them say "Restore to factory settings" Now I've gone and tried to do a hard reset on the phone with iTunes and it's not letting me because I need to update my iTunes software........Isn't a software update what screwed me in the first place!!!!!!

Following Troubleshooting security software will frequently resolve this issue. This issue can be caused by the default packet size being set incorrectly. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet-size modification for assistance in adjusting this TcpWindowSize values. Typically the default packet size is modified by 3G cellular network card software, ISP communication software, or Internet speed download optimization software. There are legitimate reasons to change the TCP/IP packet size and not use the Windows default settings (for example, network traffic optimization, home/broadband optimization, enterprise app optimization such as database apps, Exchange, and more). Deleting the "TcpWindowSize" or "GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize" entries in Windows Registry could affect the system's performance with other apps or on their network connections. Deleting the customized TCP/IP settings may require the reinstallation of any third-party applications that had modified the TCP/IP settings from the Windows default settings.
There are two ways to resolve this:
You can follow this article by Microsoft: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) , or follow the steps below to manually find and remove TcpWindowSize and MaxGlobalTcpWindowSize entries from the Registry.
For Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7: Go to the C:\Windows folder and launch regedit.
Go to Edit > Find.
Search for "TcpWindowSize" entries. There are typically multiple entries of TcpWindowSize/GlobalMaxTcpWindowSize spread throughout the entire Registry. If "TcpWindowSize" exists, one or more third-party applications have changed the user's default Windows settings for TCP/IP.
Go to File and select Export. This step will export a copy of the Registry that can be used as a backup of the original settings.
Delete the "TcpWindowSize" entry.
Search for the next "TcpWindowSize" entry and delete each one until the Registry no longer has any "TcpWindowSize" entries.
Close Regedit, restart the PC, and test.

Recently installed Mavericks. Now both the event and project libraries are blank. How can they be restored?

Are you referring to iPhoto or iMovie? If it's iPhoto then what version of iPhoto are you running? Have you updated to iPhoto 9.5? If so what version did you have previously?
As a first attempt try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
2 - Run Option #4, Rebuild Database, followed by Option #1 if needed.
Can't help you with iMovie.

Only 90MB disk space after installing iLife '11 - how to move iLife?

Hi, my installation of OS X is on a small SSD and I just barely had enough space to install iLife '11. I need more free disk space though so I need to move the largest iLife programs or maybe the whole thing. Obviously I wouldn't be posting here if the iLife '11 installer would let me install to my external drive but that wasn't the case. I tried "moving" iMovie but I got an error saying that I didn't have permissions. Thanks for any help!
MY LIBRARIES ARE EMPTY! So moving them won't help!

Well - I partially figured out my own solution. You can move iLife. I moved the apple loops in /Library/Audio and all the iLife directories in /Library/Application Support to my storage drive. I made symbolic links for each folder I moved. Then I moved the apps to the other drive. I also moved my home folder - thanks Tom. Now I have 4GB of space back and I'm not seeing any more slowdown. I realize now if I have any other problems I'll just symbolic link more stuff off my startup SSD. Works like a charm for now. I'll update this thread if I run into any trouble. I ran GarageBand and all the loops play instantly off the symbolic links. So to all of you - remember to think creatively! My only alternative was to reinstall os x on the regular HDD - glad I took a moment to learn about symbolic links.
